“So you’re
happy?” Jake asked.
“Happy and
exhausted.”
“I’ll second
that exhausted part,” Patrick said. “I think I’ll hit the sack.”
“That’s a
good idea.” Amanda straightened her legs and stretched her arms over her head.
“I’ll probably sleep ‘til noon tomorrow.”
“Not if you
keep flashing those gorgeous breasts at us, you won’t,” Jake said with a wicked
leer.
“You can’t
possibly
be thinking of more sex.”
“I can
think
.
I’m not promising I can
do
anything.”
Patrick
chuckled. “That goes for me too.” He picked up his empty wine glass. “Before I
go to bed, cuz, I have a request.”
“Shoot.”
“I want you
and Amanda to come to the lodge this winter. I’m really proud of all I’ve
accomplished and I want you to see it. We’ve talked about it a lot of times,
but you’ve never made the trip. This time I want your promise you’ll be there.”
“You got it.”
Patrick gazed
at Amanda. “Maybe we can fulfill a fantasy of mine next time.”
“Which is?”
she asked.
He gave her a
devilish grin. “You’ll just have to wait and see.”
A threesome
was supposed to be a one-time thing, a fantasy only. She loved her husband
fiercely and didn’t need another man in her life, or her bed.
A ski lodge,
a hot tub, a fireplace…the possibilities were endless.
Amanda
smiled. “Well, I have always wanted to learn to snow ski…”

town in Texas close to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Writing has been in her
blood since she was eight years old and wrote her first “story” for an English
assignment.
As well as writing at every possible

on the computer. She’s a software junky and loves to try out new programs,
especially anything to do with graphics.
After living on the West Coast for 21
years, Lynn now lives 17 miles from her hometown in Texas. She’s a romantic at
heart and can’t imagine ever writing anything but romances. A full-time writer,
she spends her days creating stories of people who find their happily ever after,
sometimes with the help of an alien or psychic or vampire.
