Jennifer was listening, but she couldn’t help but be bummed out.

“What’s the matter?” he asked intuitively.

“Well, if you live in Parshall and I live in New City, that’s quite a drive back and forth to play Bucket List,” she said, feeling a pouting spell coming on.

His hold on her got warmer and cuddlier. “I don’t know if you know this about bikers, of which I am one. We like to ride. I knew what you wanted when we chatted at the bar. I wouldn’t be here to leave you hangin’. I wanna play Bucket List with you. I’m making one of my own. And you are all over it. Like all…over…it.”

Chapter Three

When Jennifer opened her eyes in the morning and saw and felt the sleeping gorgeous giant next to her, she smiled. Her wonderful children were at her folks’ house for a visit. She probably should go in the office, but now that she had Trenton she was thinking she could just bring him along to help her…later. Not right now.

Today the plan was breakfast on the deck in the sun and then a ride. He was going to take her all day, however long it took to travel by motorcycle because she didn’t know, to the state park. Badlands. Might even be an overnighter. She would pack a bag.

She rose and fetched two cups of coffee. She had already had coffee with him once so she knew exactly how he liked it. She stripped down to nothing but a smoking pair of high heels and brought it back to bed for him.

She was really casual about it. She set the cups on the nightstand next to him and murmured good morning, waiting for him to notice. She then crawled over him just to wake him. He said nothing. She felt a pair of very strong hands on her as her torso crossed his path.

He spun her around so that she was on her back.

“Careful,” she warned. And showed him her shoes.

“Nice,” he remarked, and laced her legs, one on each shoulder.

He was hard as steel for her that fast, and drove into her. Her body gave at the feel of him. It was the best feeling in the world, second to coming on him, to have him inside of her. His rhythm was steady and sure. Just when he was about to take her to the top, he slowed. He rolled over on his back and put her on top.

The feel of him this way was hot. He touched her inside everywhere she needed to be touched. When she was with her husband this way, way back when, it felt like total work. With Trenton she was so turned on, she was inspired.

She rolled her hips, putting her whole body into it like a sexy snake. She cupped her breasts as they jiggled with the motion. He reached up and replaced her hand on one breast with his, and gripped her hips with the other.

With her hands free, Jennifer reached behind herself and played with his balls. She kneaded them ever-so-lightly and then raked them with the very tip of her fingernails. She heard him suck in his breath across his teeth.

He rolled her again, firmly placing her square against the mattress. He drove into her with a frenzy until he finished. As they lay motionless, recovering from their moment, Trenton was not about to let her walk away without having found her pleasure.

When he was able, he sat up against the headboard with her between his legs and together they made her come. She pleasured herself as he tormented the tickle spot at the base of her neck. She collapsed against the back of his huge body as wave after wave of bliss washed over her.

Trenton made them egg whites, promising her they would be back before the yolks went bad, and he would make them dessert with them. She actually ate more than she was used to, but he said she would need it. Riding was more than just sitting. It could actually take a lot out of you.

He selected her outfit. She packed some other things, but he made her wear jeans. She had a smoking pair of tight faded jeans. She had the boots and she had a T-shirt. Alas, her leather coats she feared would not work in the heat of the day, but he said she had to wear something.

“It’s not much protection if we have an accident, but it’s something,” he said.

Her eyes went big. “We might have an accident?”

“You do have life insurance, right?” he teased.

Suddenly she was nervous.

“Baby, I would not put either one of us in real danger. I didn’t mean to play with you,” he said.

They saddled up and went to the Better B Café for coffee with some of the Ghosts of the Prairie Motorcycle Club. Trenton sat down in front of an extraordinarily handsome man named Danny White Feather. He was the captain. Apparently, the woman that Jennifer’s husband had promised to hire had found a place in Danny’s heart. They looked awfully cozy.

“We’re thinking of going out to the state park and do some camping,” said Danny.

“That’s where we’re headed. I thought we would ride around in the Badlands. See a few things,” said Trenton.

Danny winked. “Sounds like a plan. We’re all riding together. You can come with or join up with us later.”

“Might do a little of both,” Trenton said, squeezing her hand.

“After that we’ll probably be riding home,” said Danny. “Barring any other excitement in our lives.”

Jennifer squirmed. She knew he was referring to the trouble her husband had caused them. He was not a very popular guy. Nor should he be. He owned a fracking company that was part of the oil boom in North Dakota. The boom went bust and he moved headquarters from Parshall to New City.

One of the reasons the locals despised him so much was that he brought in workers from all around and basically screwed people out of jobs. The locals were not even able to enjoy the riches of the boom, which drove up property values through the roof. Temporarily. Everywhere from Parshall to New City there were half-built homes and buildings – projects that lost their funding when the boom went bust.

“I am sorry about what my husband did to you all,” she said.

“Not your apology to make,” said Danny, looking her square in the eye. “You did right by Penny here. You’re doing right by all of us by handing the Riggers their walking papers. We’re obliged. We want to put our folks back to work.”

“Thanks,” she said, though the whole subject made her sick. She needed air.

Trenton was super intuitive. He rose from the table and tossed some cash down.

“We’ll catch up with you at the park,” he said.

“We’re bringing a couple of trucks with gear. Tents for those who need them,” said Danny.

“Tents are for pussies,” kidded Trenton. “Oops, ‘scuze me ladies.”

Chapter Four

The short trip from her house to the café was one thing, but Trenton and Jennifer planned to be on the road for at least two hours. It was a little scary for her. It gave her a really good excuse to cuddle into him. He made a great windbreak. She loved the way his long hair flipped in the wind.

But she was bothered still by the conversation; even though Danny made it clear that her husband’s actions were not hers. She felt, in part, responsible. Like she should have been aware and done something sooner. As they passed a few empty buildings, it hit home even harder.

Trenton pulled the bike over to a gas station about forty-five minutes into the trip.

“Ya want anything?” he asked her, eyeing her.

He was most definitely giving her a look. He had intuitively picked up that her mood had changed.

“What?” she asked him, trying to deny it.

“You tell me?” he said softly. “Is there something on your mind? Tired? You want to go back?”

“We better not turn back,” Jennifer said insistently.

“So what is it?” he asked.

“Just bummed about my marriage and Brill. I love my children dearly but I wish I never met him,” she said.

“I imagine you are bound to have those feelings. I hope you are clear, none of us holds you accountable for any of Brill Wayland’s shit.”

“I appreciate that, though I don’t think that makes me feel any better,” she said. She could not shake her bad mood.

“What would make you feel better?” he asked. “Haven’t you been punished enough just being married to the guy? Hell, you were fucking love starved.”

Jennifer recoiled. She had to tell herself that Trenton did not mean the remark the way it sounded, but it hit her sideways. She was kind of embarrassed. Like she had been ridiculous in bed. Her husband had even mocked her a few times.

“Oh hey, wow,” he said. “That was not a criticism.”

He wrapped his giant bear arms around her.

“I loved being with you. That was the best night of my life, bar none. I am so sorry for not checking my words first,” he said.

“I’m sorry if I am being a hot house flower,” she said. “I’ll chill out.”

“But you still feel bad?” he asked.

“Yeah, I do. I lived pretty well on Brill Wayland’s crooked ways,” she said.

“You have suffered along with everyone else because of him. But if you think you need to be punished,” he said, and then slipped into a very flirtatious mode, “I’ll spank you.”

Jennifer grinned at the very suggestion. She knew he could tell by her reaction that the idea tantalized her. It happened to be one of the things on her bucket list.

“I have a confession,” she said.

“Yes?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.

“It happens to be one of the things on my bucket list,” she said.

“What’s that?” he asked.

“You’re going to make me say it, aren’t you?” she asked. She burned with a mix of arousal and embarrassment that she was about to confess.

“Yes, I am,” he said with laughter in his voice.

She couldn’t face him when she said it. “It’s on my bucket list to be spanked. Not ridiculous. I am not into S&M.”

“Please look at me,” he said sternly, “when you talk to me.”

She swallowed hard. She knew she had a dopey look on her face when she repeated what she said, word for word.

“See now. If you want something, you just need to ask,” he said.

He took her by the hand.

“Come on,” he said firmly.

“What? Where are we going?” she asked, stutter-stepping to keep up with his pace.

“Let’s get this over with,” he said.

Trenton went inside the mart of the gas station and asked for the restroom key. The clerk eyed him suspiciously because he was holding Jennifer’s hand. Trenton slipped a twenty on the counter. The clerk handed him the key.

They went outside and around the corner to the side of the building, where the bathrooms were. Trenton unlocked the bathroom and drew Jennifer inside with him.

“How lucky are we?” he declared. “This is practically a hotel room.”

The bathroom was clean and extra spacious. He locked the door. Jennifer swallowed hard.

“Are we going to have sex?” she asked, playing difficult. “Wouldn’t you rather have sex with me than spank me?”

“Oh, you know how much I love fucking you. But there are a few things we have to take care of,” he said.

He closed the lid of the john and took a seat. He patted his knee.

“Come here please,” he said.

Trenton was super good at playing the part of the sexy disciplinarian. This could not have played out more perfectly. She did her part and resisted. Jennifer shook her head.

“What?” she asked.

Before she could sidestep him, he reached for her. He twirled her around and got her in place. Then he drew her across his knee.

“Okay,” she said nervously. “Okay.”

“Okay?” he asked her.

He pinned her legs between his and braced the middle of her back with one of his hands. He rubbed her bare buttocks with his other hand.

“Trenton,” she said.

“No?” he asked. “I won’t if you say no. But I think you need it. You trust me?”

“I do,” she said shyly.

“Hold on to my leg and count for me,” he said.

She closed her eyes real tight and breathed. “One,” she said timidly.

He swatted her behind.

“Two,” she said, counting.

“Are you going to feel bad about what Brill Wayland did anymore?”

“No,” she said.

He landed down on her firm hard cheeks.

“Promise?” he asked.

“Yes,” she said.

He gave her another smack.

“Better behave or we will revisit this. Might have to anyway just to keep you in line. Am I clear?” he asked.

“Yes,” she said, her voice higher than usual.

He stood her on her feet. He drew her jeans up to her hips. They were tight so there was some tugging and silliness getting them on. Jennifer started laughing so hard she had to lean over his shoulder as he tried pull her pants up.

“Okay you’re not helping anything,” he said, laughing himself. “Now look at me.”

She tried to get herself together so she could look him in the eye.

“So, how was that?” he asked. “Can we cross that off the bucket list and go to the next one? And let’s make sure to remember this place on the way back. I think we’ll stop in and see how soundproofed the room is,” he said.
