Finally his thrusts tapered off, his cries growing fainter. His body was still twitching beneath her, but his hands had lost their death grip on her thighs. Amy gently pulled away, curling close to Luke. He pulled her to him, burying his face in her neck. It was a long time before he spoke, saying the words she’d been waiting to hear, from any man…or vampire…for centuries.
