“Buzz, please.” Her eyes searched his. “I can't survive without coffee."

“Black—no milk or sugar."

“Thank you."

“I can hardly see your nipples, Teach. Pull your shoulders back and pinch the little buggers ‘till they stick out like they did in my basement."

“Here? Okay, damn it. Shit."

Maggie came through her office door and caught Buzz's attention.

“Looks like my fucking partner is ready to spread her legs, Teach. I'll see you about one or two o'clock in the morning. You make damned sure I'm pleased with the work you've done when I get home, and remember—you work naked except for your underwear."

“How's it going, Slave?"

Deborah jumped and whirled around. “You scared me. I wasn't expecting you back so soon. What time is it?"

Buzz checked his watch. “About eleven-thirty. She wouldn't give me any—not even a blowjob. Claimed she's menstruating. We played several rounds of miniature golf at the Dollars’ playground and she called it a night."

“Are you going to spend the day with her tomorrow?"

“Nah. She and Greta do something together every Sunday. Girl stuff, Maggie calls it. I think they may be lesbians, eating each other all day."

“Greta?"

“The Dollar's housekeeper—at least, she used to be."

“Oh, the woman who lived with that awful Eddie Crow."

Buzz nodded. “When do you have your period, Teach?"

“I, uh, don't do much but a little spotting, now that my tubes are tied. It starts near the first of the month."

He shook his head and began to laugh. “You look terrible. You're filthy. Even your tits are dirty. Let's see what you've accomplished."

She gestured towards the furnace area. “I think you'll find your empty corner spotless. I even scrubbed the rafters and pipes like you told me. Your stepladder is not quite tall enough. I had to stand on the very top and I almost fell several times.” She stumbled and caught herself.

“What's wrong?"

“Nothing. Well, that's not true. I'm not used to all this physical work and I seem to be very weak from eating so little."

He sneered. “You'll survive. Have you found anything you think I can sell in a yard sale?"

“I just started on that corner of the basement when you came home, but I have found a couple of things that may be worth something—but not at a yard sale."

“Show me."

She led him to a wooden child's toy box and opened the hinged top.

“My Hot Wheels!” he exclaimed as he reached into the box and selected a miniature car at random.

“I was going to get them all out and clean them up. They seem to be in good condition."

“Hell, I'd forgotten all about these things. When I was a kid, I used to save every dollar I could get to buy these toys—Hot Wheels and baseball cards. I wonder what happened to my baseball card collection?"

“It's over here,” she said as she stumbled forward, “in this metal box."

As he pushed open the top she continued, “They're wrapped in plastic. I think they're in perfect condition."

He reached into one of the plastic bags and pulled out a Babe Ruth card. “Why do you say I can't sell these things in a yard sale?"

“Well, you can sell them that way, but Buzz, I think the Hot Wheels and baseball cards may be worth a considerable amount of money. You should have an expert appraise them before you offer them for sale."

“You may be right, Teach. Dad has a ton of old
Playboy
and
Hustler
magazines in the chiffonier. I think they might be worth something too."

“I saw them,” she said. “I may as well show you something else."

As she started towards the large piece of furniture she again stumbled and fell to her knees. “You really are tired, Teach."

She nodded as he helped her up and pointed to three copies of
Slut
magazine lying on top of the dresser. “I was featured in four issues. You found one. There are the other three."

“I'm surprised, Teach. If it were me, I think I would have hidden these in hopes of destroying them later."

“You already have one. Three more won't make a difference. Besides, I'm dealing from the top of the deck. I hope you are too."

He looked at her and, for just a moment, she thought she saw a hint of kindness in his eyes.

“Three weeks of absolute obedience, Teach. That was the agreement. There's no point in you staying any longer tonight. You're too tired to get anything else done."

“You want me to go home?"

He nodded, still glancing through the magazines. He looked up. “Something wrong?"

“I just thought you would want me to spend the night with you."

“I'm not interested in your body, Teach. I told you that. Take your clothes home with you, but don't put them on. You'll get them dirty."

“Surely you don't want me to drive home naked?"

“Of course not. You may keep on your panties. Get your ass back over here in the morning. Wear something that will turn on the male customers at the Korner Kafe at lunchtime. I want breakfast in bed—pancakes, I think—no later than six o'clock."

He dug into his pants and produced a house key. He pulled her panties a couple of inches from her body and dropped the key into her crotch. “I don't like the pubic hair sticking out like that at all,” he said.

She nodded. “I'll take care of it.” She paused before going up the steps. “Buzz?"

“What is it?” He was again studying the photographs in
Slut
magazine.

“You don't need to have a yard sale to raise money."

“You have a better idea?"

“I already told you I will give you whatever you need."

He moved behind her and squeezed the cheeks of her buttocks. “I already told
you
, Teach. I don't want sex or money from you."

She grimaced.

“Still hurts?"

“Yes. I learned my lesson. You won't ever have to use that thing on me again."

Chapter Fourteen

After eating a picnic lunch, Tim Junior returned to the creek, panning for gold. Maggie, Greta and Sewana lounged on the creek bank and watched the eager youngster.

“Honest, Sewana. We usually find gold. We're just not having much luck today."

“It doesn't matter, Greta. It's good just to get out in the sun for a while."

“I'm real sorry about what Eddie done to you."

“It wasn't your fault, Greta. Thank God that bastard will never hurt anybody again."

Maggie threw a pebble into the slowly moving water. “Tell us about your new boarder, Greta."

“Ain't much to tell. His name is Hank Elkins and he come here from Charlotte. Frank hired him. He needed a place to stay and I have a spare room."

“What does he look like? Is he a hunk?” Sewana asked with a twinkle in her eye.

“He ain't no hunk, but he ain't bad looking either. He's about Eddie's size but he ain't hairy like Eddie was. He said he used to have a big ol’ gut, but his belly is plumb flat now. Course, if he keeps throwing back them beers like he done last night he'll have a potbelly again in no time."

Maggie smiled and stuck a long blade of grass between her teeth. “You getting any, Greta?"

Greta blushed and avoided an answer. “Poor guy's working on the front yard. Me and Eddie was gonna leave it wild, but Hank pointed out all the dogwoods. He said the brambles and weeds was stunting their growth. He's gonna clean everything out except the dogwoods and a few small cedars and maybe plant some flowering cherry trees out there."

Sewana sat up. “That will be pretty, Greta."

She nodded. “Says he's gonna fix up the garage and paint it and the house before cold weather sets in."

Maggie laughed. “Want to trade renters? Frank hasn't done a damn thing around my house since he moved in."

“I reckon Frank's awful busy with his new business. Sides, part of Hank's rent is looking after the place."

“How do you like working for Frank?"

Greta shook her head. “Don't know yet. Yesterday was my first day and I took a couple hours off while I got Hank settled in. Me and Hank went on back to the garden shop and I waited on a bunch of people while him and Frank was out back working on the greenhouse. I reckon I done okay, but the cash register scares me."

“Who did the Dollars find to replace you as their housekeeper?” Sewana asked.

“Some skinny fella from Charlotte. Name's Ronald Ascue. Them Dollars is getting’ highfalutin. They call him their butler. Lives right there in the house with them in the two back bedrooms.” Greta giggled. “I think the man has a thing for Tim."

“Speaking of work, Maggie, I appreciate you letting me try my hand as assistant manager,” Sewana said as she rubbed dried grass from her chocolate thighs.

“It's just temporary, Sewana, but if you do well, it could become permanent."

“Mr. Bennett took the breakup with Dottie hard, didn't he?"

“I'm afraid so. He was very depressed yesterday morning. I'm hoping that he will see things differently after a few days rest, but he sounded like he was seriously thinking of selling the place. My guess is that if he does sell, the new owner will keep the present staff. Hell, he can't run the restaurant and motel single-handedly."

“Why don't you buy it, Maggie?” Greta asked.

Maggie laughed as she stood up and brushed grass from the bottom of her bathing suit. “What do you suggest I use for money?"

Greta stood and pulled Sewana to her feet. “Maybe we'll find a big nugget you can sell."

Maggie shook her head. “Not with the luck we're having today. Girls, I hate to be a party pooper, but I've had it."

“Got a heavy date this afternoon with Buzz?” Sewana teased.

“I may never go out with that son-of-a-bitch again."

“What happened? I thought you was sweet on Buzz,” Greta said.

Maggie lowered her eyes and her voice. “I was horny. That's all there was to it. I wasn't in the mood last night and the asshole damn near raped me. He wanted to sodomize me! That will never happen! I kneed the scumbag in the balls and told him I never want to see him again."

“Still,” Greta observed, “he's a hell of a good looking man, and taking it up the butt-hole ain't so bad if you play with yourself while he's getting your shit on his dick. Maybe you ought to give him another chance."

Maggie laughed politely, but the serious expression on her face did not change. “I imagine he got what he wanted last night from somebody else."

Sewana smiled. “Do I sense the green-eyed monster of jealousy lurking nearby?"

“Hell, no. She is welcome to him."

“Who?” Greta asked.

“That snooty school principal."

“Deborah Andrews?” Greta and Sewana asked simultaneously.

Maggie nodded. “When I came out of my office last night, Buzz was waiting for me at one of the tables. Dr. Andrews was sitting with him. She's had a severe haircut and was dressed like a teenager. With him sitting there watching, she was toying with her nipples. Can you believe that?"

* * * *

“How'd it go, Teach?” Buzz asked as Deborah descended the basement steps.

“I must have figuratively kissed two hundred asses at the Korner Kafe, Buzz. Either I'm getting used to it or the responses weren't so cutting today.” She sat on the bottom step and began removing her shoes.

“Anybody feel you up on this holy day?” he laughed.

“One,” she replied.

“Who?"

“You're not going to believe it—Sandra Dollar. They didn't have the kid with them today—said he was out with Maggie and others panning for gold."

Buzz laughed. “Panning for gold? So that's what she does on her Sundays. What did Sandy do?"

“Slipping her hand under the table, she pushed my panties into my vagina and masturbated me while the two of them sweetly carried on a meaningless conversation. So help me, Buzz, I think Tim knew what she was doing."

He laughed. “Did you get off on it?"

She blushed and lowered her voice. “Yes, damn it, and she knew it. I think both of them did. They invited me to come to their place this afternoon and do some fishing in one of their ponds."

“Sounds like they want to share you,” Buzz said.

Her halter-top was halfway off when she realized what he said. “Oh, God. Please, Buzz. Don't make me do that."

He shook his head. “That kind of sexual abuse is not what I have planned for you, Teach. Besides, it wouldn't be any fun if I were not there to watch."

She bent over and placed the halter top on her shoes, holding the pose for him to enjoy her dangling breasts, but he wasn't looking.

“The pancakes were good this morning,” he said. “It surprised me. I would not have thought of you as much of a cook."

She let the miniskirt drop to her ankles.

“You did a good job on that corner this morning,” he said, nodding towards the empty space. “I threw the trash out back, but we have a growing pile of junk people might buy in the corner you cleaned last night. Get your ass busy scrubbing while I work on the third corner. Hell, Teach, we may finish the basement by suppertime."

“The choir's anthem this morning was super, Frank,” June said as they sat on her sofa.

“And my little solo was the best part, right?"

“Of course,” she said as she hugged him.

He fondled her breast and buried his tongue between her willing lips.

“I love you so much, Frank Skinner."

“That makes it nice, Lovely Lady, because I love you more than I ever thought it possible to love anyone."

She watched as he unbuttoned her blouse. “Do you think Mrs. Andrews is pretty?"

He smiled sheepishly. “You saw me looking at her butt at the Korner Kafe, didn't you?"

She nodded as she shrugged the blouse from her shoulders.

“I'm still a man. She went to every table and bent over, wiggling her ass and shaking her tits. You can bet your last nickel she knew every guy in the place was staring."

She reached behind her and unfastened the brassiere hook. “You looked at her boobs, too, when she came to our table."

He laughed as he pulled the bra away from her body. “The damn things nearly fell out of her halter when she leaned over to shake hands."
