While he’s gone, I wander around the main floor of the house first. I come across a black, grand piano in a small room and run my fingers over the keys. I wonder if Marc plays or if it’s just for decoration. I kind of hope he can play, because I’d love to watch him.

I walk through and admire the beautiful kitchen until my phone rings from the other room. I rush to the living room I left it in, but by the time I get there, it’s stopped ringing. When I pull it out of my purse, I notice the missed call is from Lincoln.

Before I can decide whether I’m going to call him or not, it rings again in my hand.

“Hello?”

“Thalia, where are you, baby? I thought you were coming back into town today.”

“I am in town. I’m sorry I forgot to call you.”

“It’s okay. I just went by your place and figured you’d be there. Where are you?”

Shit. I don’t know how he’ll react once he knows I’m with Marc, but if this three-way thing is going to work, I know honesty is key.

“I’m at Marc’s house.”

I wait as he stays silent for a while. I hate not knowing what he’s thinking.

“Marc’s house?” he asks, emphasizing each word.

I bite down on my thumb nail. “Yeah.”

“He invited you to his house?”

“The other day, actually, but I was out of town. When I got back, I came over.”

“What are you…what’s…why?” he stammers, seemingly unsure of what he wants to ask.

“I don’t know. He asked me to come, so I came. Are you mad at me for being here?”

He pauses before blowing out a soft sigh. “No. I’m not mad at you. I just want to know what’s going on.”

“Well, maybe I’ll find out while I’m here.”

“I don’t want to lose you, Thalia,” he says gently.

“You’re not losing anybody.”

“I don’t know,” he says, sounding a bit defeated.

“You and Marc both need to stop this angry, I-don’t-want-to-talk-about-my-feelings bullshit. Okay, I get it. You’re men. You’re both big, strong men, but you have feelings for each other. Just admit it and then we can move on. Nobody knows how anybody feels, and that’s ridiculous. What happened to trusting each other and being honest?”

“Is he there listening to you?”

“No, he’s not,” I huff.

“Where is he, then?”

“He had something to do.”

“Something he couldn’t take you to, because none of his friends are allowed to know he’s seeing anybody? That’s the fucking problem, Thalia. You’re still being hidden, and you’re a woman!”

“Stop getting so worked up, it’s not like that. Somebody’s in trouble and he’s being nice. I wouldn’t have gone if he had offered to take me.”

“I don’t like this,” Lincoln says lowly.

“You don’t like what?”

“Ugh. Nothing. Forget it,” he growls. “I hope you two have fun.”

“Lincoln, please.”

“No, it’s fine. I’m…I gotta go. I love you, T. I do, but I just don’t know about this. Maybe Marc was right. There’s too much mistrust.”

“Mistrust? What do you mean? You don’t want me and him to be alone?”

“It’s not that. I just want to know where I am in all this.”

“That’s why you need to talk.”

“I gotta go. I’ll talk to you later.”

“Okay, Linc. I’ll call you later on, okay?”

“Yeah,” he says on a sigh.

“I love you.”

“I know. I love you, too.”

Five minutes after I hang up with Lincoln, Marc sends me a text.

Marc:
I’ll be there soon. Emilie’s with me.

Me:
Is it okay that I’m here?

Marc:
Of course.

Me:
Maybe I’ll wait for you in your room. I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable.

Marc:
Whatever you want to do, but you don’t have to hide.

For some reason, that makes me smile. He’s bringing one of his friends over and he isn’t worried about her seeing me. Maybe he’s coming around.

I decide to be upstairs anyway, because I don’t want the situation to become awkward for this woman as soon as she walks in. I know nobody knows about me or Lincoln, and there’s no reason to hash it all out as soon as she steps in the door.

Finding Marc’s room takes a minute because I seem to open every door that’s not his.

Nice, clean bathroom. Check.

Nice office. Check.

Spare bedroom. Check.

When I get to his room, I know it’s his right away.

The walls are black, but it’s not as dull as you would assume. He has large black and white art pieces on the walls, and his bed is covered with a white comforter, and black throw pillows. It’s masculine, it’s sexy, it’s tasteful, it’s all Marc.

I find myself heading towards his bed, and rub my hands across the softness of the covers. I flop onto my back and envision all the things we can do on this wide bed. Definitely room for three in here.

A noise downstairs startles me before I realize it’s probably just Marc and Emilie arriving. I get into sitting position on the bed and wait for him. A few minutes later, he swings the door opens and smiles when he sees me.

“I see you found my room.”

“I did.”

“My bed looks much better with you on it.”

“I look better with you on me.”

He laughs and shakes his head while walking towards me.

“We can arrange that.”

“Yeah?”

“Mm,” he moans, crawling over me and kissing my neck.

“Where’s your friend?”

“She’s checking out the place.”

“Is she okay?”

“She’s fine. She’s a little spooked because it seems someone got into her place and took her keys. The same woman who put her in the hospital. She didn’t feel safe there tonight, and didn’t want to wait for a locksmith.”

“Understandable.”

“I’m going to show her to her room here in a minute, and then I’ll be back up.” He gets off the bed and starts walking to the door. When he gets there, he turns around. “Lincoln called me.”

“Oh?” I ask.

“I didn’t answer, though. I was driving.”

“I talked to him,” I admit.

“What did he have to say?”

“He’s just…curious.”

“Curious?” he asks, cocking his head to the side.

“About where he stands, I guess.”

“Hmm.” He looks like he’s about to say something, but then changes his mind. “I’ll be back.”

He’s only gone about ten minutes before he returns. I’m lying in the middle of his bed, and he kicks off his shoes and climbs next to me.

“Hey,” he says with a smile.

“Hey,” I reply, turning my body towards him.

“I really like having you in my bed. I’ve never had anyone in here before.”

“Really?” I ask, surprised.

“Yep.”

“Is it weird that I kind of like that?” I ask with a grin.

He lets out a chuckle. “No. I figured you would.”

“So, about what you were saying earlier,” I start, wanting to get back to our conversation before he got a phone call.

“What was I saying?” he teases, running his finger along my neck, sending chills over my body.

“Umm,” I breathe, trying not to imagine his fingers going other places on my body. “About our time apart.”

He stops his teasing and looks at me. “I can’t be without you, Nathalia. I won’t be.”

“I don’t want to be without you either, Marc,” I admit.

“Nathalia.” I love the way my name sounds coming from his lips. So much feeling was put into that one word. He cups my cheek in his hand and I watch his eyes move over my face. He’s studying my eyes, my nose, my lips, everything. It’s like he’s afraid I’m going to disappear right in front of him. “I love you, Nathalia.”

My heart goes into overdrive and my body fills with heat. I feel the butterflies take flight in my stomach, and I replay those words in my head a few times before responding.

“Oh, Marc. I love you,” I say before throwing my arms around his neck.

We stay tangled in each other for a while. While this is an amazing moment for the both of us, we both know there’s another person we have to think about.

I pull away, and sit myself in front of him. It’s time to have a serious talk, and I’m almost afraid to have it for fear it’s going to ruin everything.

“Marc, I have to be honest with you.” I take a breath, and he nods, waiting for me to continue. I can see a bit of apprehension in his face as he waits. “I love Lincoln, too.”

I wait for his response, hoping I didn’t just kill the moment completely.

“I know you do.”

Relief fills me. “You do?”

“Of course. It’s evident, and I was able to witness the love grow once we all became intimate. You two have a great friendship, and that’s always important in any relationship. Once you became intimate, it was obvious that the love between you grew even more.”

“It’s not weird for you?” I ask.

“I can see how you would think it would be, but it’s not. I get it. I believe it’s possible to love two people at once.”

I nod my head, but I can’t help but wonder if he believes that because he loves Lincoln, too. Neither one of them want to admit their feelings, nor are they even talking to each other. I know I’m going to have to do something about this, otherwise this won’t work. I can’t lose either one of them, but I can’t be with them both without them being together. It would feel wrong.

“You know you have to talk to Lincoln, right?”

He sighs. “Yes, I know.”

“It just feels weird being with you guys alone and knowing you two aren’t talking to each other. Almost like I’m cheating on you both. I don’t like that feeling.”

“We’re both aware of the situation, Nathalia.”

“I know you are, but I know Lincoln isn’t happy right now.”

He blows out a puff of air and runs his hands over his face. “Okay, but I don’t want to talk about it right now.”

When he removes his hands from his face, he quickly turns over, laying his body over mine.

“And what do you want to talk about?” I ask playfully.

“I don’t want to talk at all,” he growls.

“Not even if I talk about how much I want your dick inside of me?”

“Nathalia.” His voice is rough. “I’ve been wanting to be inside of you for too long now. If you keep talking like that, I’m not going to be able to be gentle with you.”

“Who says I want gentle, anyway? You know I love it when you’re rough with me.”

My own voice has become low and throaty. I’ve been craving his aggressive touches. When we have sex, it’s carnal, raw, and animalistic. I can’t get enough of it. Of him.

“Then rough is what you’re going to get,” he growls, sending waves of anticipation through me. “But I want to feel all of you. Nothing in between.”

It takes a second and then I realize what he means. “I got on birth control a few months ago, and Lincoln and I both were tested at the same time.”

“Good,” he rasps.

While he strips the clothing from his body, I do the same. Almost immediately, he’s on me. In me. Filling me, and consuming me.

He pulls back, resting on his knees, and the head of his cock resting inside of me. His large hands touch my inner thighs, and his eyes meet mine. I know what’s about to happen, but he pauses, keeping me waiting. Suddenly, his hands are gone and then back with one quick slap.

“Ah!” I yell, enjoying the small bite of pain.

His cock moves inside me. He clearly enjoys my reaction.

Marc thrusts into me, driving his cock deep inside while lifting my legs in the air. I rest them on his shoulders and he brings his thumb to my clit and begins rubbing circles. It doesn’t take long before I’m pulsing around his cock, my arousal coating his thick length.

“Fuck, yes, Nathalia!” he bellows.

Once my orgasm ceases, he flips me over, grips my waist, and thrusts in from behind. He fills me completely, and my pussy throbs around him. Marc spanks me a few times, and the scream that comes from my throat thunders through the room. I hope his friend isn’t in a room close to his.

I feel the pressure to come again building within me. Bringing my hand to my clit, I rub myself while he pummels me from behind. His grunts turn me on, and his sporadic hits make my pussy wet. He leans over my back and wraps a hand around my throat, and I know I won’t last long now.

“You like when I’m rough, baby?”

“Fuck, Marc,” I growl, ferociously rubbing my clit. “I love it.”

His right hand tightens around my throat and his left hand hits my thigh, and then I’m falling.

That’s what it feels like, like I’m in a roller coaster, falling a hundred feet straight down. Another scream is ripped from my throat, and his hand moves from my neck to my mouth, stifling the sound. That only turns me on even more, and I grunt and groan against his palm.

His thrusts quicken and then his body tenses up. “Oh fuck, baby.”

I throw my ass back, impaling myself on his cock as he comes inside me. “Yes, yes,” I cry out, craving his come.

His dick pulsates within me. We stay connected for a few moments before he pulls out and we both collapse next to each other. Him on his back, me on my stomach.

“God, that was good,” I pant out.

“Yes it was.”

“My throat hurts from all that screaming,” I laugh.

“Want me to get you something to drink?” he asks.

“I can get us something,” I say, forcing myself to roll over. “Can I wear your shirt? I don’t want to put that sweater dress back on. I’m still hot.”

He laughs and grabs his shirt from the floor and tosses it to me. “I have bottled water, Gatorade, and juice in the fridge. Just grab whatever you like and bring me a couple bottles of Gatorade.”

“A couple?”

“I know I’m going to drink that first one pretty fast,” he says with a grin.

“Okay. I’m going to use your bathroom first. Do you have any boxers or anything that I could wear under this? I’d hate to run into her down there and not have anything on under this shirt.”

He gets up from the bed in all his naked glory, his cock still semi hard, and grabs some boxers from his dresser.

“You can wear these. You might have to fold them, but they should do the trick.”

“Thanks,” I reply, grabbing the shorts and heading for the bathroom.

When I get done, Marc takes my place and I head downstairs.

I walk down the stairs and through the entry way, making my way to the kitchen. Before I’m fully inside, I hear a voice.
