She ignored the call of her beast. Her pussy grasped at his cock and her pelvic muscles squeezed around him.

“Fuck! Keep doing that,” he grunted, his stomach scrunching to show his lickable abs from the way he helped her rock over his cock. “Your pussy’s tight. Hot. Wet. Fucking perfect.”

“Oh my god, oh my god!” She screamed. Her body tensed, hanging just at the edge of what she knew would be an amazing explosion.

Her orgasm rushed her so fast she couldn’t stop her nails from shifting into claws. Her tigress pushed then. She raked her claws over his chest without meaning to. The power of her climax shook her from head to toe. She moaned as waves of release washed over her, first breaking through the tension in her body and then leaving her muscles weak. She choked on a moan, still digging her nails into his abs.

He tensed and roared loudly, pushing her down on his cock. Lord, he was hot and hard inside her. She’d swear he grew larger the whole time he growled. He came hard, filling her channel with his seed.

“Fuck!”

She blinked, trying to get rid of the spots in her field of vision. What the hell had she done? There wasn’t much time to think about it. He hooked a hand on her neck and tugged her down, pressing their lips together.

He should go. But the more he kissed, the more her body heated again. Okay, he could go... later. Just because it was a one night stand didn’t mean they should only have sex once. She’d get it as much as possible through the night and then send him on his way. Mind made up, she opened up to his kiss, loving his hands groping her body and his cock hardening inside her again.

She pulled back and met his gaze. “I want—”

His lips broke into a panty-wetting grin. “I know what you want. You want me to fuck you again.” He kissed the corner of her mouth. “You want me to eat your sweet pussy until you come.” He nibbled on her jaw. “And you want me to keep coming inside you because that cools the ache from your heat.”

She wasn’t even going to mention the fact she’d marked him. That was bad. Really bad.

“You’re pretty full of yourself,” she groaned, running her nails down his sides.

“You’re about to be full of me.” He said, his voice low. “If you’re not careful, your ass will be full of me too.”

She smiled at his taunt. “Anything else?”

He slid a hand into her hair, gripping the strands and holding her in place. “Yeah. Tonight, I’m coming in your mouth, your ass and your pussy. And then, I’m coming on your tits.”

Her pussy throbbed, listening to his dirty words. “Oh, really?”

“Yes, really. Don’t get too mouthy or I’ll shove my cock in your ass and spank you at the same time.” He licked down her jaw to her shoulder and bit lightly. “Tonight, your body is mine.”

She couldn’t argue with that. Even if she wanted to, her tigress gave him full access. There was no stopping now.

Brett Night stared at the employee profile he’d been sent. He sat in place, unmoving. Valentina Cruz. His assistant. The woman he’d been sending emails to for his contract negotiations for the past week was the one he’d had sex with the previous night. All fucking night. The image of her on the sofa, on the bed and later on in the shower, drove him crazy. Visualizing her spread open, showing him her glistening pussy and purring at the back of her throat made him instantly hard.

She was his assistant. The photo on the employee profile showed her smiling wide at the camera as if someone had told her a joke right before they snapped the shot. Her brown eyes twinkled and her skin appeared gold in the picture.

He’d been caught unawares by the desperate need to be with her once he’d gotten a whiff of her scent when she bumped into him. The wolf inside him snarled, ordering him to get her for him. She was his. The one he’d been waiting for and he wasn’t going to let her out of his grasp.

That first taste of her lips had been heaven. He’d known then that she was his. He was glad she had the kind of body he preferred in women. Full of sexy curves with more than enough to hold. Not to mention her scent drove him and the beast within wild. His sole train of thought was to be inside her, taking her and marking her as his.

Returning to the U.S. hadn’t been in his plans for a while. He still had a lot to do, but with both his cousins out after mating, someone needed to be available at the Night and Day Ink headquarters from their side. The Days brothers were busy with running the day to day operations. It was Brett’s job to handle the expansion of the business.

How was he going to handle working with Tina, as her file said she liked to be called, from now on? He couldn’t stop thinking of getting her back in his bed, naked and purring.

He rubbed a hand over his abs, grinning at the marks she’d left behind. He hadn’t gotten the chance to give her the same, but he would. Soon.

She’d mentioned multiple times that their night was a one off. Even as she rushed him out the door as the day started to break, she continued to say he wouldn’t see her again. Like she could stop the need of her animal or his from taking over. Not to mention he wanted to get to know the woman better. She wasn’t just a pretty face with a sexy body and a pussy he could eat for days. He’d seen how intelligent she was via their email communications. Now he wanted to see more of her without her getting the hint of who he was.

He leaned back on his bed. He should shower and get some sleep, but all he wanted was to keep her scent on his body as long as possible. She was his. Whether she knew it or not. She’d be his before she had a chance to realize what was going on.

He’d forgo going into the office until Monday to get over his jet lag. Now that he thought about it, he could probably do with a few days of looking for a new apartment. He’d been living in executive housing for months. It was time to get his own place. Somewhere he’d be able to bring Tina later on.

His cell phone rang. His cousin Royce was calling. Royce and his mate, Kiara, were off spending time together. Bonding. It was part of the mating process. In a few weeks, he’d be back in the office and it would give Brett the time he needed with his own mate.

“Royce, good to hear from you. How are you?”

“I’m great,” Royce said. There was a lightness to his tone. Something Brett had never heard in his cousin’s voice. “Kiara has me looking at houses. Whatever you do, when you mate, make sure you pick a house before you get a woman. This way they won’t be dragging you all over to see property.”

Brett heard Kiara in the background saying “I heard that. Are you looking to be in the dog house tonight?”

He laughed at Kiara’s sense of humor. “Listen, I have a question about Valentina.”

There was a moment of silence before Royce spoke. “Let me guess. You want her?”

He grinned. His cousin was pretty perceptive. “More like I had her. And I want her again.”

Royce chuckled. “You work fast. Didn’t you just get home last night?”

He sighed, propping up on one elbow on the bed. “You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. Is she involved with anyone?”

“Is this something you want me to ask Kiara directly or find out without her knowing why?”

“Seeing as Tina doesn’t know I’m her boss, I’d say find out indirectly.”

“Oh, man. This gets better and better. What the heck did you do, come on to her in the middle of the street?” Royce asked, laughter sounding in his tone.

Whoa! He was way too close to the truth. “Nothing. Well, nothing much. We had a great time. And before you ask, yes, she’s mine. She’s just under the impression it was for one night only.”

“You’re clearly going to change that perception. The question is, how?”

Good question. He had no clue. He had an idea he hoped would work out in his benefit. “I’m going to find a place to live in the next few days. Talk to her via email and get a better idea of the kind of person she is. What she wants.”

Royce laughed again. “You’re going to use whatever she says to get her.”

Hell yeah. This was his mate and no matter what she thought, she’d be his. One way or another.

Tina smiled at her clean desk. Working for Night and Day ink had turned into a breeze. Things were looking up today. Unlike the past week when her heat had taken control of her life, that night with the stranger had fixed all her problems. Now if she could only get him out of her mind.

She’d just sat down when her messenger pinged. She frowned at the photo of a beach, sent by her boss. What the heck did that mean?

Hi, Brett. How’s Japan?

She opened a desk drawer and pulled out a file when his reply came back.

So, so. I’m wishing I was by the beach with a cold beer and a slice of pizza.

She grinned. Poor guy. He worked all kind of hours. She wondered how the heck he could be awake when from what she knew it was night time in Japan.

You and me both. The beach sounds so relaxing. So, what can I do for you today?

You like the beach? I took you more for a woodsy kind of person.

She frowned. He was awfully chatty today. Usually he got right down to business. He was probably bored. It was the middle of the night over there.

Yeah. Love the woods. I guess if I had to pick I’d choose the mountains or a cabin in the woods instead of the beach. But if I don’t have to choose, a beach getaway would be great. I love the scent of the ocean.

Ah, yeah. I miss that too. No vacations for you soon?

Um. Not really. I started recently and don’t want to take time off unless it’s necessary.

Guess your family must be understanding.

She laughed. He was either fishing for information or just bored out of his mind.

I’m all alone aside from my sister. She’s too busy with Callum to worry about my vacation schedule.

I meant your boyfriend.

She stared at the screen for a moment, unsure what to say. This was her boss. They shouldn’t be talking about her personal life. Not that he was being a jerk or anything, but that was personal. He followed his words with a sad smiley face.

Sorry. Too personal.

Aw. He was bored. She shook her head. Like he could see her or something. Dumbass.

Not too personal. I don’t have a significant other. Too busy.

Then, as if her own curiosity was getting the best of her, she sent a follow up question.

You?

No. Too much work. Too far from the States.

She laughed.

The last time I checked, there was a bunch of women in Japan!

True, but not the kind I want.

Woah! Time to stop this conversation. This was moving into dangerous ground. The last thing she needed was to get in trouble for online joking with her boss. Too bad he was her boss. He sounded like a nice guy.

It was the middle of the day when a flower plant was delivered to her desk. She stared at the beautiful antique-looking pot that housed blue hydrangeas with confusion.

Stephanie chose that moment to stop by her office. “Oh, Tina! Those are gorgeous.” She blinked wide eyes at Tina. “I thought you said you didn’t have a man?”

Tina frowned. “I don’t. I have a neighbor that hits on me from time to time, but we don’t date or anything.”

“Girl! There’s a card,” she squealed. “Open it up and see who they’re from.”

Dread curled in the pit of her stomach. She didn’t want to open the card. There was still that hot man she’d slept with taking up most of her mental thinking time lately. She couldn’t handle it if her neighbor now wanted to try and start something. He’d end up sorely disappointed. She liked him as a friend, so she didn’t want to hurt his feelings.

Tearing the envelope from the plastic protecting the plant, she smiled at Stephanie’s excitement while pulling the card out.

“An unforgettable woman deserves something beautiful to look at.”

Stephanie sighed. “That’s so sweet. Who’s it from?”

“There’s no signature.” She lied. There was a signature. It read ‘one night will never be enough’.

Oh, shit. She gulped, lowering her hands so Stephanie wouldn’t notice them shaking. She shouldn’t be excited over her one night stand making the effort to find out where she worked, but she was. He’d even picked her favorite flowers. She had to admit she was a little freaked out that he knew who she was but she didn’t know who he was.

To make things even more confusing, a second delivery showed up later that day. Another pot of hydrangeas, this set in purple. She loved them so much, but couldn’t figure out what the hell was going on.

Her chat opened up with a message from Brett.

Did you like the flowers?

She gasped, eyeing both flowers.

They’re from you?

Yes. I wasn’t sure if you liked the color, but I figured purple was a safe bet
.
He added a happy smiley face with his reply.

She bit her lip, glancing at the second potted plant of hydrangeas on her desk. Her two favorite colors.
They’re beautiful, but why did you get me flowers?

To welcome you to the team. I hope that was okay.

Oh no. She’d made him feel bad after giving her a nice, simple gift.
Yes. They’re lovely. Thank you so much! It’s a great color choice. Purple is one of my two favorite colors.
She added a smiley face to convey her happiness. She hated chats instead of normal conversation. You never got tone of voice across in writing.

Oh? What’s the other?
He asked, adding a confused face with his question.

Blue. Funny thing, I have two of the same plants sitting on my desk in both my favorite colors.

You’re a popular girl.
He replied with a graphic of some more flowers.

She laughed, feeling herself relax into the conversation. She hadn’t really spoken to Brett this much in the past week she worked for him.

Not really. It was a freak day for sure. Thanks for the flowers. Now I’ll have to figure out what you like so I can get you something when you come back home.

Like how?
He asked.

You know, like food, drink. Anything.

Okay. I like to drink old scotch. I prefer to be outdoors, but I’m not into crowds. And I like to eat pizza.

She laughed. Yeah, she’d gotten his love for pizza during their last conversation.

Anything else?
She asked, adding a smiley face with a question mark above its head.

Favorite color is red. Especially when worn by a beautiful woman.

She curled her fingers into her palms to stop herself from asking more personal questions. This messenger was a dangerous tool. It was time to bring it all back to work or she was going to get herself in trouble.

The rest of the day consisted of random messages from Brett asking her about her favorite food, music and random preferences.

As she got near her building, she saw her neighbor coming close. “Hi, Alex.”

He smiled, opened the glass lobby door and held it for her to enter. “Hey, Valentina. You look great.”

She smiled. He didn’t usually refer to her outfits when greeting her, so this was new. “Thanks, how’s everything going?”

He walked beside her to the stairs. She hated elevators. The small space scared the tigress and made her feel uncomfortable. “Good.”

“Hey, I was wondering, if you’re not too busy some night. Do you want to catch some dinner or something?” There was no flirting happening with the question.

She was quietly going up the stairs for a moment. “I don’t know...”

“Nothing weird, I promise. I think you’re nice. I’m not trying to hit on you or anything.” He sighed and let his shoulders drop. “I have a boyfriend. Or better said, had a boyfriend, but he dumped me and I’ve been down for the past few days.”

Aw, Alex looked so sad as he spoke. She nodded. “Of course I’ll have dinner with you,” she agreed, squeezing his arms in comfort. “I’m sorry about your boyfriend.”

He shook his head and met her gaze with a sad smile. “I’m sorry too. I love him, but he won’t put his job on the line in order to be open about our relationship.”

“You’d think that in this day and age people would be understanding.” She opened her door and motioned him in. “Want to come in? Get some wine? Bitch about men and how they should all be castrated?”

He laughed and shook his head. “Not tonight. I’ve actually brought work home, but maybe Friday we can go get dinner and drinks or something?”

She nodded, throwing her keys back in her bag. “Definitely. Let me give you my number so you can call and we can chat if you want.”

Once she had given him her cell phone, she tried to smile encouragingly. “As for Friday, it sounds good. Just knock and let me know when you want to go.”

“Thanks so much! Good night, Tina,” he said, going into his own place.
