Just a few weeks before MPAC’s report was released, it held a teleconference with the Center for American Progress and another longtime liberal bastion, the Southern Poverty Law Center, to discuss “The Real World Impact of Hate Rhetoric in America.”

Or, as I refer to it: “The Dangerous Impact that Patriotic, Anti-Jihad Truth Tellers Are Having on Islamo-leftist Efforts to Fundamentally Transform America.”
America talks about truth, justice, and the American way and most Americans think they are the nicest people and greatest nation in the history of the world yet your government and military have for more than 230 years been one of the world’s foremost and most prolific liars as well as one of its most unjust regimes and one of the greatest violators of America’s professed values.
Today, as well as yesterday, America’s armed forces engage in mass casualty aerial bombing much of which is now fully automated as if you are dealing with money transfers and not matters of life and death. And much of which depends on so-called intelligence from satellites and spy planes which sorry to say don’t distinguish between friend, foe, and innocent bystander, in the same way that white phosphorus and depleted uranium also pick their victims indiscriminately.
Today, as yesterday, America’s homesick, half-mad soldiers rape, pillage, and murder then plant weapons and fabricate reports to cover up their evil deeds.
And today, more than ever before America’s military and intelligence services are guilty of the most atrocious forms of torture and unlawful and arbitrary detention of innocents in Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo, and elsewhere, including on American soil.

Who said it? Was it Bill Ayers? Noam Chomsky? Sean Penn? A Castro brother? Perhaps an Occupy Wall Street leader in Zuccotti Park? Try Adam Gadahn—also known as Azzam the American—al-Qaeda’s chief English-language propagandist, making an obvious rhetorical appeal to America’s leftists. Just as the Aytaollah Khomeini accepted communist and socialist support in the 1979 Iranian revolution against the Shah before turning on them with executions and mass arrests, so too do Islamists see western leftists as allies of convenience, useful idiots, to help take down America and the West.
The Left believes it can utilize the Islamists—yet another aggrieved minority—as foot soldiers to help hammer away at the hated Judeo-Christian, capitalist power structure, but really has very little idea who it is getting in bed with—not that it cares. The Left is now winning—decisively—in virtually all facets of American life, and their man is in the White House.
The Muslim Brotherhood and their ilk know that without their collaboration with the Left, and without the protection they receive from Democrats who treat them as just another minority interest group, they would be far less powerful. The Brothers also know that if they ultimately succeed and are in a position to impose sharia, the Left will dutifully fall in line.
CONCLUSION

A BROTHERHOOD WORLD

A
merica is losing the great civilizational struggle of our time. As we’ve seen throughout this book, the Brotherhood’s “Civilization Jihad” strategy is being used with increasing success in the United States—and with the full participation and support of the Obama administration and its leftist allies. And really, that gets to the heart of the matter. While both the Clinton and Bush administrations frequently embraced Brotherhood front groups, the Obama White House is empowering them to a degree that would have been unimaginable just a few years ago, even granting them a say in counterterrorism and Middle East policymaking.
The Obama administration has also thrown the gates wide open to unchecked Muslim immigration (not to mention Muslims on student visas) that is changing the face of even small towns in the American heartland and the Bible Belt. At the same time, mosque-building continues at a breathtaking pace, with the full backing and protection of the Obama Department of Justice. In addition, while Islamic terror plots are hatched with alarming regularity by American citizens, the U.S. government doggedly refuses to even associate Islam with terrorism or utter the word “jihad,” except to praise it as a form of New Age-y spiritual cleansing.
Witness President Obama’s reaction to the April 2013 Boston bombings : initially, he neglected to call the bombing terrorism, and then he steadfastly avoided mentioning the Islamist motivations of the bombers.

Move along folks, nothing to see here: just two lone wolves, no larger jihadist threat. Obama’s media minions, after openly hoping that the Boston bombers were American-born, white, right-wing, anti-government extremists, quickly fell into line with the administration’s “See No Islam” narrative once the terrorists’ obvious jihadist intentions emerged. The ever-shameless
New York Times
ran a piece twelve days after the attacks questioning whether Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s failed boxing career was what led him on the path to Islamic jihad—anything but Islam itself.

The Tsarnaev brothers’ attendance at a Muslim Brotherhood–linked mosque brings up an interesting point. As we’ve seen throughout this book, perpetrators of Islamic terrorism—not only in the United States but around the world—are frequently inspired by the teachings of Muslim Brotherhood ideologues like Hassan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb. The MB’s totalitarian ideology and teachings on violent jihad have long served as the prime gateway for Islamists, whether they’re of the stealth or violent variety.
Nowhere is that seen more clearly today than in the Middle East and North Africa, two regions where, if the Brotherhood itself doesn’t get you (usually through the ballot box), al-Qaeda jihadists waving copies of Qutb’s

will. The dominoes are falling so fast in the Islamist direction throughout the Muslim world that some form of a renewed caliphate, or at least, some kind of regional emirate, feels inevitable. From the Muslim Brotherhood to al-Qaeda to Turkey’s Justice and Development Party to Iran’s ayatollahs, there is certainly no shortage of influential actors pining to unite the Muslim ummah into one powerful entity with first, Israel, and then, the West, in its line of fire.
For example, Egypt and Iran, after decades of zero diplomatic relations, are now rapidly warming to each other in the post-Mubarak era. Serious theological and geopolitical differences obviously still exist between the two countries, but the immediate prospect of eliminating Israel, raising the price of world oil, and menacing the West should be enough to bridge the Sunni/Shia divide, at least for a short while.
What is definite is that war is coming to the Middle East and may already be at hand by the time you read this. The trigger will almost certainly be Iran, in some form or fashion—either through its nascent nuclear weapons program, its continued pursuit of state-supported terrorism, its possible activation of its proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas, against Israel, or its decision to escalate the civil war in Syria, where it is now largely directing the Assad forces. Whatever the cause, cataclysmic events will be unfolding in the Middle East—likely sooner rather than later—that will make you forget all about domestic political squabbles in the United States.
From its open support of the Muslim Brotherhood (both at home and abroad) and the so-called Arab Spring, to its refusal to acknowledge the Islamist enemy, to its appeasement of the Iranian regime, to its isolation of Israel, the Obama administration has been playing with fire for some time—and the United States is very close to being burnt in a serious way as a result. The Obama administration believes it can “flip” die-hard, revolutionary Islamists like Egypt’s president, Mohammed Morsi, into American allies; it believes it can entrust Islamists like him to achieve peace in the Middle East; and it believes it can win the support of the Muslim Brotherhood to crack down on al-Qaeda. But the responsibility of governing will not moderate the committed ideologues of the Muslim Brotherhood, just as it did not moderate the Taliban, Iran’s mullahs, or the MB’s Palestinian branch, Hamas.
Take a good look at Brussels and Londonistan—where, as I write this, Londoners are reeling after two Islamic jihadists shouting “Allahu Akbar” beheaded a British soldier in broad daylight. The stakes are that high and the hour is getting that late. Events are unfolding in the Middle East and in America’s own backyard at a pace that is almost too rapid to follow. To turn the tide, America must, for starters:
• Ban all Muslim Brotherhood–related groups currently operating on U.S. soil. As we saw in the MB’s Explanatory Memorandum, these organizations possess a clearly seditious agenda that is a threat to America’s national security.
• Impose a moratorium on Muslim immigration and student visas for the foreseeable future.
• Closely scrutinize the funding sources and ideology of any proposed new mosque. This can be done at the local level, barring federal interference. Any trace of Islamist funding, anti-Semitic inclinations, or Brotherhood influence must be a deal-breaker.
• Withdraw financial support from Islamist regimes around the world, beginning with Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood is an avowed enemy of the United States, and its ruling regimes, in Egypt and elsewhere, should not receive one American cent or U.S. military aid. Period.
• Hold the Islamist regime in Turkey accountable for its radical words and actions. Turkey, under Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has expansionist, sharia-fueled aims and fiercely anti-Israel leanings that will eventually bring it into conflict with U.S. interests. In some cases, it already has (as in the Erdogan government’s refusal to allow U.S. troops to operate out of Turkey—a fellow NATO country—in the run-up to the 2003 Iraq invasion).
• Ensure, by any means necessary, that Iran never develops a nuclear weapon.
• Work for regime change in Iran, which is the source of much of the world’s Islamic terror. As we saw with the Reagan administration’s support of pro-democracy forces in Poland during the 1980s, working for regime change does not have to include military action.
• Stand publicly, proudly, and forcefully with the Jewish State of Israel—the Middle East’s only democracy—against the Islamists.
• Support genuine Muslim moderates—while recognizing their limitations and difficult position. Not every mosque is a terror hotbed nor, obviously, is every Muslim a terrorist. I’ve worked with courageous moderate Muslims who fervently oppose the Brotherhood’s totalitarian Islamism. Many of them are “cultural Muslims” who were raised Muslim but are not very observant. They are allies because they want to remain sharia-free. Unfortunately, if the so-called Arab Spring has proven anything, it’s that casual, cultural Muslims are on the run and Koran-waving, Islamic fundamentalists are on the rise. Many moderate Muslims are unwilling to go public (remember that big “Muslims against Terrorism” march on the Mall in Washington, D.C.? Me neither). And their post-modern, Islam-lite is a very tough sell in a large majority of American mosques where Muslim Brothers are the gatekeepers.
I realize the above policy prescriptions will send the Democrat Party, the mainstream media, Islamist pressure groups like CAIR, and the weak-kneed GOP establishment into an absolute tizzy. But let’s face it: even without Dr. Stakelbeck’s prescriptions, the mere existence of this book would have been enough to spark cries of “Islamophobe,” “racist,” “bigot,” “alarmist,” “Christianist,” and “right-wing nut job” from the usual quarters until the end of my days. I knew that going in, and as you might have guessed after reading the first few chapters, I could not care less.
I’m just thirty-seven years old, yet the America I grew up in is fading away before my eyes. For the sake of the country and my children, I refuse to be silent. We are entering dangerous times, and I would rather tell the truth boldly, while I still have the platform, and leave all the consequences to God. I believe that the United States is the greatest nation in the history of the world, a gift from God above, and eminently worth fighting for. I also believe that there are millions more Americans who feel the same way as I do: watchmen and women on the wall who will proclaim the truth, without concerns over political correctness or hurt feelings, until their last breath. If the long battle against Islamism is to be won, it will be won by what we, as concerned American citizens, do. Our government and the mainstream media have checked out almost completely, and in many cases are running interference for the enemy. Needless to say, thank God for the internet and the rise of alternative media.
