Alex watched as he raised her hips to pull off
the last of her clothes. Lying back beside her, moving again to her breasts,
she moaned and closed her eyes tight as he took her into his mouth. She wrapped
her arms around his head, trying to hold him to her. Each pull of his mouth
produced a rush of liquid heat, pooling low in her body, making her feel hot
and swollen with wanting.

He slid his hand down her body, reaching the
dark curls so close to where she burned for him. Watching her as he found her
moist heat, moving his fingers deeper, feeling her muscles clench around him.
Ty was so hard and heavy he didn’t know how much longer he could hold onto his
control. His body cried out for release, searching for fulfillment he knew
would only be found inside her.

“Do you want me, Alexandria?” he asked softly,
moving his hand seductively against her.

“Yes, Ty please!!” she panted, thrashing her
head on the bed, sending her hair spiraling around her. Wanting something she
didn’t even understand, she moved her hips under his hand, twisting on the bed,
seeking pressure to ease the ache.

Ty knew Alex was ready, reluctantly he moved
off the bed. She watched him through glassy eyes as he shrugged out of his
jeans. Her breath shuddered in anticipation, her insides melting as he kicked
them aside. Loving the hard angels of his body, she looked openly at him, unabashedly
satisfying her curiosity. Alex’s eyes followed every move he made, so lost in
the music he inspired, the notes he made her feel and hear, the sounds of the
symphony; the beating of their hearts, sounds of pleasure, of fully enjoying
each other. She was not embarrassed for watching him, he made her insides
twitch, his beauty tearing the breath from her lungs.

Moving over her, he nudged her legs apart to
reach the core of her. Alex bent forward and ran her tongue over the muscles of
his chest, her teeth nipping skin teasingly before lapping at his nipple.
Alex’s hands moved around to his back finding the roped muscles there she
smoothed her hands over them in a sensual massage. Running her nails down his
back, she couldn’t seem to control herself, she felt almost violent with the
emotion flowing through her.

Ty felt his balance of control slip as he
thrilled in the heat of her mouth on him. The feel of her body moving
uninhibited against his was eating away at what remained of his restraint. He
didn’t think he could wait any longer to take her, she was driving him crazy!

Alexandria felt his arousal pressing at the
entrance of her body; she tried to pull away as he lowered his hips.

“No,” he growled forcefully, grabbing her hips
to hold her to him. She froze. Silently cursing, he fought to keep still and
eased his hands from her hips. He shifted over her taking his weight on his
arms as he looked down at her, still breathing heavily.

“You have to trust me honey, give me your body
completely or I might hurt you without meaning to,” he spoke breathlessly.
Fisting his hands deep in her hair, he held her, eyes locked together, waiting
for her to accept him into her body, to let go and trust him.

Alex could feel her body and soul relaxing for
the last part of her journey home. She forced her muscles to loosen, trusting
fully that he would be there to take her over and find her if she got lost
again. She knew first times hurt, that wasn’t what scared her, knowing that
there was no turning back once she crossed this line did. She would belong to
Ty.

He leaned forward slowly, locking them
together, whispering huskily in her ear, “That’s it, take all of me. You belong
with me, Alex.” Feeling her muscles stretch to accommodate him, his heart
contracted, lost in the beauty of the moment.

When he reached the barrier hidden deep inside
her, he surged forward, nipping wickedly at her ear to take her mind away from
what he was doing. She cried out, unsure if it was pleasure she felt, or pain.
He kissed her open mouth, pouring his love into the kiss, trying to make up for
the pain he had caused her.

Alex felt the faint burn piercing through her,
but it dissipated faster than she had expected. With sorrow in his eyes, Ty
looked down at her and her heart skipped a beat.

She pulled her hand from his back and traced
his mouth with her fingertip, trailing down his chin and along his jaw. She
watched him close his eyes at her touch, as if savoring her attentions. It was
obvious to her that he didn’t like being responsible for her pain. She felt her
body pulsing around his, burning and stretching, slowly adjusting. He was
deliciously uncomfortable, deep inside of her; every breath he took teasing her
back to life.

He could barely contain his body’s demands to
move, but he held back, waiting for her to get used to his body’s invasion. Her
touch on his face had nearly shattered him. He saw the look in her eyes and
needed to believe it was love, not passion, he had seen there. This was so much
more than sex.

Alex watched him open his eyes to look down at
her.

“Well, is that it cowboy? If so, I want my
money back,” she replied, moving her hips suggestively to show him she wasn’t
as fragile as he thought.

He threw back his head and laughed. Only Alex
would make a joke in a situation like this. “Oh, you ain’t seen nothing yet,
lady!” he confidently boasted.

Ty moved his hips, taking pleasure from
everything her eyes revealed as they widened, surprised by what happened to her
body when he moved over her. She moved with him, trying to find, and match, his
rhythm. He felt her muscles clench around him as he slowly savored each stroke,
his eyes devouring her face. He surged forward, burying himself deep inside of
her.

She felt her body slip away from her as she
cried out, the pleasure racing through her, wave after wave hitting her body as
he drove into her. She felt as if she was floating toward some great unknown
with Ty as her only anchor. Just when she thought she couldn’t go on or she
might shatter, she felt her body convulsing erratically around him. She cried
out his name as the world fell away leaving just the two of them.

As he felt her release gripping them both, he
surged forward to claim his own. He cried out hoarsely, and threw back his head
feeling his body dragging him to oblivion, spinning the world on its axis.

She finally opened her eyes, savoring the feel
of him lying over her, deadweight. She ran her hands over him, her fingertips
perusing his damp skin. She knew hers would feel the same as she held him
tightly to her, thanking God that she was finally home.

Raising himself up, he tried to get his heart
rate down, it was still racing from their lovemaking. Rolling over, he brought
her along his side to hold her close. He couldn’t move, even if he wanted to,
which he didn’t. It was getting late and the others would be getting back soon.
He hadn’t slept much the night before. Seeing Alex lying so still on the ground
had really affected him, more than he had first thought. He just needed to rest
awhile.

“Ty?” she said softly, suspecting he had fallen
asleep.

She smiled to herself, knowing he was exhausted
from his late nights and that he would probably sleep most of the day away. She
decided to let him as she slipped off the bed and went to use his shower. She
stepped in, letting the hot spray wash over her, soothing her aching body.
Lusciously sore, she replayed everything Ty had done to her and her to him.

Smiling she shampooed her hair as she started
humming out a tune. By the time she stepped out of the shower, she realized she
had the start of a new love song spinning in her head. She wanted to remember
this moment, and the music they had created, always. The song a tribute to the
magic she had felt as they made love for the first time.

Wrapping the towel around her, she crept back
into Ty’s room. He was still sleeping soundly. Spying her shirt at the foot of
the bed, she retrieved it and pulled it on, glancing once more at Ty before
closing the door softly.

As she reached her room, she heard car doors
slam and could tell the others were home.

Going to her closet she yanked on a pair of
jeans and an oversized t-shirt. She pulled her hair back, securing it with a
clip; she didn’t want it falling in her face as she worked. Her fingers itched
to sit down at the piano. The song she had been humming screamed at her to be
written, it kept repeating itself in her mind. Grabbing her music paper, she
caught sight of her glasses, reminding her to pick them up and place them on
her face. Parry hadn’t mentioned how she had looked the night before, and if
she could throw him of the scent for a little while she would. Leaving her
room, she raced down the stairs to the den.

“Hey, where’s the fire?” Steven joked when Alex
flew down the steps as he was starting up. “Didn’t you get married this
morning? Where’s the happy hubby?” Steve wagged his eyebrows as he watched Alex
turn three shades of red before flying by.

She suddenly stopped on the stairs and turned
to Steven. She smiled sweetly at him, fluttered her lashes, and raised her
foot, kicking him hard in the shin.

“What the…? Alex!” he cried out.

He down to rub his sore shin and saw Parry just
below her on the steps, laughing at her well placed kick. When he turned to
hide his laughter, she drew her hand back and smacked the back of his head,
hard.

“Hey, what did I do?” he cried, rubbing his
scalp. “She sure is violent. Hope the boss knows what he’s gotten himself
into,” he said chuckling, watching Alex smile sweetly at them before heading
for the den.

“You two play nice, or I’ll make sure Max
grounds you,” Alex said in warning. She opened the door to the den, and turned
to glare at them.

“You’re going to work on your wedding day?”
Steven asked in disbelief.

“Yep, seems I can’t get a certain melody out of
my head.” She smiled smugly. After slamming the door in their faces, they heard
the lock slide into place.

Steven heard Ridge laughing behind him and
turned around. He started grinning. He knew he was wearing a goofy look on his
face, but he couldn’t seem to help himself.

“What are you so happy about, she kicked you?”
Parry questioned sourly still rubbing his head. He could not understand what
Steven had to be so chipper about. He watched as he rocked back on his heels,
starting to whistle a happy tune. Parry looked at Ridge hoping he would help
him out. He just shrugged his shoulders with a slight shake of his head.

“Can anyone say Grammy?” Steven said, beaming
at both of them. “I haven’t seen her like that since we first started working
together, and I know the perfect place for that shinny little award!” he said,
looking incredibly smug as he rubbed his hands together in glee.

“Think the boss is going to let her keep
working?” Ridge looked worried.

“You’re joking right?” Steven looked stunned.
“All jokes aside, he wouldn’t make her quit would he?” he questioned in horror.

He couldn’t stop her from performing; it would
be the end of his career! It's not that he didn’t have enough money, he had
enough from working with Fire to last him the rest of his life. It was just the
thought of never being in front of an audience again that bothered him. This
was bad, why hadn’t he seen this coming?

“What are the two of you talking about?” Parry
asked confused. Wearing a puzzled look on his face, he turned from one to the
other and back again. Parry threw up his hands and headed for the kitchen when
neither one answered.

“Ridge, tell me your joking, please! He
wouldn’t make her give it up?” he pleaded.

Steven didn’t want to lose what the band had;
they had fought their way up in the music industry and to just throw it away
was incomprehensible.

“The question you should be asking is would she
give it up for him?” Ridge said, moving to the kitchen and leaving him to
consider what he’d said.

Chapter Nine

Waking up, Ty stretched his sore muscles. He
knew they were tight from sleeping in a chair next to Alex’s bed last night.
When his muscles had protested, excruciatingly, around four in the morning, he
had finally given up on the chair and stretched out next to her. Not opening
his eyes, he reached out for her. Finding only empty space, he cracked an
eyelid and raised his head, he was alone. He rolled onto his back glancing at
his watch he saw it was close to noon.

Disorientated, he looked around. Confused, he
saw he was back in his own room; then he remembered the wedding ceremony and
making love to her. It hit him like a sledgehammer. He actually felt the room
whirl around him, making him glad he was still lying down. He was married!

Ty groaned aloud at what he had done. Raising a
hand up to cover his eyes, he replayed the events in his head. He couldn’t
believe he had let Max goad him into marrying her. He hadn’t even considered
Alex and what she wanted. He had done exactly what Max had probably anticipated
he would do, and run rough shod over her feelings, completely ignoring her
wishes.

“Some way to start a marriage,” he told
himself. Rolling out of bed, he headed for the shower, wanting to wash away the
kinks before he found Alex, if she hadn’t already left the ranch. He froze,
considering the possibility of her leaving him; it made his heart stop in
terror. That wasn’t an option. He would not let it happen. He did not believe
in giving up on anything so divorce was out. They would find a way to make it
work, Max or no Max.
