The probability of her being pregnant was slim but possible, because she’d just completed the antibiotics her dentist prescribed
before performing her upcoming root canal. She was intelligent. “Damn, you know better,” she scolded herself aloud. She clearly
understood the pharmacist when she’d said, “If you’re sexually active and are taking oral contraceptives, make sure you use
protection because antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills.” Contraceptives also decreased a woman’s sex
drive, but the foods Nikki ate kept her libido high.

Nikki didn’t need the pharmacist to tell her what she’d already known. What Nikki didn’t know was whether or not she wanted
a baby. Some days she did. Other times, like when she was flying and a screaming kid wouldn’t shut up, she wanted to have
her tubes tied and burned. If she was with child, could she abort it? Tightening her lips, Nikki forced back her tears. There’d
be no love in the appetizers she’d managed to somehow piece together. Hopefully, her clients would generously partake more
in the libations and eat less.

Returning belowdecks to the dining area, Nikki neatly arranged the fruit, placing dark chocolate roses around the platters’
perimeters. She placed the fresh strawberries in the center, then sprinkled edible chocolate rosebuds between the strawberries.
A white-chocolate replica of the yacht drifted on five gallons of chilled blue curaçao in a medallion-shaped crystal bowl.

“Please don’t sink,” she whispered, carefully placing a miniature fluffy red-velvet cake replica of the owner’s bed atop the
back of the white-chocolate yacht. “Perfect.” Floating real freshwater pearls in the blue liquor around the yacht display,
Nikki was almost done.

“Whew, I don’t know how I pulled this one off,” she said as her phone rang. Donna’s number appeared again.

Reluctantly she answered, “Hello.”

“Hey, Nikki. This is Donna. We need to talk.”

“Let me call you back,” Nikki said, ending the call before Donna replied. Best if she waited until Lexington picked her up
from the airport to fill her in on what the heck was going on.

“Nikki, this is marvelous. I love it!” the owner belted out. “You, my love, are worth your weight in diamonds. My guests are
going to love me.”

Oh, shit!
Breathing deeply to calm her racing heart, she hadn’t heard him come aboard. His overwhelming approval was all she needed.

“Thanks, I hate to run, but I have to catch my flight back to Miami to prepare for my client tomorrow. If you have any questions,
call me on my cell,” Nikki said, then left.

The flight into Miami got Nikki in on time. Wearing wide-framed sunglasses and a white halter-top ankle-length sundress, she
exited the plane. Dashing into the restroom, Nikki refreshed her red glossy lipstick, then hurried to baggage claim, where
Lexington stood next to her suitcase.

“Hurry” was all he’d said before he whisked her off to his limo.

Relaxing in the backseat, Nikki quietly reclined in Lexington’s arms. Pressuring him to talk would make him shut down completely.
She’d wait until he was ready. They arrived at their favorite destination. Lexington flashed his VIP Black Card Membership
and they were escorted to their reserved canopy bed mounted in the white crystal sand of South Beach.

Nikki untied her halter, exposing her breasts to the dissipating sunshine as she watched Lexington’s white linen pants taper
over his bulging dick. His beautiful locks flowed over his shoulders toward his tight ass. Lexington was gorgeous—more so
on the inside, to her. Nikki wondered but refused to ask what had happened in his marriage to make him stop making love to
Donna for years. After all, Donna was the mother of his children. Some questions were better left unanswered.

“I don’t want to talk about Donna. I just need to be with you,” he said, as if reading her thoughts.

Lexington leaned against the huge white pillow and Nikki comfortably nestled into his arms. Her lips caressed his. Watching
the sunset, Nikki softly kissed Lexington again and again. Passionately she pressed her outer lips against his, holding them
there for a sacred moment. Partially opening her mouth, Nikki rolled the soft inner parts of her lips over the outer part
of his lips. Gently she eased the tip of her tongue into his mouth, savoring his taste buds like his tongue was the sugar
sticks in her mojito.

“Why am I so damn crazy over you? Umm, you taste so succulent,” Nikki whispered into Lexington’s mouth as his tongue delicately
swapped places with hers. Lexington’s tongue traced her outer lips, her inner lips, then eased over her taste buds. His hand
roamed over her breasts. The ocean breeze swept inside her nostrils, causing her to gasp with pleasure. He caressed her hair.
Should she have married Lexington instead of marrying Herschel? Lexington and Nikki would’ve definitely been a power couple,
like Brian and Michelle. But Nikki—no matter how hard she’d tried—could never be as devoted to any man as Michelle was to
Brian. Or maybe like Nikki, Michelle kept her private life private too.

As the sun began to set into a blend of pink and mauve hues dancing upon the shimmering ocean, Lexington said, “Let’s go to
your condo. I need to taste your pussy.”

He didn’t have to ask twice. Nikki’s hideaway was a short walking distance, one block away from Nikki Beach. Lexington knew
to wait fifteen minutes before making his way to her place, giving her time to pleasantly surprise him. Now, if Herschel were
really smart, he’d know that his wife owned several properties, one in South Beach, two in Hawaii, one in New York, another
in San Juan, and a few others. With the exception of her condo in South Beach, Nikki comped her other places to her top clients.
But that wasn’t Herschel’s business, and her real estate sure as hell wasn’t bought with his money.

Lexington tapped on the unlocked door to her condo, then entered. Nikki was so excited—instead of showering without him, she
eagerly awaited her man. Hungrily her open mouth greeted his. Unbuttoning his shirt, Nikki showered kisses all over his chest.
They stumbled to the bathroom, where Lexington’s pants soon sat on the floor with each leg forming perfect circles.

Nikki turned on the shower, then stepped inside. Her body was drenched with warm water as Lexington teased her nipples. Lifting
her thigh beside his hip, Nikki said, “Pick me up.” She glided her hand to caress his hard dick, slipped his shaft inside
her creamy pussy, then moaned, “Just what I fuckin’ needed.”

“Me or my dick?” Lexington asked, fucking Nikki and slamming his nuts into the crevice of her butt.

“Both,” Nikki said, hugging his neck. “But if you go any deeper, these sperms won’t have to swim to my eggs either. You’re
fucking like you want me to have your baby.”

“Nikki, you are so crazy. I don’t want to pull out, baby, but you’re right. I should get a condom,” he said. Penetrating her
deeper, Lexington did not want to pull his dick out of her pussy, but he would if Nikki insisted.

“This big-ass dick is so fucking good… I think we’ll be okay. Just pull out before you come.”
Slap!
Before Nikki realized what she’d done, her palm landed against Lexington’s face.

“Damn, baby. Chill on that shit. That’s you and Herschel doing that aggressive role-playing. I don’t get down like that. You
gon’ make me put my dick in reverse if you do that again.”

“It’s just so good, I wanna fucking cry!” Nikki screamed, bouncing her ass onto his shaft. Her wet breasts slid back and forth
from Lexington’s mouth to his hairy chest.

“I know, baby. I know. I know this pussy. My dick print is all over you. He craves you. This is my pussy. I can hit this sweet,
creamy ass backward and forward, but I don’t want to come inside you again without a condom. Get down and suck my dick,” Lexington
said, sitting her on the built-in shower bench.

Nikki sat on the bench under the flowing water and began kissing Lexington’s head. She smeared the precum onto her mouth like
lipstick. Wrapping her hand around the base of his shaft, she palm-rolled his dick like dough, then sucked the head.

“Get up,” Lexington said. “I don’t wanna come in the shower. Let’s go out on the balcony.”

Stepping out of the shower, Nikki reached for a towel. Lexington covered her hand, then said, “Leave it.” He picked up the
jojoba oil, slicked her body all over, then did the same to his. Leading her through the bedroom, bypassing the bed, Lexington
opened the patio door.

“Relax in the hammock,” he said.

Nikki leaned back and waited. The warm breeze blowing from the ocean made Nikki tingle all over. Lexington began massaging
her feet.

“Did you notice?” he asked, staring up into her eyes.

“What?” Nikki asked, trying to sit up and get a glance at his dick.

“Lay down,” he said, smiling. Looking up at the sky, he pointed.

“Aw, yes. I see. You know that’s the beauty of living in South Beach,” Nikki said.

The half moon illuminated the sky, but no matter how brightly the moon glowed, the moon could never outshine the North Star.
How romantic and powerful. Resembling a starfish in the sky, the North Star, like Nikki, seemingly stood alone. Her husband
was not married to her. Her childhood sweetheart was married to Donna.

Lexington sucked her pinky toe, then slowly licked each of her toes until his mouth surrounded her big toe. Nikki shivered
with pleasure. Gently gliding her toe in and out of his mouth, Lexington caressed the arch of her foot, then said, “I should’ve
married you instead of marrying Donna. What happened to us, Nikki? We were so good for one another. To one another.” Lexington
kissed her ankles, then lifted her legs. His tongue danced behind her knee, softly suctioning the crevice.

Nikki trembled. “We happened to us, remember?” Looking down at Lexington, she continued speaking. “You wanted a baby; I didn’t.
Neither of us was ready to start a family right after high school. You wanted to get married; I didn’t. You were fucking too
many other girls. If I had married you, I’d be Donna.”

Lexington countered, “You would never be Donna. You’re too much like a man.”

“Whatever,” Nikki said. “Before we got it together, we went to college, became successful, and we married other people. You
have two kids, and I don’t have any.”

“Nikki, I’ve thought about what happened at the club. If you are pregnant with my child, I want you to have my baby,” Lexington
said, easing on top of her.

The hammock swayed. Nikki shook her head. “It’s too late. For a baby. For us. We’re both married. We both have demanding careers.
Not to mention insatiable sexual appetites.”

“That’s exactly why we should have a baby. I wish Donna was like you,” Lexington said, kissing Nikki’s lips.

Nikki brushed his soft locks against her abs, then said, “Don’t say that. Donna is a good woman. She takes excellent care
of your kids. What happened between you two? Why is she calling me?”

“And… what about Herschel? Does he take excellent care of his son?”

“You didn’t have to go there with me. This is about what you want.”

“What we want. Can you look me in my eyes and honestly tell me what I want isn’t the same as what you want?”

Nikki looked up at the North Star. “Just make love to me, Lexington. That’s what I want. I want you, because you know exactly
how to make love to me.”

Lexington kissed away the tears silently streaming from the corners of her eyes. His lips traced a necklace of kisses along
her collarbone. The wetness of his tongue streaked from her throat between her breasts, which he held in each hand, and down
to her navel. He kissed each side of her pelvis, then kissed the top of her shaft. His tongue glided between her labia, along
the right side, then eased over to the left side. The tip of his tongue pressed against Nikki’s sensitive spot in the upper
left crevice between her shaft and outer lip.

Nikki’s body trembled.

Nikki reminisced about fucking Lexington in the semiprivate room at the swingers club the other night. She could have had
a threesome with two guys or an orgy with any of those couples, but the truth was as freaky as Nikki was, she was selfish
about Lexington. He was, and forever would be, her first love.

Slipping his finger inside her pussy, Lexington pulled it out, then traced tiny clockwise circles over her clit. He dipped
his finger inside her again, then gently made small counterclockwise circles on top of her clitoris.

Nikki moaned. “That feels so good. You just don’t know.”

“Trust me, I know,” Lexington said.

He knew her body well, but he didn’t know her as well as he believed. He knew exactly what pleased her in the bedroom. Outside
the bedroom, Lexington was clueless.

Positioning her body sideways in the hammock, Lexington slowly entered the tight walls of Nikki’s pulsating vagina. With each
penetration, his dick throbbed in sync with her pussy. By the time his head reached a point where he could go no deeper, they
both came hard. Holding one another tightly, Lexington whispered in Nikki’s ear, “I love you.”

Nikki exhaled. “I love you too.”

Nikki wondered when was the last time Lexington spoke those words to his wife. More important, what did his words mean to
her?

CHAPTER 9
Brian

N
ormalcy. Familiarity. Temporary fidelity. Loyalty. Good man. Occasionally unfaithful. Everything in life was subjective.

One sure thing was Brian was elated to get home to his wife. Hug her. Hold her. Kiss her. In transit from the airport, he
called Michelle. “Get my pussy ready, baby. Your daddy’s home.”

Brian’s dad had an intelligent answer to every question. He contemplated having his driver stop by his mom’s so he could talk
with his dad about Zahra. But once BJ saw him, his son would cry if he left without him. Taking BJ and his daughter home would
mean postponing making love to his wife, and there was no way Brian wasn’t diving headfirst into his wife’s pussy, with his
tongue ejected from his mouth. Talking with his father would have to wait.
