“So this is a real BDSM club, not just posing as a club for exhibitionists to come and fuck in the open.”
Good to know,
Vic thought.

“As real as it gets. Sure, there are a few who’d do it if Steve allowed it, but I think he’s wise to ban that. We keep a pretty close eye on the subs and bottoms, especially the ones who come in here alone. It would be too easy for some asshole to come in here, whip one into subspace, and rape her. And we don’t need that rep.”

Vic nodded. It seemed to be a pretty safe place as the club scene went. It took a few seconds more for him to get a grip on what had been rolling around in his head, but when it shook out, it was clear as crystal.

“So what does Steve do to get a house Dom? You said he needs some.” Vic was getting excited about this. An idea was hatching and he decided he’d pursue it.

“It takes training before they’re ready. Oh, sure, you see some posers now and then, but most people who come to a club like this are dead serious about their role and they’re very responsible. Actually, most of the people who come in here and are in a D/s relationship are either married or in a very committed, long-term relationship, so they’re not interested in scening with others.” José eyed Vic. “You interested?”

“You know, I think I am. How would I go about this?”

“Talk to Steve. He’s going to want to know
why
you want to do this. Whether or not you get in is dependent on your answer. And be warned,” José added, “he can smell bullshit a mile away. So you’d better be honest.”

“Not a problem,” Vic said. He’d bare all to Steve if it meant there was a chance he could develop enough self-control to have a relationship, and he thought training as a Dom just might be a way to do that. And he’d talk to Tony about it too; nobody knew him better, and he respected Tony’s opinion.

But he knew one thing for sure. He wanted to move forward. And if this would help him, he’d throw himself into it one hundred percent. He’d been stuck for way too long. Being able to be in a relationship with another woman was the only way he could think of to get that blond out of his head and heart.

Vic checked the clock on the dash – nine. Tony and Nikki would still be up. Well, they’d still be
awake
– that didn’t mean they’d be up and out of bed. He’d caught them in bed in the middle of the day. Matter of fact, he’d caught them going at it in places other than the bed in the middle of the day. He had to remind himself that they were newlyweds, because it seemed like Nikki had always been a part of the family. Those two . . . yeah, that’s what he wanted. He wanted that kind of connection with a woman, craved it.

Better call anyway; two rings and Tony picked up. “Hey bud! What’s up with you?”

“Can I come to your house? I need to talk to you about something.” Vic’s excitement level was rising.

“Of course. Got some clothes with you? Stay the night here. We’ll go get something disgusting for breakfast in the morning, something that’ll make Nik groan and smile at the same time,” Tony laughed.

“Got some clean stuff in the back. I’ll be there as soon as I can make it. I’m just outside Lex right now.”

“See you when you get here, man. Be safe.”

“Thanks. On my way!”

“Who was that?” Nikki asked when she walked into the great room from the kitchen.

“We’re going to have an overnight guest. Vic’s on his way,” Tony said, taking a sip of the bourbon he’d just bought, Four Roses.
Wow, damn good stuff,
he thought, taking another sip.

“Yay! Think I’ll get that three-way I asked for?” Nikki asked, laughing.

“Hell no! I’m not sharing that pussy with anybody, you hear me?” he said as she plopped down in his lap and kissed him. He nuzzled her neck, then bit her earlobe, and she squealed.

“Damn! I thought maybe I’d finally get my dream team,” she said, tweaking one of his nipples, and he tweaked hers in return. She moaned and bit his bottom lip.

“Woman, behave yourself. We’re going to have a guest, and he wants to talk to me about something. I have this weird feeling it has something to do with Steve’s club.”

“Uh-huh. And that could be very good for him.” Nikki kissed him again, and he knew she was going to have to stop it or they’d be in bed when Vic got there. “Does he know that I know about his ‘problem?’”

“No, I don’t think so. But I’d like to have you in on this conversation, if that’s what it’s about. You know more about that stuff than I do,” Tony said.

“That’s sure as shit true, Mr. Vanilla!” she said, laughing as she kissed him again. “By the way, where was he when he called?”

“Just outside Lex,” he answered, finishing the bourbon. “Why?”

“Come on, Mr. Walters,” she said, winking. “Get your ass upstairs and let’s whip out a quickie before he gets here.”

“Right behind you, Mrs. Walters.”

“Hey, guys, I’m here!” Vic came through the front door with his bag. He knew the security code, and he just walked in; always had. This time, Tony came down the stairs zipping his jeans. Vic took one look at him and groaned. “Oh, shit, not again. Can’t you guys lay off for just a little while? You’re killing me!”

“What?” Tony laughed. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“Yeah, right. Whatever.
Now
I need a drink.”

“Bar’s open. What’s your pleasure?”

“You don’t have that in your liquor cabinet. But if you’re talking about liquid refreshment, I’ll have a Jack on the rocks.” Vic looked up as Nikki came through the door, and he could tell just from the way she looked that she’d just gotten a fucking and was pretty happy about it. “Hey, baby, what’ve you been up to?”

Nikki tossed her head back and laughed out loud – god, she looked so damn sexy when she did that. “Like you don’t know!” she said and kissed him on the cheek, and he slapped her ass as she walked past him to sit down. She let out a squeal, and Tony shot him the evil eye. Nikki saw it and winked at Vic from her chair.

“So, what’s this all about? You said you want to talk to me.” Tony handed Vic his drink and sat down.

Vic glanced over at Nikki, then said, “Well, I was kind of hoping to talk to you, um, you know . . .” he said, his cheeks taking on a pink tint.

Tony leaned toward him, looked straight into his eyes, and said, “Vic, you know Nikki and I have no secrets. None. Understand?”

Shame washed over Vic like surf breaking over a reef. He swallowed hard, broke eye contact with Tony, and took a big gulp of his drink.

Nikki got up, walked over, and sat down right at Vic’s feet, much to his surprise; she looked just like a submissive sitting at her master’s feet. She looked up at him like she adored him. “Vic, I don’t think any less of you. I love you, you know that. I just want you to be happy.” She rose up on her knees, reached up, and pressed her hand to his cheek, and he closed his eyes to keep them from welling up. “Tony didn’t break your confidence; he knew I’d understand better than anyone where you were coming from. You’re free to talk to us about anything –
anything.
You understand?”

Vic took a deep breath and opened his eyes. He looked from Nikki to Tony and saw that there wasn’t a speck of judgment on their faces, so he dug in. “Well, I went to Steve’s club tonight. While I was there I had a long talk with José. And I wanted to talk to you about something.”

“We’re listening,” Tony said. Nikki nodded, sitting back down at his feet.

Vic told them all the things he and José had talked about. Tony knew what had happened with Carrie, with the others, and it was clear that he’d told Nikki, so when Vic finished, he asked, “So, what do you think? Is this something that would work for me? I need some direction.”

“Nikki, you have way more experience in this realm than I do. What do you think?” Tony asked. Vic was shocked.
Nikki knows about this stuff? What the hell?

“I think you would benefit from it, no doubt about it. It would help you with self-control and impulse control. Being an active, dedicated Dominant takes great concentration. Of course, anyone can call themselves a Dom and beat the shit out of their sub or bottom, but to be the Dom that a sub would love and respect takes a lot of discipline. You ready for that?”

“I am.” Vic’s resolution was firm. He was at the point where he’d do anything that might help.

“Then I’d say you should pursue it.” Tony leaned in again and locked eyes with Vic. “Buddy, you know we’ll do anything you need us to, anything. We love you and we want you to be happy, and we all know you haven’t been. I’m in the best place I’ve been in years, decades even, and now it’s your turn.” Vic’s hands were on his knees, and Tony reached over and put his hands on top of Vic’s. Nikki leaned in and put her hands on top of Tony’s.

Vic couldn’t remember ever feeling as much love coming from anyone as he did from the two of them – their encouragement meant everything to him. “Okay. I’m going to talk to McCoy as soon as I can. I want to move forward with this.”

“I can make that happen. You’ll be able to talk to him tomorrow,” Tony said. “You’ve got my word.”

“Hey, big guy! What’s up?” Steve was surprised to hear from Tony on a Saturday.

“What are you up to today? Got some time? I need to talk to you. Correction: I have someone here who needs to talk to you.”

“Who?”

“Vic.”

“Has he gotten himself into some kind of trouble?” Steve asked. He hadn’t gotten a chance to talk to Vic, but he’d seen him from across the room at the club the night before. Steve had been busy applying his services to a particular lady who’d been there three times and had never found someone to service her. There was only one of him, and he was wishing a few more guys would sign on to be service Doms and tops. He’d offered to train Peyton, but the blue-eyed blond had backed away so fast that Steve thought he’d go right through the wall, and José was way more valuable at the front.

“Nope. No trouble. He just needs to talk to you.”

“Where is he?”

“He’s here with us. He needs some moral support. Can you come over?” Coming from Tony Walters, it couldn’t be classified as a request; Steve was expected to show up. That’s what you got when you kept Steve McCoy on permanent retainer.

“Yeah. I can be there in a couple of hours. That good enough?”

“Yep – see you then.”

Tony went back upstairs and knocked on the bedroom door where Vic had slept the night before. “Yeah?” Vic yelled from inside the room, and Tony opened the door and walked in.

“McCoy will be here in a couple of hours. You sure about this?”

“Yeah, I’m sure.” There was a question that had been niggling at Vic since the night before. “By the way, how does Nikki know anything about this stuff?”

Tony gave him a serious look. “Vic, remember: Nikki had a life before we met.” Vic nodded, trying not to look surprised. “We still practice some of that stuff, just for fun and variety. But now that I know about Steve’s club, I’m guessing we’ll visit sometime.”

“Oh.” Vic had never thought of Nikki being with anyone but Tony, but he knew she was a widow when she met Tony, had buried her husband and two kids. He’d just never given it much thought. “Does she like, well, you know . . .”

“Yeah, she likes pain with her pleasure. She’s a hardcore girl, and she can take a lot. She’s been a real challenge to me, but I love it. I love her.” Vic watched Tony’s face as he talked about his wife, and what Vic saw there was damn near worship.
That’s what I want, to have a woman to adore,
he thought. “That’s not my thing, but she needs it. She and her late husband, Randy, practiced a D/s relationship at home, behind closed doors because of the kids, so she was used to that. And I’d do anything for her,” he said, a smile turning up the corners of his mouth.
