“I only know because one of my men, John, was a professional football player. Isn’t it weird? And apparently they get paid a ton of money for playing games for a living.” She shook her head as if the whole thing were beyond her understanding.
“Right!
Well, he doesn’t talk much. He just grabs me and expects me to spread my legs. I mean, he’s okay, but I wish I at least knew something about him!”
“Have you tried asking?” April asked logically.
“Well, no.”
“Ask him about his childhood.
His years in college. His answers will help you.”
Erin nodded. “I probably should.” She leaned back and shook her head.
“The last one? His name is Bo, but he makes me call him Luigi.”
April’s eyes widened. “Why does he want you to call him Luigi?”
“Because he’s insane? I don’t know! He invented this video game that has been a video game for hundreds of years. It’s called Mario. Every time I go to his room, he makes me dress up as someone called Princess Peach. It’s demoralizing! I have to wear this long pink dress and a tiara. He puts on a green shirt, overalls, and a green baseball cap. And then he makes me keep the clothes on the whole time we…you know.”
April giggled wildly. “He does sound a bit on the crazy side.”
“You can laugh, but what if his insanity is hereditary? I don’t want my children to act that way!”
“What about when it’s all of them? Does he expect you to dress up then?”
Erin shook her head, blushing. “We’ve only done that once, though. Last night was the first time ever.”
“I’ll bet you’re sore today,” April said knowingly. “Until you get used to having them all at once like that, you really get sore for a day or two afterward.”
“I noticed.”
Erin turned her head, listening. “I think one of your girls is awake.”
April jumped up and hurried into the room, pulling one of the babies from her bed. “This one is Rebekkah.” She handed the baby off to Erin who held her close. “Would you change her diaper? Rahab is waking up too.”
Erin went to the changing table and efficiently changed the baby’s diaper, cooing to her all the while. When she was finished, April took care of
Rahab’s diaper. “Do you nurse them?” Erin asked.
April shook her head sadly. “I tried, but my milk never came in right.” They went to the kitchen and smiled at the man working there. He handed her two baby bottles, and she gave the first to Erin. “Do you mind feeding
Rebekkah?”
Erin shook her head.
“Of course not.”
While they fed the girls, they talked about lighter topics. They discussed how things were going back home, and Erin told April how happy her new step-mother was with the money they’d received from selling April.
They had a late dinner with the men, and when it was time to leave, Erin had tears in her eyes. “I’m going to miss you!”
April shook her head. “I’m not going to think of this as a separation. We live so close to each other now. We can see each other almost whenever we want to.”
Erin nodded, eyeing Travis. “I’m sure Travis will bring me back whenever I ask.”
April smiled. “The good thing about our situations is that we have the power. The men think they do, because they own us, but we have the power to make them happy or sad. I don’t know about your men, but mine won’t force me, so I have the right to withhold their release. They all know it too.”
Erin giggled. “So I need to remember that I’m the powerful one in my family?”
April nodded emphatically. “Yes, you do. None of the men will hurt us. We’re too important to their future.
Really to the future of the planet. That’s why the auction house that deals with us is called, ‘Menage for Mankind.’”
“Yeah, and
as one of them is moving in and out of me, that’s what I’m thinking about…the future of mankind!”
Both women were giggling as the men joined them. Travis slipped his arm around Erin’s shoulders. “It was good seeing you, Bill.”
“You too, Travis. You two should come back soon. Or we can come to you,” Bill offered, looking nervous at the idea.
Travis shook his head. “No, you don’t need to travel with the babies.” They headed for the door. “We’ll have to do this at least twice a month.” The look on Erin’s face told him the visit had done her a world of good.
Bill nodded, smiling down at April. “Sounds good to me.”
The women hugged one last time, before Erin left with Travis. “Thank you so much for bringing me to see my friend,” she told him.
He smiled. “It was my pleasure. I could tell you needed to see a friendly face.”
“I did.” She rested her head on his shoulder as they took the elevator up to the roof. “Can I ask you something?”
Travis nodded. “Anything?”
“Can I see the contract you men signed before going to the auction?”
Travis smiled. “Absolutely. I’ve been waiting for you to ask.”
“You really don’t mind?”
“Of course not. I’m not planning on selling off our daughters, so I have nothing to hide.” He saw instantly that he’d guessed right. That was what her worry was. “I’ll show you the contract as soon as we get home.”
“Thank you.”
“Bill told me what happened with April. I understand why you’d want to see it.” He squeezed her hand as he started the car. “Are you excited to get back to the others?”
She nodded slowly. “I don’t feel like I know any of them the way I know you, but I certainly enjoy them.” She blushed when she realized what she’d said.
“You know we all want you to enjoy each of us. I’d hate to send you off to Bo if I knew you hated sex with him.”
“Doesn’t it bother you at all to know that I’m having sex with your friends?”
He sighed, looking at her out of the corner of his eye. “If I could have paid your fee by myself without becoming a pauper I’d have done it, but I couldn’t. None of us could. We did what made sense to us, and it’s working out. I’m sorry that you don’t have the marriage you always dreamed about, but we do our best to treat you well.”
She smiled at him, rubbing her hand over his arm for a moment. She wasn’t sure if his robot arm could feel, but she knew he’d understand the gesture even if it couldn’t. “I don’t have a problem with all the pleasure you bring me. I just don’t necessarily feel like I’m supposed to be having sex with four men at once.”
He smiled. “You are. Trust me in this. You really are.”
“Says the man who wants his turn tonight.”
When they got home, the other men were waiting, but she wanted to wait until she saw the contract before anything else happened. She followed Travis to his office, and he removed the document for her to inspect.
Bo made a face. “What’s that about?”
Travis turned to him. “April told her about leaving her men and why she’d done it. They had a contract that gave them the right to sell any daughters she had.”
Cody shook his head. “We didn’t do that. We wouldn’t do that. You’re ours, Princess. We don’t care about what anyone says or feels. We all love you
, and we’re going to keep you and our children safe.”
Erin gaped at Cody. Of all the men, she’d have thought he’d be the last to say he loved her. She put the document down and walked to Cody, slipping her arms around his slim waist. “I love all of you, too.” She sighed. “It’s weird. I never know what to expect, and I don’t feel like I really know any of you as well as I know Travis, but I wouldn’t give any of you up. If I had to choose one of you to stop being with, I wouldn’t be able to do it.”
The other men crowded around her, embracing her between them. Bo stroked her hair. “I know I may seem like a freak, Erin, but I love you. I like it when you pretend to be Princess Peach, but you’re more important than that to me. It wouldn’t bother me if you never dressed up as Peach again.”
She sighed contentedly in the middle of her four men. April was right. This may not be the way she’d been brought up, but this was how she was supposed to live. These four men made everything in the world right for her. She was happy with them, in a way she never could have been at home.
She kissed each one of them in turn. “I’m so glad it was you guys who bought me and not some freaks who were into that old sci-fi show Star Trek or something.”
The all laughed, dragging her off to the living room where they let her know just how loved she was.

Amber sat quietly in her room staring out her window. Two of her friends had been auctioned off in just the last year, and she knew she was next. Her parents hadn’t officially told her yet, but they’d told her to shower and wash her hair and get ready to go to Madison. She knew what that meant.
She prowled her room, freshly scrubbed. She was glad to get out of this little hole her parents had raised her in. It was time she saw some of the world. Why would she want to stay in nowhere Wisconsin, when she could be married to
trillionaires like her friends?
She wasn’t supposed to know where her friends were, but she’d kept track of both April and Erin when they’d left. How could she not? She’d seen in them her own fate.
A fate that she was ready to face. A fate of spending every night in the arms of four men.
Unlike her friends, she had kissed a boy before. She didn’t care what the community thought of her. She wasn’t a slut. She just knew what her girl parts were for. She was a virgin, but just barely.
She’d had men’s fingers poking away at her. She sighed happily.
Today was her day. She was going to marry some
trillionaires. Her life was about to start.
