“Commando? Seriously?” Ian looked up with eyes as round as saucers.

“Well, sure.” Cameron smiled, wishing Ian’s attention would return to his erection. “Not at work, of course, but here at home? Knowing you were on your way?”

“Very sexy!” Ian whistled and pulled aside the fabric, wrapping his warm hand around Cameron’s shaft and slowly sliding up and down. “And so considerate!”

Cameron laughed while trying not to thrust. Not yet. He managed to wiggle them into a side-by-side position, enabling them to jack each other off while kissing. That had been the whole point of Ian’s comment, after all. When their lips met this time, Cameron almost came from the intensity of the sensations. His lips dueling with Ian’s, his hands on Ian’s hard cock, Ian’s hand driving him higher and higher—it made for a powerful combination that had Cameron panting for release within minutes. Add the little sounds Ian made every time Cameron tightened his grip a little and the intoxicating smell of their scents mixing as they chased release, and Cameron couldn’t have held back if he’d tried.

He punched into Ian’s tight fist one last time and let go, spurting hot semen between their bodies and making Ian arch his back and follow suit. Cameron shook through his orgasm, shocked at how hard he’d come from “just” a hand job; except there was apparently no “just” about it with Ian as his partner. He tightened his free arm around Ian and held on while he caught his breath. Ian had buried his face in the crook of Cameron’s neck, and Ian’s hot breath on his sensitive skin was almost enough to make Cameron hard again. Almost.

“Fuck that was good.” Ian took a final deep breath and moved his face just far enough so Cameron could see his eyes.

“You can say that again.” Cameron smiled and pushed himself up so he could reach the tissues he’d strategically placed on the end table.

“I’d rather
do
that again.” Ian chuckled as he helped clean up the wonderful mess they had made. “But I think I need some recovery time and some food.”

“I
definitely
need both of those myself.” Cameron carefully put his now soft cock back inside his jeans and zipped up. By the time he was done, so was Ian. “I got some Chinese takeout earlier, is that okay? I thought we could warm it up and catch up while we eat. I know you told me about the competition and how angry your father was before he spoke to the mayor, but I bet there’s more.”

“Sounds great. I mean the food part.” Ian rose, and Cameron followed. “There isn’t really much to talk about in terms of the competition.”

Cameron took the lead as they walked to the kitchen. He pointed at a chair next to the small table he usually ate at and switched on the oven. He’d already put the little white containers with the red Chinese writing in there, and all they needed to do was wait until things were hot.

“So your father thinks he’s won?” Cameron narrowed his eyes as he considered the consequences. “Actually, that is not necessarily a bad thing. He’ll be too busy gloating to notice what you’re up to, right?”

Ian nodded, but it looked hesitant. Cameron figured he’d wait until Ian was ready to say whatever was bothering him and continued the dinner preparations. He got out plates and glasses to set the table while Ian settled in. When he held up a fork in one hand and chopsticks in the other, Ian pointed at the chopsticks. Cameron got a second pair as well as a set of bowls and completed his mission before getting them some water and sitting down.

“You know, now that I think about it, you’re probably right.” Ian nodded and took a sip of his water. “I was sort of angry because I hate going to work now. It’s been like hell on earth all week. My father was arrogant before, but now he’s insufferable. He does believe he singlehandedly got the mayor to change the rules of the competition to suit his need for representing the bakery. He’s been rubbing it in Senga’s and my face at every opportunity.”

“I am sorry about that. I know he’s your father and everything….” Cameron shook his head, focusing on not hitting the table with his fist.

“Oh, don’t hold back on my account. There’s a reason I refer to him as ‘Father’ instead of ‘Dad’ and have done since I was about fifteen. I have almost no emotional connection to him any longer.” Ian sighed. “It’s probably not right, but I needed to protect myself somehow. Referring to him in a more ‘official’ way helped me do that.”

“I’m sorry you had to go through that.” Cameron wished he could take Ian’s pain away and couldn’t help but feel impressed with how well he handled it.

“It is the way it is.” Ian shrugged. “And your point about that making him careless is very true, so that is a good insight.”

“It can only help in the long run.” Cameron leaned back. “But enough about your father. I’d much rather discuss the duffel you brought.”

“Yeah, about that.” Ian grinned. “I hope I wasn’t assuming too much, but I’ve always loved sleepovers.”

“Oh yeah?” Cameron adored the way Ian looked at things.

“Uh-huh.” Ian’s eyes twinkled. “I’ve just never had a
naughty
sleepover, and I’m hoping we can fix that.”

Chapter Eight

CAMERON WAS
still chuckling about the idea of a
naughty
sleepover when they made their way upstairs a few hours later. Ian’s eyelids had begun to droop about halfway through the movie, massive explosions notwithstanding, and considering how early he must have gotten out of bed to be at the bakery by six, Cameron was impressed with how long he’d managed to remain awake. Cameron had already done the downstairs security check to make sure all doors and windows were secure. He was ready for some sleep himself, and even if nothing much happened tonight, considering they’d already come and were both exhausted at the end of the week, he looked forward to holding Ian in his arms all night.

“This is the guest room,” Cameron intoned in his best tour guide voice as he pointed at the closed door to the left. “And the next door down is the bathroom that goes with it.”

“I take it I’ll not be staying there?” Ian blinked, trying to keep his eyes open.

“I certainly hope not.” Cameron mock-frowned. “It would make the logistics of the whole naughty part of this sleepover a lot more difficult.”

“I can see that.” Ian nodded wisely, trying to stay serious, but the twitching corners of his mouth gave him away.

“And to our right, we have the master bedroom, with an incredibly well-equipped bathroom and a separate shower big enough for two.” Cameron waggled his eyebrows as he opened the door, switched on the overhead light, and stepped aside to let a laughing Ian precede him.

“I like the green.” Ian looked around the room and nodded as he took in the king-size bed with its forest-green cover, the dark wood nightstands and dresser on a dark green carpet, the door leading to the walk-in closet, and the slightly ajar door to the en suite bathroom.

“It’s calming, and when everything is cold and white outside, like now, having color in here makes me think of summer.” Cameron shrugged. “The bathroom is in white and blue because those remind me of the ocean. I know I’m weird, but after seven years in the sandy desert of Afghanistan, I needed some color in my life.”

“You’re not weird at all.” Ian dropped his duffel next to the bed and turned around to face Cameron. “I think it’s wonderful you’ve thought about it and were able to make those changes. I can’t do anything in my apartment without the landlord’s approval. And even if I had the time and energy to get that, then do all the decorating, why would I? It’s a temporary place, and I have no idea how long I’ll be staying there. Though at this rate, with everything that’s going on, it may be a while before I can afford something better. My father isn’t exactly going to increase my pay once he finds out what I’m up to. So yeah, I love that you have that control and did something with it.”

Cameron smiled at the vehemence in Ian’s defense. It made him feel understood and accepted, not a situation he was overly familiar with. Ian yawned, then unsuccessfully tried to hide it behind his quickly lifted hand. Time for bed.

“Sorry.”

“You want to go first?” Cameron wasn’t sure they were ready to share everything yet, and he could wait a little.

“Thank you.” Ian bent to retrieve some stuff from his bag, then staggered to the bathroom. If Cameron didn’t know better, he’d suspect Ian was drunk.

Cameron used the time to pull back the bedspread, fluff the pillow, and berate himself for being so domestic all of a sudden. On the other hand, this was a big deal. He’d never shared his bedroom with anyone, and he wanted Ian to like it here. The evening had been a lot of fun, and he hoped they could do it again.

When Ian opened the bathroom door a few minutes later, dressed in shorts and holding a T-shirt, with all his used clothes bundled up under the other arm, Cameron wanted to tackle and kiss him. He only held back because he promised himself he could do as much kissing as he wanted once they were both under the covers. Ian’s smooth chest, his taut stomach, and the thin trail of dark hair starting below his navel, only to vanish under the waistband of his shorts, were pure temptation.

Ian dumped his clothes next to his duffel and stared at his T-shirt for a moment, a little frown creasing his forehead. Then he looked up with a question in his eyes. Cameron shook his head, not vehemently, but hoping he’d be understood. He wanted to feel Ian’s skin against his as much as possible.

Ian grinned and tossed the T-shirt onto the pile before hopping into bed and burrowing under the covers.

Cameron rushed through his evening routine and put on shorts before returning to the bedroom—matching Ian was enough of a compromise versus his normal habit of sleeping in the nude. When Cameron returned to the bedroom, Ian was lying on his side facing the middle of the bed, blankets pulled up to his shoulders, and eyes closed.

Cameron made his way to the bed and switched off the light before crawling in next to Ian. His sleeping partner sighed but kept his eyes closed when Cameron settled in. He wasn’t sure what to do with Ian already more than half-asleep.

“Come here,” Ian mumbled and reached for Cameron. “You’re too far away.”

Cameron grinned and immediately complied. He slid his arm around Ian and pulled him closer. Ian cuddled right in and pressed his face against Cameron’s chest.

“Smell so good.” Ian sighed again. “Best sleepover ever.”

Cameron smiled as he began to relax. Yeah, this felt amazing and was exactly what he’d imagined when dreaming about having a partner by his side. Never mind the fact that they were too tired to put the bed to better use—this was perfect. They could always do all the other things he’d fantasized about once they were both awake again,

“Night, sweetheart.” Cameron kissed Ian’s head.

“Night.” Ian went limp almost immediately, his deep, even breathing like music to Cameron’s ears.

Cameron settled in and slowly drifted off, the man he was beginning to fall for safely in his arms.

And that was pretty much where Cameron found Ian the next morning. Soft winter light came through the blinds, and a glance at the alarm clock confirmed it was just after 8:00 a.m. During the night Ian must have turned, so now his back was to Cameron’s front, his tight ass pressing against Cameron’s groin and ensuring an epic case of morning wood. A little occasional wiggle made sure Cameron knew what had caused the more-than-normal extent of his “problem,” and he grinned when he realized Ian might be awake and doing this on purpose. Maybe it was a new form of wake-up call. Cameron would have to check Ian’s intentions later.

Naughty sleepover indeed!

But two could play that game. Cameron already had his right arm around Ian’s middle, and it would take only minimal movement for his hand to get low enough to check if Ian was in a similar state of arousal. Cameron slowly slid his hand toward Ian’s crotch until he touched the considerable bulge at the front of Ian’s shorts.

Cameron stretched his pinkie and encountered Ian’s erection.
Aha!

Ian moaned quietly and pushed back his ass again, nudging Cameron’s cock and making Cameron bite his lip with the effort to remain totally relaxed and silent.

He moved his pinkie in “retaliation” and got an adorable little sigh in response.

Ian wiggled.

Cameron caressed Ian’s glans through the fabric and got a longer moan this time.

Ian wiggled some more.

Cameron could barely hold back his laughter at this point and wiggled back, pushing his erection up along Ian’s backside.
Damn shorts are in the way!

Ian chuckled and pushed.

Cameron bit his lip and pushed back. That got him a quiet laugh, and he grinned. He’d rarely had so much fun this early in the morning.

“You’re not asleep anymore at all, are you?” Ian’s voice was charmingly sleep rough. He turned his head just far enough to make eye contact.

“Nope.” Cameron kissed Ian’s nose, barely able to reach. “But neither are you.”

“I slept really well, but I’ve been awake for a while, enjoying… this.” Ian wiggled again. “You think we can try this without the damned clothes? I guess I thought it was the right thing to do, you know, wearing something in bed when sharing with someone I haven’t known all that long. But I normally sleep in the nude, and have to say, that makes even more sense with you next to me.”

“Yes! Off with the clothes!” Cameron chuckled at the speed with which they both managed to get rid of the barriers to their morning enjoyment. “I never wear anything in bed either, so this is excellent news.”

Ian scooted back into his old position as soon as the clothes were gone. Cameron made sure his cock moved between Ian’s taut asscheeks for optimal pressure and friction, and moved his hand back to enclose Ian’s hard shaft in his fist. Ian arched his back and pressed his head against Cameron’s shoulder when Cameron started to slowly stroke his cock from bottom to tip.

“So much better.” Ian groaned.

He didn’t stop fucking Cameron’s fist, causing Cameron’s cock to harden further. Things heated up quickly, and between their precome and a bit of sweat, there was enough moisture to keep the friction just this side of too much.
