Made with 2 colors: A and B.

Do not end colors at the end of each round, carry up on wrong side of work.

Front post double crochet (FPdc): Yo, insert hook from front to back to front again around the post of next st, yo, draw up a loop (3 loops on hook), [yo, draw yarn through 2 loops on hook] twice.

With A, ch 6, join with a sl st to form a ring.

RND 1:
With a, ch 3, (counts as 1 dc now and throughout), 2 dc in ring, [ch 3, 3 dc] 3 times in ring, ch 1, hdc in 3rd ch of the beg ch-3 instead of last ch-3 sp, drop a to wrong side, draw B through loop on hook to join (4 groups of 3 dc).
