The sheets were silk, and she sighed, hopefully she could make this move without either of them seeing her because truthfully, this could be embarrassing. She shifted her ass to one side, and then the other, sliding downward between the two of them. The sheets made it easy at least, and the guys just kinda rolled back from her, unfortunately not enough to actually allow her escape. Damn it, she was in an awkward position, closing her eyes she turned her head just a little, yep, this seriously sucked. She was lying halfway off the bottom of the bed, and was eye level with both of their cocks.

“You gonna do something about what you are looking at, babe?” Slider growled and Shady rolled her eyes and looked up to see the pair of men staring down at her with heat in their eyes.

“Gotta go to the bathroom,” she mumbled and then wiggled out from the bed and walked into the bathroom naked and unashamed.

“Got some talking to do,” Cajun laughed at Shady.

“Yeah, figured as much,” Slider agreed. “Maybe we should just tie her to the bed and remind her of what is going on here so she can’t run,” Slider suggested and Cajun shook his head.

“Nah, tie her to the wall, I see her spread on the sheets again we will get distracted. Now that the sun has risen she is gonna fight it,” Cajun said and got up and pulled on his boxers over his morning hard-on. Both men knew they weren’t going to get any morning loving until Shady figured out her shit.

“Yeah, not happening,” Shady said as she walked from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her. Both men frowned at her covering herself but didn’t say a word, they just waited because she was going to spew some seriously fucked up shit.

“We need to talk,” Slider said easily as he pulled on his boxers as well and put his hands on his hips. “We are not leaving this fucking room until we do either.”

Shady laughed and shook her head. “Yeah, bubba, we are.”

“No, Shay, we are not,” Slider said firmly and stared her down. Shady wasn’t intimidated by him or Cajun, she knew she could handle both of them because they would never hurt her.

Cajun moved slowly to her side and broke her stare with Slider as he tilted her head back. “Babe, we are not going backwards, only forward.”

Shady sighed and shook her head. “We are not going anywhere, we fucked, that’s it.”

“You are so wrong,” Cajun said quietly but firmly and then looked at Slider who was walking toward them.

“I am going to order breakfast and then we are talking,” Slider said to the two of them.

Shady rolled her eyes. “This was awesome, guys, and I seriously would like to do it again, although this time I get to pick the room, but it is what it is, one night. I don’t want anything more.”

“Bullshit,” Cajun laughed and then leaned forward until his nose was in her throat and his whispered, “You want this so bad you can taste it, you are just fucking scared.”

“No I'm not,” Shady argued and stepped away and went to her clothes and pulled them on. She needed a buffer and standing with only a towel around her was not enough. She was certain they were going to use her attraction to them as a tool, and she wasn’t going to allow it.

Cajun and Slider followed suit, each using the bathroom to get ready and when they were done, they sat at in the galley of the ship and waited for the food to be delivered. Shady shifted in her chair waiting for them to say something, anything, the silence was getting to her.

“So, babe, why don’t you tell us what is going through you head,” Slider said finally.

Shady stared at them with her expressionless face. Slider hated it when she detached herself like this, he had seen it only once before and that was when she told him she didn’t want to see him anymore. At the time, Slider had been fooling himself, telling himself he didn’t care and it wasn’t a big deal, but it was. He was just coming to realize how big of a deal it was. Shady was one-of-a-kind, and he was drawn to her. She made him feel complete; he could only hope that she did the same for his friend, because God knew he needed it.

“Nothing going through it other than I need to get back and see what is going on,” Shady said.

Someone knocked on the door and Slider got up and answered it. Cajun got Shady’s eye and said quietly, “I'm fucked up," and Shady turned to face him. “Can’t trust myself to have sex with a woman on my own, the time I was a prisoner fucked me up. But with you, last night, I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Not that I would ever want to exclude Slider or anything like that, what I mean is that I can actually see me spending time with you, alone, and not be fucking worried about it.”

“What happened over there?” Shady asked quietly. Slider brought the tray of food and set it on the table and then sat down and waited. He could feel the tension in the air, and knew something important was going on, but when Cajun began to talk, he froze, shit, he was finally talking about what really happened over there. Slider had been the only one who even knew part of what had happened, and seriously he was still not prepared to hear the whole fucking story.

“I was stationed with the guys over in the desert, you know that,” Cajun started by saying and Shady nodded. “Well, they asked me one day to cover for someone in another unit who was patrolling. I wasn’t doing anything and was bored and so I said yes. The guys were close, we worked with them all the time, Creed and Fork both knew their team leader. It was supposed to be an extraction, a woman who had information important to another mission. We went out to meet her, and it was a fucking trap. Right in the middle of town at a coffee shop is where we were supposed to meet. We made it there, set up, made sure that everything was covered and then waited. I was in the shop with three other guys, she was supposed to come in. I put new clothes in the bathroom for her to change into, so she would blend in with us. She walked in, gave the signal, and went for the bathroom. Then swear to God things got totally fucked up, the team leader saw a man walk in with a bomb strapped to his hand. He jumped him, shoved him out the door, and fell on the bomb. Saved a lot of people that day including me. The man brought reinforcements though and they opened fire into the store. Our guys on the outside tried to pinpoint where they were firing from but they were blocked by a building 'cause our guys were high and the insurgents were low. Myself and two other guys pushed the civilians to the back and put them in the cooler for safety, we went for the woman we were getting out, figured we would go through the back door and make a break for it since all the shots were coming from the front. The woman was gone, we radioed in our situation and went for the back door thinking the woman had gone out that way and we could still find her and get her out. When we went out the back she was there, waiting for us with a bunch of men whose faces were covered. They took us captive. We were held for all most a month, and I was the only one who made it out alive.”

Shady whispered to him, “What did they do?”

“At first, they questioned us, well not me, because somehow they knew I held the highest rank in the group. How who knew, the mission was fucked from the get-go. So they used the others against me for the first week. Bacon, the youngest went first, he didn’t last long because he was green. The other one was Pick, he was a lifer, been in for seventeen years but was still a grunt, he liked it, said he didn’t want to be a supervisor, he wanted in the action. He had three kids and a wife who made cookies every fucking day they were married. I swear, she sent them over every fucking day, and he shared. He held out for four days, laughed at them when they fucking beat him, sliced him, and the last thing I heard him yell was ‘Hoorah”. Bastard was tough. Couldn’t fuckin' imagine the shit he went through, just to get me to talk. Didn’t get it, I mean yeah I knew shit, but enough to kill two men for, fuck no. I refused to talk anyway, wouldn’t let them win after they killed Bacon, wouldn’t let them win anyway, but told myself that it was because of Bacon, it was easier than to let myself think I was so cold I would let them kill anyone and not talk, but I knew I would. It was what we were trained to do, the enemy gets nothing at whatever cost. But what does that say about me? Anyway, once the guys were gone they took the gloves off.

"The first woman they brought in was the one we were supposed to rescue. She had no idea what the fuck they were going to make her do; it was evident when she came in. But they forced her down on her knees, ordered her to suck me off. When she refused, they beat her. Then made her suck me off, God it made me sick, but I couldn’t stop,” Cajun said with a tortured tone. Shady felt the tears gathering in her eyes, shit.

“She finished and then they slit her throat when I refused to speak. They took me back to the cage they kept me in and I threw up. Was ready to die because it fucked with my head so bad. They talked to me during the night, told me everything about the woman, her kids, her life. I refused to respond. The next day it was another woman, same thing. At night same thing, and I was ready to end it myself just to make it stop, but I knew the guys were looking for me, so all I thought about is what I would do when they came for me. I made a list in my head of men I would kill first. The guy who held the knife, then the guy who talked to me every night. They were at the top, mostly because they both laughed when they were doing that shit, like it was fun for them to do it. Did it for seven days, seven women died in front of me. Each of them was scared and innocent, even the first woman, the one who double-crossed us. Her husband was one of the leaders and found out what she was planning, she tried to convince them she was just playing us but they knew, so they killed her. Fucking bastards fucking killed them all and never fuckin' flinched, I mean who fucking does that?” Cajun ended up yelling.

Shady had tears streaming down her face as she listened to him tell his story. So much pain, so much damage—and he wasn’t done.

“After they tried to torture me, they knew I would fucking die before I told them anything. First they started with knives, making cuts and pouring bleach in them. Then they broke my fingers, and my leg. Walked on that fucker after they did it too, refused to let them see me in pain. I shut down, didn’t fucking care about shit other than dying, just waited. Every single night I went into that cage and tried to find a way to kill myself but they were smart, they gave me nothing, I got creative but they watched me then, closely, if it looked like I was going to hurt myself they tied me up. Everything fucking hurt, but for some fucking reason I didn’t die, couldn’t figure it out, you know? I mean the human body can only withstand so much; they pushed way past what I thought I could handle. My thoughts were fucked up, even tried to push them to hurt me more to see if I would die because I was so fucking out of it, but they stopped every day before I passed out, just to make sure I could feel every fucking second of their shit.”

Cajun was lost now in the past. Slider and Shady could see it, but they also knew that he had never talked about this shit so they let him go on, no matter how much it hurt them to think about the shit he went through. Kindred souls, that was what Shady was thinking, Cajun and her shared something, and Slider was their fucking anchor. That is what their trio needed, two of them were so damaged, and the other was the one who would shoulder their pain, hold them together, make them feel like they weren’t fucking crazy. At least that was all she could figure out right now, because honest to God, all she felt like doing was running, but the look of acceptance and pain on Slider's face was the only thing stopping her.

“Then one day I heard a firefight, knew someone was coming for me. I figured it was the guys but I didn’t want them to get me out by that time. Wanted to die where I was at, but they wouldn’t leave me, I knew it. They didn’t come that night, the fight lasted for a few days, and the insurgents got creative again. Wanted me to remember them, wanted me to fear them. I didn’t fear them because I had no feeling left, they took it all, but remember them, yeah. When Poke came through that fucking door I hated him, was so fucking pissed I fought them getting me out. Screamed at them to let me die, then Creed got in my face, told me to suck it the fuck up. I did, but before I left that hellhole, I asked for a gun. Even though those bastards were all dead, I wanted my revenge. Easy handed me his sidearm and I staggered to each and every man I remembered hurting us and shot them point blank in the forehead. Made sure they were dead because they didn’t deserve to live another second breathing the same air as I was.”

Shady made a noise and Cajun turned and looked at her. She didn’t wipe her tears from crying, she couldn’t, and Cajun deserved them, each and every one of them.

“They shipped me back to the states, put me in the hospital, declared me fucked up and discharged me with full VA benefits. I still get fucking paid because apparently, I have severe PTSD. The guys I was with, their families don’t get shit, but me, fuck yeah, get paid every fucking month for being a head case,” Cajun roared and stood from the table, pushing his chair back violently. “I guess that is their way of apologizing 'cause I couldn’t get it up for a fucking year, then when I finally did, it fucking hurt. I mean I seriously thought my dick was gonna fall off. I am so fucked up. Can’t trust myself with a woman, have flashbacks and freak out, but with you. I can actually see myself being with you. I feel something, something I have never felt before.”

He was yelling, it was a declaration, one that meant a lot to Shady, she could feel it to her bones, the pain this man had, and she shared it. Not for the same reasons but because she knew that out of control feeling. She had it every single fucking time she had sex, the only time she didn’t was with Slider and it had freaked her the fuck out.

Slider said quietly, “Not your fault, man, none of it. It was fucked up and seriously, I am surprised you are not in a cage already. Would break most men, but you gotta know, man, not one fucking one of us would look at you different if you'd told us this sooner. We all new something bad went down, you shared some with me.”

“I don’t want anyone’s pity,” Cajun growled.
