The lettering was drawn with the dropper and Liquitex acrylic ink, and the background was filled with vibrant watercolor painting.

To create this piece, I applied molding paste to heavy paper and “etched” the word love in the wet mixture. Watercolor painted in the negative space surrounding the word highlights it.
