1 cup honey

8 lemons, juiced

  1. Place half the water in a large saucepan and heat over medium heat. Add the honey and continue to heat until honey is completely dissolved.
  2. Pour the honey water and remaining water into a large jar and add the juice from the lemons. Stir well and chill. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Sleepytime Tea

When you or your child need help settling at the end of the day, this is a wonderful, calming blend to help you relax and let the day slowly melt away.

  1. Combine chamomile, valerian, and mint in a bowl and stir to mix well.
  2. Store in an airtight container for up to one year.
  3. Brew by placing 1 tablespoon of tea in a reusable tea bag and placing the tea bag in a cup. Fill the cup with freshly boiled water. Steep for 4–6 minutes; then remove tea.
North African Mint Tea

Typically, Moroccan mint tea has just mint and green tea, but this is a jazzed-up version that—ironically—can be more calming. If you want a simpler version, just mix the peppermint and green tea.

20 black peppercorns

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to mix well.
  2. Store in an airtight container for up to one year.

Sniffles 9-1-1
