"Maybe we should behave while Jack is here," Jane whispered to Austin.

"Maybe we should make Jack go away."

"I heard that."

"Good." Austin pressed his lips to her ear. "I don't want to behave. Do you?" His hand slid between her thighs.

She shook her head. He tried to kiss her, but she pulled back, glancing at Jack.

"Just ignore me."

"Okay, Janie, I'll be good... for now." Austin leaned close one more time. "But as soon as I have you all to myself...."

He didn't need to finish that sentence. Under the table, his hands told her everything.

"Um—" Jane stood up. "Excuse me for just one minute." She disappeared toward the restrooms.

***

"Scared her off already?" Jack laughed.

"She'll be back. You need to get lost."

"Yeah, I know. Soon as I finish my fries."

"Don't come back till...."

"Till when?"

"I don't know. Just don't come back."

"What am I supposed to do all night?"

"I'm sure Angie will think of something."

"True." Jack reached for Austin's plate again. "Seriously, are you gonna eat those fries?"

"Take them." Austin pushed the plate across the table as if that would get rid of him faster. He kept watching for Jane.

"You're humming again."

"I don't hum."

Jack laughed. "Whatever." He finished Austin's fries and stood up. "Have a good night."

"Count on it." Austin's smile left no doubt that he planned on having a great night.

Jack headed toward the door then doubled back, looking concerned. "Austin."

"Do I have to throw you out?"

He seemed to hesitate. "Jane isn't like all your other girls. And she's definitely not like Natalie."

"I know. What does that mean?"

"I could tell you, but I think you need to figure it out on your own. Be good to her."

"I will."

Jack nodded and left.

***

Jane washed her hands and splashed cool water on her face, but her skin stayed hot. Her body ached and she felt a little lightheaded. Was she coming down with something?
Yes, idiot, but it's not a virus.

There was no escaping him.

She sighed deeply, leaning on the bathroom counter.
Okay, get over your nerves
. She knew it wouldn't be awkward with him. A hot shiver ran down her spine upon remembering how she'd learned that. She took a deep breath, trying to convince herself this was right. She wanted this. She wanted him.

Uh-oh. Which bra and panties am I wearing?
She peeked down the front of her shirt. Red satin. She felt good in those.

Her reflection stared back from the mirror—eyes bright, cheeks flushed.... Ready.

A mostly confident but slightly scared smile curved her lips. "Are
you
ready for
me
?"

***

Jack had disappeared by the time she got back to the table.

"We got ditched." Austin pulled a chair back and beckoned her.

"I'm sure he has better things to do."

He slid his arm across the back of her chair, caressing her shoulder. "So do we."

"I can imagine." She leaned into him and her hand fell to his thigh.

"Can you? Have you?" Her body said one thing, but her brain might say something else. He didn't want to risk going too far too soon. "I have."

He would explore her imagination later. Right now, he wanted to tell her his evil plans for the rest of the evening. "Do you want to come home with me tonight, Janie?"

She nodded.

"Do you know what that means?"

She looked into his eyes and nodded again.

"Say it."

"Yes."

That was enough for him.

He nearly got a speeding ticket on the way home, but once they got to his apartment, he decided he didn't want to rush. They had all night, and he wanted to savor every minute of it.

***

Jane stood by the front door and scanned the room. The place looked like any guys' apartment, furnished with the necessities and not much else. A well-used couch slumped next to an equally worn recliner in front of a beat up coffee table that appeared to double as a footrest. The kitchen, unexpectedly neat and organized, separated two bedrooms decorated with football memorabilia. She couldn't tell which room Austin slept in, but suspected she'd find out soon enough.

"This is a nice place." She braced a shaky hand against the doorframe, willing her feet to take the first step.

"Thanks."

He took her hand and pulled her into the room, wrapping his strong arms around her and kissing her until the shaking stopped.

She loved the way he kissed her. If that was all he wanted to do to her all night—
Wait, no.
She wanted more than kissing. "Are we alone?"

"We better be." He picked up a football and threw it at Jack's closed door. Nothing happened. "We're alone."

She nodded and looked around again, rubbing her arms.
Standing in Austin Sinclair's apartment. Alone. With
him
—the baddest bad boy on campus. Now what?

He answered as if he'd read her mind. "No more waiting. No interruptions." He held out his hand. "Are you ready for me, Janie?"

She took his hand. "Yes."

He pulled her into his arms again and kissed her, full body contact the way she liked it. He slid his hand into her hair and tipped her head back, exploring her mouth, thrusting with his tongue.

She hadn't known kissing could be so sexual, but Austin was an expert. He did things to her mouth she couldn't wait for him to do to her body.
Why wait?

"I want to see your bedroom."

"There's not much to it, but I'll give you the guided tour." He led her to his room and closed the door behind them. "This is the door, but you don't need to know where that is." He jerked the curtains closed. "Windows. Not important."

Jane looked at the bed, but he seemed not to notice, walking past her to his desk.

"My desk... will not be used tonight... but wait...." He stopped and leaned on it, testing its strength. "Maybe it will."

He winked at her playfully, those sinful blue eyes suggesting things that made her quiver all over again.

He walked toward her, and backed her up against the foot of his bed. "And this," he put his hand on her chest and gave her a gentle push. "This is the bed."

She drew a sharp breath and fell back on the mattress. "I like your bed." She stretched out on it.

"I like it better with you in it." He fell on top of her, catching himself on his hands.

She wanted him to crush her. Jane wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down on top of her, raising her hips to rub against him.

"Whoa, Janie, slow down." Austin pulled up, gasping for breath.

"Why?" She pouted, hoping he couldn't resist that.

He groaned and crushed her into the mattress, kissing her breathless. "No need to rush." His whisper tickled her lips. "I want to enjoy you all night long, Janie."

She couldn't argue with that.

"The first thing I want to do is get you naked." A promising smile touched his lips. "But I'm in no hurry."

She groaned. "Tease."

"Damn right." He nibbled her neck, his hands sliding under the soft green sweater that matched her eyes. "This has to go." He pulled it over her head and tossed it on the floor, exposing the shiny red satin underneath.

He kissed her while she tugged at his shirt, and helped her pull it off and fling it onto the floor.

She stroked his bare chest, her gaze following her fingers as they explored his perfectly sculpted body—every curve, every angle, carved for her pleasure, to see and touch.
To kiss?
She lifted her head and pressed her lips to his chest, slipping her tongue out to taste him—salty and hot. He gasped when her fingers caught his nipple and her lips followed. Her teeth closed on him just enough to feel his pulse throb under her tongue.

Then her fingers touched his ribs, and he laughed. "Remember what happened the last time I tickled you?"

She looked up and trembled as she remembered his hands stroking under her lace panties. "Oh yes."

***

He flashed a wicked grin at her, unzipped her jeans, and yanked them down to her ankles.

She kicked off her shoes, and her jeans hit the wall with a satisfying slap.

Austin sat back on his knees and stared at her. Looking at her was like seeing a woman's body for the first time. She wasn't the first—not by a long shot—but he'd never seen beautiful until Janie. Her breasts, still covered in satin, rose and fell with every quick breath. Her thighs, squeezed tight between his, invited his touch. Her whole body begged for him. How could he refuse?

Oh God, he wanted her so much. Anticipation made him insane for her, and it felt so good.

He crawled on top of her and kissed her, groaning into her mouth as her hands caressed his back. They slid around him to his belt buckle, but she struggled with it again so she pulled his zipper down.

"Looking for trouble, are you?"

"Mm-hmm." She slid her hand into his jeans.

Breathing hard, Austin wrapped his arms around her and rolled over so she was sitting on top of him. If she touched him too much now, he was gonna lose it. He pushed her thighs apart until his erection fit nicely between them. She moaned and ground down on him.

"Yeah I think you found trouble, Janie." He closed his eyes and let her tease him, driving him right to the edge.

When he opened his eyes, he nearly lost control right then. The sight of her riding him in only her red-hot underwear made him ache to get inside her, but he wouldn't rush this. He pulled her down on his chest and kissed her deeply, unhooking her bra and sliding the straps off her shoulders. He sat up with her, his mouth catching her nipples, nipping and sucking as her bra came off, all the while warning himself not to look at her.

He couldn't look at her, but how could he not look at her?

He looked at her.
Oh God....

***

She'd found something, all right. Trouble, maybe. Sin, probably. Raw sexual pleasure—oh hell yes. She twisted her hips, trying to feel as much of him as she could. He'd told her not to rush, and she was trying to be patient, but whoever had said patience was a virtue never had to deal with Austin Sinclair.

Jane's mouth fell open but she made no sound. Austin kissed her, drawing her tongue into his mouth, letting her enter him the way he would enter her. They fell back on the bed, Jane finally undoing his belt while he wrestled her panties off.

He rolled on top of her again, kissing her bare skin. She didn't feel naked until his eyes met hers and moved down her body.
Oh God, he can see everything.
He could see the scar from her appendix surgery, and that weird freckle under her left breast. He could see all her flaws, all her imperfections.

She crossed her arms over her breasts.

"No, don't do that." He pulled them away. "You're so beautiful."

She bit her lip.

"What's wrong?"

How does he know?
"What makes you think something's wrong?"

"You bit your lower lip. You always do that when you're upset or nervous about something."

He noticed that?
She hadn't even realized she did it. "I guess I'm nervous. My body isn't perfect."
Like your other girls' bodies must be
, she didn't say.

"Yes it is."

"Are you blind?"

He laughed. "Trust me, Janie, guys don't see what you call flaws. All we see is naked." His naughty blue eyes moved over her body again. "Naked is
goooood
."

She smiled.

"We see fun places to kiss." His lips touched one end of the scar and softly followed it to the other end. "Mmm, this is cute." His mouth landed on that weird freckle, licking it until she laughed.

"Stop."

He kept his tongue right there and shook his head.

"That tickles. Stop!" She pouted when he lifted his head.

"Am I gonna hear that word from you again?"

"No."

"I better not hear that one either."

"Yes."

"Good girl." His mouth closed on her ribs and he nibbled hard.

She laughed and gasped for breath. "No no no—"

Austin growled.

"I mean—
pleeeeease
."

He wouldn't stop. He nibbled her ribs, her hip bone, even her good knee. She squealed and rolled across the bed. He chased her and she rolled right off the edge.

He grabbed for her as she fell. "Janie, are you okay?"

She groaned. The pile of their clothes had cushioned her fall, so she wasn't hurt, but when she looked up at Austin, she wanted to die. She'd landed on her back with her legs still on the bed, and he was staring down at her from between her knees with the most evil grin she'd ever seen on his face.

"Enjoying the view?"

"Oh, Janie, you have no idea...."

He caught her as she scrambled onto the bed, rolling with her, kissing, groping, getting tangled and twisted in all sorts of interesting ways.

"Why do you still have your pants on?"

"Beats the hell out of me." He grabbed one pant leg and she grabbed the other. They stripped him naked, and he tackled her, pinning her down and kissing her.

She closed her eyes and switched off all the nagging doubts and annoying voices in her head. The only thing she could do—the only thing she
wanted
to do—was feel. Feel Austin's long hard body on her soft one. Feel his fingers stroking her breasts, her belly, between her thighs. Feel his tongue licking her breasts, her belly, between her—

Oh!
"Austin!"

"Like that?"

"Um...."

He frowned, and she noticed her teeth clamped down on her lower lip.

"Has no one ever done this to you before?"

"Um... well... no one has ever tried...."

"Damn it, what kind of jerks do you go out with?"

The kind who didn't care about pleasing her. "He was nice. He just didn't really know what he was doing."

"Lucky for you, I don't have that problem."

"I didn't know much either." Jane sighed. "I still don't."

A light went on in his eyes. "You've only been with one other guy." He lowered his head and kissed her quivering stomach. "And it wasn't much fun for you."
