Billionaire on Top: Chapter One

Allison

I'm staring at the building in front of me, a piece of paper in my hands, and I'm shaking.

Kayfox Industries is one of the largest marketing firms in the company and I've landed a job as the personal assistant to Trevor Fox, who runs this particular division.

Oh, and his father is the one who owns the company. No big deal.

I don't know why he chose me out of all the applicants. I don't even really believe that they actually chose me. Part of me worries that when I get inside, they'll tell me it was some sort of mistake and I'll have to leave.

But I'm gripping the email that confirms I got the job. It has my name on it along with my start date and the address for this office. I may not be much to look at in my cheap shoes and plain Jane outfit, but I'm going to prove myself today and every day. I'm going to make sure that Trevor doesn't regret the chance he took on me today.

I take one last deep breath, tell myself I can do this, and walk up the stairs to the building.

A doorman greets me politely and lets me inside. There's a security desk in the center of the room by the elevators. I walk toward it, not sure what to do now. Do I tell him my name? Do I explain where I'm going? Do I ask permission to use the elevators?

"Good morning," the security guard greets me politely. He raises an eyebrow, as if waiting for me to speak.

"Hi," I say. I'm gripping my email so hard that my knuckles are white. This guy must think I'm crazy. "I'm here to start work. It's my first day. I'm Trevor Fox's new assistant."

"Ah," the guard smiles. "Nice to meet you. You must be Allison. We heard you'd be coming." Now it's my turn to raise an eyebrow. This guy knew about me? Then again, it's probably his job to know everything about the people who come and go here.

"Can you tell me, um," I shift nervously from one foot to the other. "Where I go from here?"

He smiles kindly and pats me on the arm.

"Don't worry, Dear. You'll be just fine. Tenth floor." He nods toward the elevator and waits for me to slowly make my way over. I force my arm to raise up and push the button. There's a soft
ding
and the doors open. I look back to the guard who nods encouragingly. He smiles. He believes in me. Part of me wishes that I had that amount of confidence in myself. Deciding that I'm going to have to fake it until I make it, I step inside the doors and push the button for the tenth floor.

The ride seems to take no time at all, and within moments I'm walking across a small waiting room to a little desk. The woman who sits here seems to be barely 18. She's chewing gum loudly and texting someone. She doesn't even look up until I clear my throat
several
times.

"Can I help you?" She says, finally.

"Yes, I'm Mr. Fox's new assistant."

"Uh-huh."

She is unimpressed.

That’s fine. I’d probably be unimpressed by me, too.

"Can you tell me where I'm supposed to go?"

She points down the hallway to her right, my left, and I start walking. Pictures of the city line the walls. I try not to stop and stare, but the shots are so candid, so vivid, so
lifelike
that I find myself staring at them for longer than I anticipate.

"Lose your way?" A deep voice says, suddenly. I look up and see him. It's
him
. Trevor Fox is standing in the doorway, in the flesh. I swallow hard as I realize that his pictures didn't do him justice. He's taller than I expected and fills out his suit in all the very best ways. I wonder how much time he spends at the gym, if those abs really are as rippled as they appear to be.

"Mr. Fox," I say, quickly, taking a step forward and holding out my hand. There’s no time to feel nervous now. I have to make a good impression. I need this job. "I'm Allison Byard, your new-"

"I know who you are." He looks me up and down, taking his time. His gaze lingers over my breasts just a little too long. I feel myself start to blush, but he just smiles when I look up at him.

"I'm sorry about the delay," I say, trying to figure out exactly what words are and how to form them with my mouth. "I was just caught off guard by the pictures. They're lovely."

"So are you."

My eyes go wide. Did he really just? No. No way. I'd heard that he was a charmer, but this is much too much, much too fast. How am I ever going to work with this guy if I can't stop thinking about how quivery my clitoris suddenly is or how wet my panties are? How am I going to be able to take phone calls if I'm wondering whether he shaves or whether he'd let me blow him?

"It's just a compliment, Miss Byard. Don't look so shocked. You're a beautiful woman. I'm sure you know this."

I try not to freak out at how nonchalant he is about the entire thing. Maybe I am beautiful. I don't really know. I mean,
I
know, but it's been too long since someone
else
knew...sigh.

"Thank you, Mr. Fox."

"Shall we?" He steps back and opens the door to his office, extending his arm in invitation. I nod quickly and hurry into the room, practically collapsing into one of the chairs in front of his desk. It's all I can do to keep from going nuts.

I try to focus on my breathing as he moves around, making himself comfortable.

“Drink?” He asks from behind a small bar in the corner. He looks like he’s pouring some very expensive, very delicious, very amazing scotch.

Suddenly, I’m completely parched, but I don’t want to make a bad impression on my first day.

“No, thank you,” I say, but he obviously doesn’t believe me because he walks over two identical beverages and takes a seat, handing me one.

“I hate drinking alone,” he says with a wink as he takes a seat on the edge of his desk.

Deciding it would be rude to decline, I gingerly sip my drink, trying to avoid staring at his dick. He’s not exactly making it easy for me, though. Not at all. His bulge is only about two feet from my face. I could lean forward right now and just…

“Stare any harder at it and it’s going to jump in your mouth.”

“What?”

Oh shit.

Oh shit. Oh shit oh shit oh shit.

Trevor laughs as I blush about twelve shades of crimson. I can’t believe I was staring at his crotch so obviously…or that he caught me.

“It’s okay,” he begins.

“I am
so sorry
, Mr. Fox,” I interrupt, standing up and starting to pace. “I’m not normally like this. I’m just so nervous. I’m sorry. It will never happen again.” I down the rest of my drink, letting the scotch burn its way down my throat.

“Allison, calm down and take a seat.”

I nod and do as he tells me to, making sure to stare at his
eyes
this time. His eyes.

“Now, from what I hear, you were amazing at all of your interviews.”

“Thank you, Mr. Fox.”

“Do you have a lot of secretarial experience?”

“Not a lot,” I say hesitantly, deciding that it really is best not to lie. Chances are that he’d figure it out pretty quickly if I did.  “But I’m a fast learner and I know I’ll do a great job, Mr. Fox. I type 100 words per minute and I’m great with computers. I also spent a summer working at a bookstore, so I’m great with spreadsheets and business transactions.”

He waves his hand.

“Don’t worry about any of that. We have accountants for that sort of thing, Allison. What
I
need is a personal assistant. I already have a secretary. You’ve met Gina.” He rolls his eyes. “She’s awful, but she’s my cousin, and I gave her the job as a favor to my uncle. You understand.”

I nod.

“Your job,” he continues, “is going to be much more hands-on.”

“H-h-hands on?” My eyes dart quickly down to his cock and back to his face. The smirk on his mouth lets me know that he saw.

“Do you want to blow me, Allison?”

“Excuse me?”

“My cock. Do you want to suck it?” He motions to his crotch. “You can’t seem to take your eyes away from it. If you think you’d have an easier time listening with my dick down your throat, I’d be happy to oblige.” His eyes flash dark as he watches me, waiting to see what I’m going to do.

With that, I stand straight up. I have no problem looking him in the eye now. If he thinks I’m just some whore he can talk to like that, he’s sadly mistaken.

“Mr. Fox, I don’t know what type of girl you’re
used
to having work for you, but I assure you that I am no whore, nor do I have any interest
at all
in sucking your dick. I came here to be your assistant and I’m going to be the best damn one you could possibly have.”

“Good.” He stands up and meets my gaze, but he towers over me. He must be at least 6 feet tall. Maybe taller. I suddenly feel much smaller than my 5’6”. I suddenly feel like I’m very, very small. “I’m glad there isn’t going to be any drama.”

His eyes drill into mine, waiting for me to break away, but I don’t. I know this game he’s playing, and I have no interest. I’ve worked for childish assholes before. Trevor Fox isn’t going to be the last one.

He won’t get the best of me.

He won’t be the death of me.

He just might, however, be the death of my panties, which are completely soaked through.
