Li Jing writes an email to Lorrie.

Dear Mrs Russell,

Blessings on you and your new home. It looks beautiful and you deserve the happiness I am sure it will bring you and your family. In China we perform the Feng Shui Orange Peel Blessing – the words ‘orange' and ‘good luck' are similar in our language.

Peel an orange in a bowl of water and sprinkle the water around the doors and windows to remove negativity and enable joy to enter. As you do it, recite the powerful mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum'. Make sure your husband is not at home!

My dearest fellow mother, I attach the latest photograph of our blessing and joy.

Your loving Li Jing
