X is for Xtra special day (okay I've struggled with this one).
Y is for yahoo. The girl is mine. Yeah I know, I'm losing it now.
Z is for zonked out. Which I am now after two wedding ceremonies and a night full of shagging.
So The Alphabet Wedding took place and the Bride and Groom went on to live happily ever after with their daughter Athena and ...

Of course Mrs Stella Gregory's waters couldn't break somewhere like our home, or even the hospital. No. Stella's waters chose to break in the New York Flagship store of Alexander McQueen on Madison Avenue. This was after she spotted a handbag she 'Just had to have.' She arrived at the Maternity Care Unit clutching the handbag like that was the newborn baby. She handed it over to me with the utmost care. I was tempted to ask what she wanted to call it, but no doubt such a prestigious piece already had a name.
Four short hours later and we were blessed with a son. A son who had no name as we had been unable to agree on one.
That was until we asked the Physician who delivered our son what his initial stood for. You guessed it. Alexander.
'That name seems to be calling to us Stella.'
'I know. Another A though.'
'Doesn't have to be. What about Zander?'
'Zander. I love that.' She looks at our son. 'I think you are a Zander aren't you? But Gabe, that's a Z. We'll have an A and a Z.
'Stella. We began and married with the Alphabet. What's one more thing?'
She sighs. 'A girl and a boy. I'm so happy Gabe. We did A to Z. So now you can make sure we have no more little letters, right?'
I put my hand in front of my zipper. 'Zander. Mummy is being cruel.'
He makes a little whimper.
'I know mate. She wants me to take care of my little swimmers.'
'If you take care of those. I'll take care of you.'
I look at my wife. I don't think she could look any more beautiful than she does right now. All messy haired from labour, but glowing with love.
