“You’re going to have to change the locks at your place on everything. If she has a key, she could have made copies of it,” Dom said. Standing up, he went to the fridge, pulled out two beers and handed one to Nate, cracking the top. “This is some seriously fucked up shit, Nate. Skylar is really upset over this and Craig’s on his way over with Chantal. There is no way she’d want to talk to you about this now. We’ll both have to sit down and see what Craig thinks, he might have some ideas.”

“I want to see her, Dom. I know what she saw upset her, but I have to try.”

“Let me go in first and stay at the door, okay.”

Before he even had a chance to get up and follow, Skylar screamed so loud that it shook the walls. Nate and Dom looked at each other, and then took off running towards her room. Slamming the door open, Dom barged in, looking around for what would have made her scream. Skylar was sitting against the bedhead, shaking and pale. Dom moved towards her slowly.

“Skylar, we heard you scream, is everything all right?” he asked. She was staring at the wall, rocking her body, back and forth. Dom sat down beside her. He looked over his shoulder to Nate, and lifted his shoulders at him. Dom stroked her arm to get her attention. Skylar screamed when he touched her, and moved away from him.

Nate walked into the room towards the bed. “Skylar, you’re safe. Nothing can hurt you, darling.” Skylar looked up at Dom.

“Sorry,” she answered with a shaky voice.

“You have nothing to be sorry about, Sky.” Dom said as she sat up slightly, pulling the sheet with her.

She thought she was going through it all again. She was over having these nightmares about it.

“Are you all right?” Dom asked.

“I’m fine, Dom. It was just a nightmare,” she whispered.

“Do you want to talk about it?”

She was about to answer yes
,
when she followed Dom’s gaze towards the end of the bed. Nate was standing there. Shaking her head at him she crawled up to the top of her bed, to get as far away from him as possible. She started crying at the sight of him in her room. “I told you I didn’t want to see him, Dom,” Skylar sobbed.

“I know you did, Sky. But he has something to tell you.”

“I don’t want to hear anything he has to say.” She ripped off the sheet and slid to the other side of the bed. Standing up, she made a run for it towards her bathroom, but Nate caught her.

“Baby, can you listen to what I have to say, please?” He wrapped his arms around her.

“No, Nate. This is the second time you have done this to me; I can’t take much more than that.” She tried to loosen his grip, but it didn’t work. Nate spun her around so she was facing him. God, he was gorgeous.

“Baby, please.” He lifted his hand and rubbed his thumb over her cheek.

“No, I’m over getting hurt by jerks, Nate. I don’t want to hear it.” She tried to back away from him, but he only pulled her closer to him and wrapped his arms tighter around her.

Crying harder, she pushed against his chest, “Please let me go, Nate. I’m sick of people hurting me.”

Nate looked down at her. He lifted her chin up so she would look at him. “I’m not going to hurt you, baby,” he said softly.

“You already did, Nate. You obviously don’t care about me that much if you need to sleep with someone else while you’re sleeping with me,” Skylar sobbed.

“Of course I care about you, Skylar. Jesus, will you just let me explain what happened?”

“There’s nothing to explain, Nate. I get it, I really do, just please let me go.” Skylar tried pulling herself away from him, but he kept his grip on her.

“No, you don’t get it. I need to explain to you what happened.”

Skylar ripped her arms out of his grip. God, she was over this, she knew what she saw, and she didn’t need him to explain his way out of it either. “I don’t want to hear it. At all.” Turning around, she walked to her bathroom and tried to close the door, but Nate pushed his foot in so it wouldn’t close all the way.

“Please, baby. Someone drugged me,” he said softly.

Throwing her hand up to stop him from talking. “You know what, Nate?”

“What?”

“I was coming over to surprise you, and tell you I was falling hard for you, but I’m not anymore. After what I saw, I can’t be with someone who cheats on me,” Skylar whispered to him. Nate frowned down at her. “Nothing you say or do is going to change what you did, Nate.”

Nate pulled his foot away from the door, so she could close it. He didn’t want it to end like this. He cared about her too much. Nate reached for the door handle to open it and tell her how he felt, but Dom stopped him.

“Let her be, Nate. I think she’s had enough for tonight.”

Shaking his head, he walked out and sat on the couch. He couldn’t believe that she was falling for him and she was coming over to tell him. God, he was stupid. He should have come over here straight away after work.

Eventually Dom walked out with two more beers and sat beside him, handing him one. “Give her some time. When Craig and Chantal arrive they can talk to her and let her know what really happened.” Dom really felt for Nate; he had gone through some shit with his last ex, but he knew Nate had really strong feelings for Skylar, everyone could see it between them.

Craig and Chantal arrived ten minutes later. They walked into the lounge and Craig sat down opposite Dom and Nate and looked between them. “Is she all right?” he asked.

Chantal stood behind Dom, frowning at what was going on. “She was until Nate came over to talk to her,” Dom answered him.

Craig jumped out of his seat and stomped over to Nate, “What the fuck have you done to her now?” Craig growled at him.

“Nate didn’t do anything on purpose. I think Chantal needs to go in and see her; we need to talk to you, alone.” Dom looked up at Chantal. She left the room so they could talk.

“What the hell is going on, Dom?” Craig sat back down, frowning at both of them. “Talk.”

“As you know, Nate was coming over to meet Skylar tonight after work. When he went into his house to get ready he found Tracey on his bed naked.”

“Why was she there, Nate?”

Nate just shrugged his shoulders at him.

“Okay, keep going,” he told Dom.

“Nate said that he had plans tonight and told her to leave basically, but she never did, all she said was, ‘I hoped you weren’t going to say that.’ Someone came up behind him and placed something over his mouth; he tried to pull away but that didn’t work as the person was strong, and Nate passed out.”

Breathing out he continued, “That’s when Skylar went over to surprise him, and found Tracey in his bed. She had managed to tie his hands up so he couldn’t move. Tracey said some things to her that Nate was only using her to get back at Tracey and that Skylar could never meet his needs. That’s when I found her in the shower.”

Craig got out of his seat and walked to the window. “So what do you think, Craig?” Dom asked.

“It sounds like someone has it bad for Nate.” Glancing over at him, he asked, “Have you ever pissed anyone off so bad that they would come after you?”

“Of course I’ve pissed people off, but not that bad that they would do anything.”

“Has anyone ever done this with any of the other girls you’ve been with?”

“No, why?” Nate said.

Craig frowned, “How well do you know Tracey?”

“I’ve known her for years. Do you think she knows someone trying to get back at me?”

“Maybe,” Craig said. He was hoping this wasn’t the work of Lucas; that guy could play dirty and Skylar didn’t need it right now. “The black Ford you told me about has something to do with this, but I’m not sure what.”

Nate and Dom both nodded.

“Okay, this will have to do for tonight. Skylar’s had enough drama for the moment. You two head back over and we’ll talk more tomorrow, okay? Keep your phones on.”

Nate stood up and shook Craig’s hand, and left.

“I hope we figure this out soon, man. Those two have it bad for each other, but seems to me someone is trying to fuck it up for them,” Dom said.

Craig agreed with him, he just didn’t know who it was. After Dom left, he headed for the kitchen to grab himself a beer and sat out on the back porch to think this through.

Chantal walked out of the room when Dom asked her to leave. She had heard the whole conversation before she entered Skylar’s room. Opening the door slowly, she walked in. Skylar was curled up in her bed, sound asleep. Yawning herself, she made her way to the opposite side and crawled into bed with her. She knew Skylar didn’t know half of what was going on. If she did, Nate would be laying beside her right now, not her. When they woke in the morning she would sit down with her and tell her exactly what she had heard. There was no excuse for what he did, but if he didn’t pursue it himself, it meant something seriously wrong was going on. She rolled over. She knew it would take a lot for Skylar to listen to what she had to say, but she would make damn sure she did.

Skylar woke the next morning with a killer headache. Opening her eyes slightly, she noticed that Chantal was asleep beside her. Skylar slipped off her bed gently, reached over for her robe and wrapped it around herself. Rubbing her hand over her forehead she made her way towards the kitchen to grab some pain killers. Walking slowly past the lounge, she heard Dom and Craig talking. She didn’t know what they were saying as her head was pounding.

She walked through the archway to the kitchen and stopped dead in her tracks. Nate was leaning against the sink looking out over her yard.
What the hell was he still doing here?
Backing away quietly, she bumped into the wall. Nate spun around at the noise, “Hey.” He smiled at her.

Skylar shook her head at him. He pushed off the sink and walked over towards her. She had nowhere to go as her back was pressed up against the wall. Breathing out softly, she said, “Please don’t.”

Nate kept walking towards her and stopped right in front of her. “I’ve missed you.” Nate lifted his hand and ran his thumb over her cheek and down over her lips.

“What are you doing, Nate?” she said as she banged her head against the wall.

Pushing his body against hers, so she could feel how hard he was right now, he leaned his head down to her ear, “I want to rip this robe off you, wrap your legs around my waist and slowly slide my cock into your tight pussy, baby. I want to hear you scream when I do that. It makes me harder just thinking about doing that right now.” Nate pushed open the robe near her belly and stroked his fingers there, “Are you wet, darling?” He glided his hand down over her stomach towards her pussy.

Skylar moved her hips closer to him. Sliding his finger through her folds, he circled her opening, spreading her juices over his finger. He started to rub her clit with his thumb, as she grabbed at his shirt and held on. “What do you want?” he growled into her ear.

“Oh God,” she moaned.

He pushed two fingers into her pussy, to the hilt. Pulling out slowly he pushed them back into her. Trying not to scream out at what he was doing, she bit her lip. “God Skylar, I want you so bad right now, just how I wanted to last night.” He sucked her earlobe when he said that.

Realizing what he had said, she pushed him away enough that she could look up at him. “Well if you wanted me so bad, you shouldn’t have slept with that girl you had in your room,” she said, sobbing. She pulled his fingers out of her pussy and tried not to shiver. She closed her robe and walked away from him and back to her room.
