Just then, the earth shook around her followed by a massive explosion viciously rattling everything. Smoke filled her small room as the old man, knocked on his rear with his pants around his ankles, cried out in fear. She crawled over to the door where she heard more yelling and screaming. Yuri’s voice, filled with obscenities, was the loudest.

Nadiya found the courage to enter the hallway where the smoke was the thickest. Most of the girls stayed in
their room only poking their heads out along with their Johns. She moved toward the chaos, to her it was far better than spending another second in that room.

She got as far as the end of the hallway looking into the bar where the front entrance was no more. As the evening moonlight cast into the room, she could not see Yuri’s face because his back was turned to her, but she could sense fear and rage coming from him. All of it was directed toward the woman standing in the obliterated entranceway.

She was tall with dark caramel skin; Nadiya had only seen a person with her complexion once before. She wore a simple thin red leather jacket and long black tights. Her long dark woolen mane and red cherry-toed bare feet captivated Nadiya, while her piercing deep glowing blue eyes told her that Yuri, the devil, was a liar.

There was a God, and angels walked the earth.

You have no right, bitch! This is not your country!” Yuri howled.

No, asshole, but it’s my world,” she answered him in fluent Ukrainian.

You fucking monkey,” Yuri sneered. “I come ready for you.”

Nadiya knew who Yuri was referring to. Her heartbeat sped up at the sound of the footsteps. She clutched the corner of the wall praying they would not notice her. Kostyantyn and Anastasiya, the two superhumans Yuri employed four months ago, and now she knew why.

She witnessed the almost seven foot wall of pure muscle with piercing gray eyes, known as Kostyantyn, crush both the forearms of a customer while suspending him in midair for busting up the face of one of the girls because she puked out his semen instead of swallowing it.

Yuri had him punished because he refused to pay extra for the damages to his merchandise. The girl’s punishment was to service every man in the building that night. If a single drop spilled from her mouth he promised to bash her skull in with a sledgehammer.

Nadiya didn’t know Anastasiya’s abilities. All she knew was that the platinum blonde’s eyes had a similar glow to the woman that stood before them, except hers was a piercing white. Lights flickered when she walked by. They popped when she was angered. In addition, men made sure to avoid her at all times, while Yuri showed her the utmost respect. She looked down at all of the girls in the stable with disgust and unbridled hatred, as if they were weak and deserving of their fate.

The woman standing before them showed neither fear or concern. Instead she just pointed to Kostyantyn.

You I can see,” she addressed him before wagging her finger at Anastasiya. “You I find to be disgusting.”

Don’t think you can lecture me bitch,” Anastasiya sneered. “This is the land of wolves and sheep. I could give a fuck about the “would be eaten” just because they have a twat like me.”

Then I won’t have any regrets about what happens next,” responded the woman with the black lion-like mane.

With no more words between the two, Anastasiya kicked off her open- toes and planted her bare feet firmly on the ground.

In an instant, the room’s temperature increased significantly as parts of Nadiya’s frayed blonde hair stood up on end.

It was then that she bore witness to Anastasiya’s true terrifying power. Pure raw electricity poured from her slender toned frame. It violently snapped and crackled moving about her like a snake, lashing out like a whip
blowing out some of the remaining light bulbs in the vicinity, or cutting through the wooden floorboards like a high-powered arc welder. The display of power made Yuri duck behind the bar for cover. Anastasiya raised her hands and allowed the current to surge between them showing her control of it. Nadiya now knew why Anastasiya only wore skintight rubber outfits; the only material capable of withstanding the massive heat she generated.

She cowered as she watched Anastasiya lift almost three feet off the ground. The electricity flowing from the tips of her toes scorched the floor underneath her. It was like watching a furious demigod awaken. The only two people unfazed by her terrifying show of power were Kostyantyn and the woman standing in the blown-open entranceway.

If you’re done showboating,” the woman sighed rolling her eyes, “I got some place to be.”

 “
Roll your eyes to this, bitch,” Anastasiya snarled.

She unleashed a violent bolt of electricity from the palm of her right hand hitting the woman in the middle of her chest, making an ear splitting sound.

Nadiya crouched low, barely able to stay near the room which became a serious hot zone. It was amazing it did not go up in blazes from the extreme heat generated. The woman buckled slightly from the bolt of human generated lightning.

To Nadiya’s surprise, and Anastasiya’s fearful shock, the electrical blast that could turn a block of wood to cinder appeared to be a slight discomfort for the woman. In fact, the charge meant to hurt her, appeared to be feeding her, as her eyes glowed brighter.

A savage grin formed on her face.

 “
So, what else you got?” she coyly asked.

Kos… Kostyantyn!” Anastasiya nervously screamed as she continued to pour on the heat that did nothing but sear the woman’s leather jacket.

Yeah, Kostyantyn, let’s see what you got,” the woman taunted.

Kostyantyn growled rushing the woman with blinding speed, breaking floorboards and shaking the structure of the building. He hauled off with a right cross to the side of the woman’s face emitting a mini shockwave violently rocking the building. Nadiya fell on her rear while a staggered Anastasiya broke off her electrical attack. The seismic quaking of the building did not stop as Kostyantyn rained down building toppling blows on the woman. But as destructive as his blows appeared to be, they neither staggered the woman nor forced her backwards.

Out of nowhere, the onslaught was over with one earth-shattering blow. Neither Nadiya nor Anastasiya could see when she landed the punch, but it was clearly a body blow. Kostyantyn came almost two feet off the floor before dropping to his knees. He clutched his gut as he hacked up a massive amount of blood. His entire body trembled as he groaned.

Breathe… breathe… slowly.” The woman placed a hand on his back, “Your body will regenerate… just breathe slowly. Now, do you want another?”

Kostyantyn shook his head yielding to her.

Then stay there and don’t move,” she ordered him. “As for you…”

She locked onto a terrified Anastasiya.

Get away from me, you fucking monster!” she screamed.

Anastasiya blew out the roof of the building with another massive lightning bolt. Her plan was to make a
break for it amidst the falling burning rubble and smoke. The superior superhuman thwarted her attempt to flee, snatching her out of mid propulsion.

Please! Please!” Anastasiya pleaded.

The woman she had ridiculed a couple of minutes before the fight, held her by the neck displaying her own form of propulsion shaking the very structure of the building. Nadiya covered her head believing all the unnatural power would bring the brothel down on top of everyone.

The energy she generated was far more powerful than Anastasiya’s, yet controlled. There was some heat behind it, but not enough to set the floors on fire. It pounded the floor and vibrated everything bringing down almost every bottle on the shelf behind the bar. Yuri, from behind the bar, screamed as a couple clocked him while coming down.

The big bad wolf is begging for mercy now?” the woman sneered, tightening her grip on Anastasiya’s throat to stop her annoying pleas for leniency. “Well, I’m not in a merciful mood today.”

Anastasiya let out a blood-curdling scream as she lit up like a Christmas tree. Nadiya coiled back shielding her eyes as bolts of electricity shot everywhere scorching walls and blowing out the remaining lights in the bar. At first, it appeared as she was electrocuting Anastasiya, which made no sense to her. Nadiya did not need to be a rocket scientist to know that Anastasiya was immune to the fatality of electrocution. Looking closer, she realized the woman was actually drawing energy from out of Anastasiya. Her eyes flickered becoming somewhat normal, while the woman’s eyes became an intense burning blue.

Anastasiya drained of almost all of her power went limp. The woman lowered herself back to the floor releasing her where she collapsed into a heap.

What… what did you do… to me?” Anastasiya wheezed.

Think that would be obvious,” informed the woman. “I drained you of your power. Electricity being one of the main power sources that feeds me allows me to do that. I could have taken it all, in which case you would be a lifeless burnt out husk right now. For now, I just took enough so that you’d be incapable of conjuring up a spark. Unless you find a massive generator, it’s going to take you awhile to get back to full power. How does it feel to be just a sheep?”

Anastasiya mustered enough strength to roll to her side and slowly curl into a ball.

Yeah, Van Dam you ain’t,” said the woman dismissively.

She returned back over to Kostyantyn who remained kneeling on the floor.

He stopped gasping and puking up blood, apparently healed from the earth cracking gut check that he received.  The big man, as instructed by the goddess who brought him to his knees, moved not an inch. She now stood over him contemplating his fate.

On your feet,” she ordered.

Kostyantyn slowly rose clutching his gut towering over her. It was clear he still felt the effects of the thunderous blow.

Do you have a sister?” she plainly asked.

Kostyantyn shook his head no.

Do you have a mother?”

Kostyantyn nodded yes.

The next thing to follow was a vicious slap across the face that sounded like a thunderclap. His eyes widened
with rage as his nostrils flared. His chest expanded rapidly as if preparing for round two. He, however, did not budge an inch as the woman stuck a finger in his face.

Shame on you,” she scolded him, “how dare you use the gift you were given for this. Using it to hurt and subjugate others; squandering it to line the pockets of that animal cowering behind the bar. I should knock that stupid looking head clean off your shoulders. Guess why I haven’t done it yet?”

He did not answer her as he continued to stare her down; she did not wait for him to ask as she stepped closer.

Because my parents taught me to never look down at a man unless you’re picking him up,” she delivered her message with a motherly tone.

Her words proved to be more powerful than her fists as Kostyantyn hunched his shoulders and bowed his head. Nadiya was dumbfounded to witness a man, who was once Yuri’s savage right hand of fear and intimidation, swat away tears of shame and regret from his eyes.

Raise your head,” she ordered him as if talking to her own son.

Kostyantyn obeyed, staring into her blazing blue eyes again.

I’m going to give you a chance to straighten out your life,” she pointed at him again. “You get only one chance to clean up your act. If I ever catch you in a place like this, or doing anything remotely similar to something like this, and I mean running drugs, guns, hit man for the Mafia, anything illegal. You will know me as your mother on that day. I will take you out of this world, and no amount of begging or pleading will stop me. Do we understand each other?”

Yes,” Kostyantyn nodded.

Nadiya was floored again as this was the first time she had ever heard the big man speak.

Get out of here,” she gave her final order.

An instructed Kostyantyn left through the obliterated entrance of the brothel not giving a thought to his former employer whimpering behind the bar. A nervous smile grew on Nadiya’s face as she continued to hide near the entrance leading into the bedrooms. The woman sauntered over to the bar placing her hand on the beer-stained wood top and slowly tapped her fingernails across it.

If you make me rip this bar apart to get to you, I will bludgeon you to death with it,” she warned him.

The pimp, rapist, sadist, and murderer of women fearfully rose to his feet with cuts on his hands and face from broken glass. He reeked of booze that splashed on him during the demigod-like battle in his bar. He timidly raised his hands searching for mercy.
