He walked her to the door and as she turned to go inside the house, he took the opportunity to kiss her. As their lips met, Samir could feel what his father felt the day he met his mother and knew that in one date this was the girl for him. He wasn’t looking for a woman
, but in the midst of all the bullshit he found something sweet to add to his bitter lifestyle.

“Make sure you call me in the morning babe, I
wanna see you tomorrow, okay?” He said, as she walked inside the house.

“Ok
ay. I will.”

“Promise
?”

“I promise.”

Samir was on cloud nine when he walked back to his car. He sat in the driver seat thinking about all the things he wanted to do with her and for her. She made him forget all about the headache of running a million dollar empire. She was the breath of fresh air that he needed. The peace he needed in the midst of his hectic world. But his high was short lived when his phone rang.

Yo, Mek whats up, Joe?”

“Where the fuck you been nigga
, I been calling you for three fucking hours.” Meko snapped.

“I had a date
, you already knew that. Whats up?”

“Meet me on
fifty first street, we got a little surprise for you.”

“What is it nigga
, we aint bitches.”

“I got that nigga Kyle on a platter.”

Those words were like music to Samir’s ears. He snapped out of his blissful moment and was snapped back to reality. And reality was, he was the leader of The Black Corleones and he had to make sure what Kyle tried to do would never happen again in his young dope boy career.

Samir did 90
miles per hour on I-57 to get to his location. The night couldn’t have gone any better. Finding Kyle in this short amount of time would most certainly send a message that The Corleones were not to be fucked with.

When
he pulled up on the block, he noticed his crew standing outside of an abandoned house. Judging from the location, he knew that Meko had something crazy planned for Kyle.

“So, where is this nigga?” Samir asked
, walking toward his crew.

With a sinister grin on his face,
Meko lead Samir and the rest of his crew into the basement of this abandoned house. When they got there, there he was.

Meko
had Kyle and his right hand man hanging from the ceiling by their wrists, butt ass naked. Samir canvassed the room and noticed Carlos and another one of Meko’s crew members with open wires that were plugged into the wall. Meko started his torture before the rest of the Corleones had arrived. The smell of death was thick in the air and none of the Corleones felt bad about what was happening.

Samir walked up to Kyle and
glanced over the condition of his body. He slapped Kyle’s face to wake him for his unconsciousness. Kyle jumped as if his soul was escaping his body. His eyes locked with an angry Samir. He knew he wasn’t looking into the eyes of a normal, calm Samir. He realized at the very moment that he was looking into the eyes of the grim reaper. He knew he was facing death, but he wasn’t about to show Samir or any of the Corleones any type of respect, even though they had the upper hand.

“You thought it was a good
idea to run up in my spot and steal from me as if I
wouldn’t find you huh?” Samir asked, in very calm voice.

“Nigga
, fuck you and your spots, you niggas aint shit. Fucking kill me, what the fuck you waiting for, my nigga.”

“Kill you? Come on my nigga that would be too easy. Put a bullet in you and let you go out that easy, na
h… I got something better in mind for you.” Samir responded.
