Joey was in a sweet frame of mind after seeing his mother,
feeling like a dark cloud hovering over his head for ten years had
finally lifted. The cloud that was lifted, parted away in the form of
Joey’s tears. Joey cried to Gabriella over missing his mom through
all the years that had gone by. Joey opened his heart and soul to
Gabriella, telling her of all the times he had thought to visit her,
how he had wondered daily how she was doing, how she would
pop into his head, and he would drive her right out. Joey professed
how much not seeing his mother hurt him, how he had miffed
himself.

Gabriella calmed Joey down by telling him all the reasons
why he couldn’t let regret come into his life now. The one reason
that made Joey feel better, was when Gabriella told him, ‘we may
never have met if you had lived your life any differently.’ Joey
sniffled as he said back to Gabriella, ‘but we’re soul mates, either
way you were my destiny’.

Joey then treated Gabriella like the angel he thought her to
be, before they had got together, for the rest of that Sunday. He
brought her to his favorite trail in the woods for a long walk,
holding hands. When they were done with the walk, Joey brought
Gabriella to the ice cream shop for sundaes. They sat outside
eating their ice-cream while watching the sun set. When the sun
had set and the stars came out, Joey took Gabriella back home. He
showed her all of his blueprints he had designed for her, wanting
her to know how unique she was to him. He wouldn’t allow
Gabriella to see the blueprint of the house he was building now, his
quest was still for it to be a super, secret surprise.

When Joey and Gabriella made love that night, Joey treated
Gabriella as God’s finest creation. He was tender, gentle, loving
and most of all caring. After, Joey held Gabriella as if she was a
newborn baby whom he had vowed God to harbor from earth’s
evil, his lifetime though. Gabriella fell asleep cradled in Joey’s
arms, feeling protected from anything in life that may ever come to
potentially hurt her. Joey himself, felt like protector and provider,
for the woman he loved.

Chapter Twenty-Four

The last thing Joey and Gabriella wanted the next morning,
was to part from each other. Joey skipped the gym when Gabriella
told him she had something she wanted to give him. When Joey
saw the box, he smiled in lieu of the amount of hard work
Gabriella created in designing the covering of the box. Joey had
no clue though what could be inside. Gabriella suddenly flipped
the box over, placing it back in Joey’s hands. Joey read out loud,
“'reasons why I love you.’ What’s there to love about me?”
“Very much, open it and find out.” Gabriella said, sitting next to
Joey on the bed.

Joey opened the box and was simultaneously filled with
laughter and Joy.
“This many reasons?”
“Yes, and I have even more.” Gabriella said, soon to realize there
would be even more reasons to come.
“Wow Gabriella. You must be real bored without me home.” Joey
said, not meaning to, but upsetting Gabriella.

Gabriella felt like Joey was making fun of her craft, she so
thoughtful made. Gabriella made a pouting face to Joey, and
simply kept her mouth shut. Joey immediately kissed her. “I
didn’t mean it like that. I was suggesting you need a baby.”
“Are you going to read any of them?” Gabriella’s asked,
brightening up her mood.

Joey read a few of the little hearts.
“This is too sweet. I feel very special right now.”
“Do you feel loved?”
“Oh yeah.” Joey said, then reading a few more, until he placed the
top back on the box. “Gabriella, I can’t read any more right now.”
“And why not?”
“Because I’m getting a big head.” Joey admitted, causing
Gabriella to laugh.
“But do you like my creation, or do you think it's stupid?”
“I love it.”
“You mean that?”
“I do, actually I think it's the most thoughtful gift I've ever been
given.”
“Oh Joey.”
“I'll see you tonight my dear.” Joey said, kissing Gabriella
goodbye, causing Gabriella to crave love making.

When Joey arrived home later that night, neither him nor
Gabriella could wait to see each other. Since Joey had left
Gabriella in the morning, right in the moment before love making,
he was aware she had been desiring him all day, just as he had
been thirsty for her. Gabriella informed Joey when he arrived
home and found her in the bedroom, she hadn’t made anything for
dinner tonight, and the only thing he was allowed was she. She
then forced him onto the bed, showing him with passion, what she
had been longing for the entire day through. When Gabriella was
through fulfilling her desire, Joey was in paradise over the passion
growing inside of Gabriella for him.
“I’m really not getting dinner?” Joey asked, in his cute face, while
the two cuddled.
“Of course you are.” Gabriella said, making her way out of bed,
and dressing herself.

Gabriella went downstairs, poured two bowls of cereal, and
brought them up to Joey. Joey ate his cereal without any
compliments, feeling Gabriella had been a good homemaker the
last couple of weeks. He did however wonder what she had been
doing all day. After Joey had his second bowl of cereal, he brought
their empty bowls down to the sink, and placed them in the
dishwasher for Gabriella. When Joey got back upstairs, he
grabbed Gabriella from the computer desk chair, and into his arms.
Gabriella wrapped her legs around Joey’s waist as he lowered her
to the bed. Joey laid down on his back so Gabriella could find her
comfy spot on his chest.
“What did you do all day?” Joey asked, with complete concern.
“Nothing.”
“Nothing?”
Absolutely nothing.” Gabriella said, recalling her day and how she
spent it laying in bed all day, thinking of Joey.
“You had to do something.”
“Nope. I laid in bed all day Joe.”
“Did you watch TV?”
“Nope.”
“Did you read a book?”
“Nope.”
“Then what did you do?” .
“I spent my whole day, day dreaming about the rest of my life with
you.” Gabriella said, brushing the side of Joey's face gently with
her pointer finger.

Joey had no words left to say to Gabriella, and wasn't at all
annoyed she had a lazy day, while he was hard at work, thinking of
providing for a lifetime for her. He also didn’t put it past Gabriella
that she did indeed spend the whole day in bed, doing absolutely
nothing. Joey knew he could spend an entire day doing the same
thing, and bid Gabriella sweet dreams before falling asleep
himself.

When Joey woke up on Tuesday morning, Gabriella wasn’t
in bed. Joey found her downstairs in the kitchen making a big
breakfast.
“Isn’t this more of a Sunday morning breakfast?” Joey asked,
holding Gabriella from behind as she was buttering toast.
“I guess so.” Gabriella said, seeing no reason why a big breakfast
couldn’t be eaten on a Tuesday morning.
“Why did you go all out?”
“To make up for not cooking you dinner last night.” Gabriella
admitted, to Joey, and then she gave him a morning kiss hello.
“I am starving.” Joey said, thinking back to the two bowls of
cereal he had last night.
“Good. Well sit down and eat.”

Joey reluctantly left Gabriella to head to the gym before
work, because Gavin texted him last night to make sure that he
would be there, and Joey felt obligated to make sure he was there.
After the gym, Joey headed to work, and thought about Gabriella
all day. When lunch time finally rolled around, Joey was happy to
give Gabriella a ring.
“Hello handsome.” Gabriella said, answering the phone.
“Hello beautiful”
“I miss you.” Gabriella said, not being able to help, but miss Joey.
He was now her everything.
“Well I miss you more.”
“How’s working going?”
“It sucks. I’d rather be home with you. What have you been up to
all day?” Joey wondered about Gabriella, being she did next to
nothing yesterday.
“Nothing. I cleaned up the kitchen, got in a good workout, tanned
in the sun, and I’m just sitting thinking about you.”
“I wish I could be there with you.”
“We should go away on vacation.”
“We should go away on our honeymoon after I’m finished,
building our house.” Joey said, thinking he would love to get away
with Gabriella for a while, but his business just wouldn’t allow him
to.
“We haven’t talked about a honeymoon yet.”
“Leave all that to me my darling.” Joey said, already having
planned their honeymoon, and in the middle of working on the
finishing touches with the travel agent.
“I guess I could do that.” Gabriella said, adoring Joey’s surprises.
“Are you making me dinner tonight?”
“Yes. I’m going to go food shopping with the money you left
yesterday, today.”
“No pressure.” Joey said, even though he felt if he was working
long hours, it should be her responsibility to cook for him.
“So you want cereal again tonight?” Gabriella said, laughing,
causing Joey to laugh too.
“You’re all I want.”
“I’ll make you something, really special.”
“As special as you are?” Joey asked, getting a look from one of
his workers passing by who overheard.
“No silly, as special as you are.”
“I’ll see you when I get home.” Joey said, while his heart was
skipping beats from Gabriella’s love.
“Okay.”
“Till the end of time?”
“I like that. Yes till the end of time, but hey Joey, there is no end
of time.”
“We don’t know that.”
“Okay then, till the end of time, I love you.”
“I love you more.” Joey said, quickly hanging up the phone so
Gabriella couldn't protest.

When Gabriella got off the phone with Joey, she was
unsure what she would prepare for dinner. She did tell him
something special, but she had no thoughts in her head. She
looked through her mother’s recipe box, finding a recipe for a
broccoli and cheese quiche. Gabriella had never made it before,
and could only remembered having it for dinner a few times while
growing up. She wrote down all the ingredients she needed on a
grocery list, and then looked back through her mothers recipe box,
finding a few other recipes she hadn’t yet made before that she
wanted to try to make for Joey in the upcoming week. She then
wrote down those ingredients too, also writing down the
ingredients to her mother’s cheese cake, wanting a little more,
something extra special for Joey tonight.

Gabriella put love and care into her cooking, and when she
was through making the quiche she took a look at it, thinking it
looked like it came out all right. She herself couldn’t wait to taste
it, it smelled so good, and she knew Joey would love to try it also.
Gabriella then whipped up her mother’s cheesecake recipe, putting
it in the oven so it would be ready just in time for her parents to
use the kitchen.

When Joey got home, Gabriella was in the kitchen wearing
her pink dress with orange flowers, the dress she had worn the
night they went to star bucks‘. She had on a cute apron she had
purchased at the grocery store, that read, ‘kiss the chef.’ Gabriella
giggled to herself when she bought it, knowing Joey would love to
kiss her.

When Joey walked into the kitchen, his taste buds starting
to dance, smelling something delicious. He had no clue what it
could be though.
“What’s cooking?” Joey asked, as Gabriella turned around Joey
started to laugh. “I’d love to kiss this chef.” He said, leaning
Gabriella down and kissing her.

When Joey lifted Gabriella back up, she was giggling. Joey
looked into her eyes as he was smiling, Gabriella was also
smiling. Joey let his eyes naturally light up, as Gabriella’s eyes
followed, lighting up too.
“You always kiss this chef!” Gabriella announced.
“Did you buy this with my money?”
“I sure did. I also bought a really cute one, but you don’t get to see
that until tomorrow.”
“Can’t wait.” Joey said, as they both heard his stomach start to
rumble.
“Oh you’re hungry. Well I have perfect timing.” Gabriella said,
sticking a toothpick into her quiche and then turning off the oven.

Gabriella placed the quiche on the table, and Joey’s mouth
dropped, starting to water.
“You made this?”
“From scratch.”
“Wow. That is special.” Joey said, while Gabriella was cutting up
a piece for him, and placing it on his plate.

Gabriella waited a moment for Joey to try his food before
she cut her own piece, while feeling a bit nervous. “Yum.” Joey
said, after taking his first bite.
“Really?”
“Well I wouldn’t lie. Try it yourself.” Joey said, cutting Gabriella
a piece, and placing it on her plate.
“Okay here it goes.” Gabriella said, tasting her quiche. “Yum. It is
good.”

Joey went back for seconds and then thirds. He wanted a
fourth piece, but Gabriella warned him to save room for dessert.
Joey was baffled Gabriella had made dessert too, but told her he
wanted to take a quick shower before she brought the dessert out.

When Joey got out of the shower, Gabriella couldn’t
control herself, when Joey shook the water from his head, giving
Gabriella an, ‘I want you’ look. Gabriella undressed herself as she
caught Joey’s eyes, and wouldn’t let them leave hers.
“What are you doing?” Joey finally asked, breaking the stare.
“You’re handsome.”
“So?” Joey asked, already knowing he was handsome.
“You’re sexy.”
“So?”
“You’re hot.”
“So?” Joey tried to say, while laughing
“So, I want you.”
“You want babies with me?” Joey asked, taking a step closer to
Gabriella.
“Maybe.”
“Oh you want my babies.”
“Someday.”
“I’ll take that.” Joey said, taking a hold of Gabriella and playing
out her fantasies for her.

Joey and Gabriella fell asleep, soon after Joey turned on his
charm for Gabriella, in the bedroom. Gabriella felt like she was
the co-star to the leading man in a holly wood movie.

On Wednesday morning, Gabriella fed Joey cheesecake for
breakfast, and sent him to work with leftover quiche.
At work, Joey couldn’t shake how amazing things were
going with he and Gabriella. Joey decided to grab one of his coworkers, and drive over to his apartment. They loaded Joey’s
living room furniture into Joey’s work truck, and drove it straight
to the house he was building for Gabriella.
When Joey got back, all the other workers were still outside
on break. They all made comments on why Joey was moving
furniture in. Joey told them that he was planning on buying the
house for his future wife. Joey and his worker dropped the
furniture in the family room, and Joey was indecisive on how to
arrange the furniture. Joey had a few of his workers rearrange the
furniture, till he was pleased with where it was placed. When they
were through, the workers headed back to work, but Joey stayed
and fantasized about what it would be like one day in this room, to
watch Gabriella care for his baby. The thought was shook from
Joey’s head when Gabriella had called his phone.
“You didn’t call.” Gabriella said, in a cute voice.
“I’m sorry. I was doing something special for you.”
“Oh yeah, another surprise that I never get to see.” Gabriella said,
playfully, showing her patience.
“Am I not worth it?”
“You sure are. See you tonight.” Gabriella said, in respect to the
time being past Joey's lunch hour.
“I’m dreaming about it.”
When Joey got home that night, Gabriella was in the
kitchen wearing another dress, and her other new apron. Her dress
was a purple tube top, tight and fitted to her body. The apron was
green, with red roses, and was also form fitting to her curves. The
apron was ruffled, and a tad on the fancy side, causing Joey to
think she was too cute in her dress and apron, playing his house
wife. He couldn’t help but tease her a little.
“You think you look cute don’t you?” Joey said, making his
presence known in the kitchen.
“Hey.” Gabriella said, offend. She did think she looked awfully
cute.
“Oh Lucy, I’m home.”
“You’re not funny. I look nothing like her.”
“Oh I’m just teasing. I can’t believe how cute you are.”
“You mean it?” Gabriella said, with her lips pouting.
“I mean it.” Joey said, giving her pouting lips a kiss.
“You never told me I was cute last night.” Joey said, giving his
irresistible, cute puppy face.
“You weren’t cute last night. You were handsome, hot and sexy.”
“Not cute?” Joey said, pushing his puppy dog face.
“Oh your cute Joe.” Gabriella said, assuring him he had it all.
When they were through with dinner, Gabriella bothered
Joey with details of the wedding. Joey liked the idea of asking his
brother’s son to be his ring bearer. Gabriella had already asked for
her cousins daughter to be their flower girl, and asked Joey when
she should make an appointment for all the men to get fitted for
their tuxes. Joey promised to get back to Gabriella on when
tomorrow.
Gabriella then asked if Joey had preference in flowers, what
he wanted their wedding song to be, if he wanted a band or a Dee
Jay, and Joey was more then happy to help plan the details of the
wedding with Gabriella. Gabriella wrote down all the details her
and Joey decided on, on little notes to herself, along with things
she needed to get done, and when they needed to be done by.
When it was time for bed, Joey started to get naked, and
Gabriella began laughing.
“Are we having sex every night?”
“For the rest of our lives.” Joey assured her. Joey left no time for
words as he scooped Gabriella up into his arms, kissing her with
passion, and desire. He loved being inside of her, he felt she was
perfect for him, Gabriella herself had no objections in keeping
their love life thriving.
