Tessa stared across the
table at Memphis, his mocha colored skin was stretched tensely across his
overly muscled shoulders, but a look of calm normality was glued in place.

His appearance, as usual,
was in complete contradiction of itself. While his body was chiseled, every
inch of him covered in hard black muscle, his face was sweet and friendly, his
cheeks even dimpled when you got a true smile out of him. Though he dressed
like a high ranking member of the military with black BDUs, muscle shirt and
spit-shined combat boots, his hair was almost waist length and styled in beautiful
dreadlocks.  They weren’t your stereotypical dirty dreads, no these were
taken care of with precise gentle hands,
they
were
washed and cared for, nurtured even.

She couldn’t help staring
at Memphis a little more than was necessary, he was just so gorgeous. Then
again so was Sebastian, the only vampire in the house and the owner/establisher
of the shelter.

 In fact Tessa had yet
to see someone in the Breed that wasn’t attractive.

Sebastian had explained
that once you ingest Breed blood it ‘perfects’ all your human flaws. You no
longer get pimples or blemishes, your body doesn’t keep an over excess of fat
stored, no cellulite; it even cures any diseases you carry. They could go weeks
without food and rest, only continuing to eat and sleep daily out of habit.
They were the human form sharpened to perfection.

Perfect if you disregarded
the side effects of it, like vampires needing blood and not being able to enter
the sunlight, and werewolves’ changing form whenever they felt strong
passionate feelings.

Sebastian was the last to
join them all at breakfast.

She could sense he was in
the room before she laid eyes on him, they all could.  He held such a
dominating and commanding presence there was no way even the most narrow minded
human could believe he was a ‘normal’ person. From the second Tessa had laid
eyes on him she knew he had to be Breed.

His body was sleek and
sexy.  While Memphis looked like a body builder, with his overly broad
back and thick muscles, Sebastian looked like a martial artist. His movements
were smooth and graceful, but powerful. His straight jet black hair was pulled
into a soft pony tail at the nape of his neck with wisps of it breaking free of
the band and framing his hard angular features.

His eyes, while being the
most attractive part of him, were what scared Tessa most about him; they were
an impossibly crisp green, covered in thick black lashes, and filled with a chilling
coldness.

Tessa knew however that no
matter how cold hearted he seemed to be, Sebastian had to have kindness in him
somewhere. He had turned his own mansion into this shelter over one hundred and
fifty years ago, being the first of the Breed to do such a thing.  In a
time when they avoided and even loathed humans he had welcomed them into his
home with open arms if they had been affected by the Breed and needed help.

Sebastian nodded curtly at
them all as he entered the kitchen then sat next to Tessa, his rigidly stiff
posture in complete contrast to her laid back slouch.

They ate breakfast in
silence, the only noise coming from Memphis’ as he wolfed down his food, eating
three portions of everything.

 “Look girls we’ve got
to hit the road…”Jack quickly planted a kiss on Tessa’s forehead, clearly
unable to stand the awkward meal any longer.

She knew saying goodbye to
her mother would be the hardest, but thankfully with Sebastian still in the
room Annie kept things short and sweet. She even managed not to cry.

Once Tessa watched them
drive away, she walked back into the house feeling deflated. She wanted to be
happy that they were going to look for her brother, she knew that if things
went well in California they would be one step closer to being a family again,
but she couldn’t push away her lonely empty feelings.

Sebastian stood in the
living room, away from the open door, waiting for her.

“They left,” she informed
him, not even bothering to try and cover up the flatness in her voice.

He nodded, then turned and
headed up the second staircase and to his section of the house. He had an
entire wing of the mansion to himself, he hadn’t expressly forbid any of them
from going into it, but then again he really didn’t have to. Tessa couldn’t see
anyone going up there for any reason.

Standing alone in the
kitchen Tessa sighed to
herself
, and settled down to
the task of washing the dishes and trying to distract herself from her own
thoughts.

~

Casstiel knew he was having
the dream
again,
he had had it so many times over the
past six years that it had become a second reality to him.

This time he was in some
sort of a forest, on a vividly sunny day.

Dreams were the only time
he could be in the sun.

He closed his vividly blue
eyes and concentrated, listening for her. After a few seconds he finally picked
up her scent.

 In the distance he
could hear her running full speed, could hear her breath rushing in and out of
her lungs.

It took him less than a
second to pinpoint her direction and he was off running after her.

His olive skin glowed in
the sun light, he could almost feel the UV rays warming him as his muscles
stretched and bunched as he pushed them.

He was close
now,
he could feel her heart beating.

Almost
there.

He finally saw her, dark
red curls billowing out behind her as she ran as fast as she could. The jeans
she was wearing gripped her tightly with every stride she took, her sneakers
slapping the soft ground.

“Wait!” he called to her,
“Just stop running! You know I’m going to catch you.”

She took one look behind
herself and immediately picked up speed. If she had been real her legs would
have given out from the stress she was putting on them.

“Time to end this,” he
muttered and with a burst of speed he was in front of her, his hard body
blocking her path before she had even blinked.

She stopped abruptly,
almost falling over, and stared at him like a deer in headlights.

Casstiel gave her his
sexiest grin, “I told you there’s no point in running Red.”

Though tall for a human
woman, she was at least six inches shorter than him. She was thin, but standing
beside the length and width of his body, she looked positively tiny.

She whipped around and made
to run again, but there was a tree not even three feet in front of her. She was
trapped with him, just like every time.

When she didn’t turn around
or make another break to run he began to slowly saunter over to her, letting
the shadow of his body fall across her back.

He knew where the dream
would go now.

When he was within a foot
of her he reached out and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her to
him. Immediately his mouth went to her neck, kissing her hotly.

Her skin was soft and
velvety smooth beneath his lips, and he loved the taste of her.

His stiff erection slammed
into her ass, causing her to moan and grind against it.

“Why do you always run from
me?” He growled in her ear as his hands inched their way up her flat belly.

He should take things slow,
make her wait for it, but he knew he couldn’t control himself long enough. Not
when the dream could end at any moment.

She didn’t answer him, just
raked her finger nails against his jeans clad thighs.

“Tell me your name,” he
demanded, his breath hot on her ear as he worshiped the soft mounds of flesh
beneath his hands.

She gasped and reached her
hand back to run her fingers through his thick black hair, but didn’t answer
him.

It was always a cat and
mouse game with her. She would run from him, fight him with everything she had,
then
seduce him more provocatively than any other
female ever had.

 “Answer me Red,” his
voice breaking with lust.

“No,” she moaned out,
grinding against him harder than ever, teasing him in the way only she could.

He grabbed her by the
shoulders and pulled her around to face him.

“Why do we go through this
every time? I know you want this,” Casstiel growled at her, his hot breath
sawing in and out of his lungs.

“I do want this,” she
stated simply and pressed her mouth up to his feverishly.

He kissed her hard, wanting
her to know how much he wanted her, to drown in it.

These games were something
he would only tolerate in his dreams. In reality women practically threw
themselves at his feet, and that’s the way Cass wanted it.  He liked his
ladies fast and easy. This dream was the only time in his life he would ever
chase after a woman.

He knew it was ridiculous,
but something about her kept him running after her, kept him guessing about
her. He wanted to catch her, to capture her.

He burned for her to be his.

Grabbing the bottom of her shirt
he quickly pulled it over her head breaking their kiss on a gasp of air. As
always in his dreams she wasn’t wearing a bra, and he knew once he took off her
jeans she wouldn’t be wearing panties either.

 After he had lifted
her shirt completely off of her body, he stopped for a moment to drink in the
sight of her.

Her lips were swollen from
his kisses, a thin sheen of sweat covered her body making her peach skin
glisten, and her breasts heaved with every breath she took. Her long curly hair
fell in waves around her body making her look wild and wanton, and when she
looked up at him there was pure animal lust in her dark green eyes.

God damn she was the
perfect woman.

His
perfect woman.

“I like when you look at me
Casstiel,” she whispered, purring his name.

Her hands swiftly went to
her jeans button, and within the blink of an eye they were off and on the
ground.

He growled at how lustful
she became once he cornered her.

There was no fear or
hesitation in her eyes as she stood completely naked for him. She bared herself
to him in a way no other woman ever had.

He had seen literally
thousands of naked women over the 300 years he had been alive, but no woman was
ever as beautiful as Red.

Her skin was the softest
peach, her limbs long and willowy, with the tinniest hints of muscles
underneath. Her breasts were smaller than that of the women he would take from
the bars, but for some reason he always preferred hers.

He preferred everything
about her. Loved how she was such a contrast to the stick thin, spray tanned,
unrealistically big breasted sex kittens that he usually slept with.

“I want to touch you,”
Casstiel commanded holding out his hand to her. When she took it, he led her to
a soft looking clearing of grass and laid her down.

Kissing her deeply, one
hand tangled itself into her curls and one hand dipped lower to her breast. She
let out a sharp gasp of breath as he took her nipple between his fingers.

His tongue explored the hot
cavern of her mouth as he worked her breasts for slow, agonizing minutes. He
loved the feel of them, so soft and creamy under his hard calloused hands.

She was so soft against all
his hardness, so smooth against all his roughness.

She began rocking her hips,
matching the rhythm of his probing tongue and massaging hands. He knew what she
wanted but he would make her wait for it, would make her burn for it.

He ran the pad of this
thumb over her tight nipple, the motion of his caress slow and sensual.

He knew he was winding her
up tight and he loved it.

When she couldn’t take it
anymore she grabbed his hand and led it down between her legs.

Casstiel lightly brushed
his fingers across the insides of her thighs, causing her to quiver,
then
slowly traced a pattern up from her knee, carefully
avoiding the place she wanted him to touch.

She squirmed underneath
him, her body pleading. He chuckled low in his
throat,
there was no greater pleasure in his life than watching her body ache for him.
He wanted to touch and tease her for hours never moving from between her
thighs.

 “Casstiel please….”
She moaned, breaking his kiss.

His resolve weakened with
the raspy sound of her voice. He could never say no to her.

Immediately his finger slid
over her hot wet clit. Her body shivered and she let out a satisfied sigh.

He growled when he found
she was so wet for him. The fact that she wanted
him,
wanted him filling and stretching her, made his pride roar.

When her leg muscles
twitched, he quickened his pace. She was so sensitive, so easily
pleasurable,
he wanted to push her farther, harder.
