Like I was walking on air, I took the two steps towards him, and in an act I saw in myself as pure insane bravery… I held out my hand and put it over his.

Nero stopped and opened his eyes. The atmosphere inside of the room thick and heavy but also quiet, and it was in that silence that I heard his pulse jump in excitement.

I drew my hand down and gently took the piece of flesh into my grasp. It was hot to the touch, and I could feel the blood rushing through it, and as I gave it its first stroke, I felt it twitch.

Nero said nothing, but his breathing was ragged. For the first time, consensually, I started running my hand up and down the thick shaft, until I found a good rhythm.

My heart was pounding, the dizziness that had taken hold of my mind making me see spheres of white and red in front of my eyes. A part of me felt like I was going to pass out, but another part of me, a large part of me… was enjoying every moment of this.

“You don’t have to…” Nero gasped, before he let out a groan. “But if you want to open that robe. I would worship you.”

I didn’t even care to ask for reassurances that he wouldn’t touch me. Without protest I undid the ties on my pink robe and let it drop onto the bed.

Nero let out a long groan. “You are huge, I knew it. Fuck, look at that beautiful thing.”

I shook my head; I didn’t want to look at it. I just wanted to keep touching Nero, not do something that might kill the warm tense feeling I was enjoying. It felt like an inflatable trying to expand in a glass jar, it was so tense, so… tight. It felt like it wanted to break, or explode.

Nero watched my groin with his eyes half-open and glassy. I mostly watched my own hand going up and down on him, putting a slight amount of pressure to my grip as his moans started to become more close together.

“F-faster…” Nero gasped. He leaned back on the bed and spread his legs. “Work it good, puppy. Fuck, squeeze it a bit more – yeah, like that. Holy shit.”

I bit the edge of my tongue as I obeyed his request. I couldn’t believe I was doing this, and I couldn’t believe I was doing it naked.

But I wasn’t scared; I wasn’t in fear of him forcing me into something more… I was okay. I really was okay.

Nero let out another loud moan, he started clawing the side of his thigh, then his eyes shut tight. “Faster… fuck, fuck, I’m going to cum. Faster, fuck!” I moaned myself from sheer lust and started to speed up, watching his face as it scrunched up like he was in pain. His mouth open, drawing in the thick sexual tension overloading this room.

I was going to make Nero cum – oh my god, I was going to make him cum. Me. I was doing this to my hero.

Surging with hormones, a lust I had never felt before, and more, I sped up. I put a knee on the bed so I was almost kneeling and leaned over him. My hand rapidly going up and down on his dick as Nero moaned and grasped his thigh and the comforter he was laying on.

Then, with a loud cry, Nero let his head fall back onto the bed. He twisted his body and gasped. I looked down and saw a thick spurt of cum shoot out of his dick, followed by another long string of opaque and white. I sped up for several more seconds, the cum coating my hand, before I slowed down and massaged the thick shaft, easing out each milky spurt.

And there was a lot of it; it completely covered my hand and his short, black pubic hair. I even saw several glistening beads on his chest and collarbone.

“Fuck!” Nero groaned and put a hand over his face. “Oh, fuck, that’s the best cum I’ve had in a year. Oh my god…” He looked up and swore, he was staring at my dick.

I removed my hand and brought it up to my nose. Curious of how Nero tasted, I stuck out my tongue and licked some of it off.

“… you want to kill me don’t you?” Nero moaned. “Fuck, Sanguine.”

I moved the cum around in my mouth. “You taste pretty good,” I said, and I found myself smirking. Then I licked up some more, making sure he could see it on my tongue. “Does that really turn you on?”

Nero nodded, and his gaze dropped again.

He nodded towards my dick. “Look at yours; you have precum dripping down the tip, right down the slit.”

I pushed down the anxiety that brought. I killed the bees buzzing dangerously around my uneasiness at seeing myself hard, and glanced down.

Oh, wow, I was big. I had never realized it before. Like Nero had stated, it was long when it was hard, and though it wasn’t as thick as Nero’s dick it still had a good width to it. I hadn’t seen many to compare but I knew for sure I was bigger than average.

And he was right about the precum… I had never heard that term before but it was obvious what it was in just the word. There was a bead of it that was forming on the tip, and another one that was slowly making its way down the slit, to the bottom part of the pink, mushroom-shaped head.

I touched the tip of my finger to the slit of my dick and gathered the drop of precum.

Then I held it out to Nero.

He took in a shuddered breath, before he grabbed my hand and put it up to his mouth. I felt his warm tongue wrap around my finger, before he gave it a few sucks, creating a suction with his mouth.

When he broke away, he took in another ragged breath of air and shook his head. “You’re going to kill me… you’re so fucking hot and you don’t even know it.”

I smiled, feeling a bit coy, and shrugged.

“Do you want to do something with it?” Nero asked nodding towards my dick. “Whatever you want, honey. I can take care of that for you, or you can take a cold shower – you tell me.”

I looked down, and I was curious as to how it would feel. From how Nero sounded, and looked, it looked like it felt good… maybe a bit painful since he looked like he was in pain and almost sounded like it.

But…

I think… I think I wanted to see if Nero would actually let me not do anything. I wanted to test him and see if he could stop himself. Nero and Silas were the two men I trusted, and I wanted to confirm to myself and Crow… he wouldn’t force me into anything.

I pulled my robe back over my naked body and shook my head. “Not today… I think I want to wait.”

Nero let out a disappointed whine. “You’re killing me, sweetness, killing me.” But then he slapped his knees with his hands and sat up. “We got work to do anyways.”

He motioned once again towards my groin. “You’re at least going to let me trim that, right? Trim that, get that hair on your head lookin’ fine. You already bathed which is wonderful. Come on, we’re going to make you look pretty, you hot, fucking piece of work. One day though, Sanguine.”

Then he winked at me. “I’ll have you.”

I smiled and felt my cheeks redden. “Yeah, one day.” I leaned over and kissed his cheek, before I pinched it with my fingers. “One day, amor.”

Chapter 26

“Wow,” Nero whispered. The look he was giving me was like a carracat eyeing up a biigo in its prime. I didn’t mind that wolfish grin, on the contrary, I was starting to enjoy making him feel this way. “You… you don’t even know. Wow.”

I had just stepped out of the bathroom, wearing the brand-new clothes that Kass had bought for me. And though I was feeling rather good about myself, I was currently sporting a beet-red face over what Nero had done to both my clothing and my appearance.

I had on a tight, long-sleeved black shirt with some silver designs on the front that ran down the sleeves, and just as tight fitting black jeans with a chain going from one loop to the other. I also was wearing the shoes I had stolen from Garrett and new white socks.

But Nero was looking at my head, which brought a further burn to my cheeks, one that told me I was blushing. He was looking at my newly cut hair, no longer a rat’s nest on top of my head; it was now brushed and trimmed. All of this done by Nero himself, a talent I would’ve never thought my brother would have.

He hadn’t cut too much off; my newly washed black hair now touched my cheek bone and smelled like flowers.

I… really looked like a different person, and I felt like a different person too.

A rush of nerves got to me. I looked away and smiled, before waving a hand at Nero. “Stop wowing at me, you’re embarrassing me enough as it is.”

He laughed before grabbing my shoulders and pushing me into the bathroom. I saw his huge grin reflecting in the mirror and beside him… a man I only recognized from his pointed teeth and crimson eyes.

I did look… so different. I looked like a human – not so much a monster anymore.

Though when I tried to smile I saw my teeth and I still disliked that. So I did something I had seen Crow do many times before: I smiled with my mouth closed, the rise in my cheeks making my eyes squint.

Maybe… maybe I did look kinda nice.

“You look like a chimera, a real prince chimera,” Nero commented, shaking my shoulders. “You just look good enough to eat, god damn. Are you ready to go say hi to Silas? I got the ping that he woke up this morning. Usually after he wakes up he takes a day off and hangs out in the apartment to catch up on what he’s missed.”

I stared back at this strange person and saw he was indeed blushing. I smiled and turned away embarrassed before shaking my head no.

Nero laughed and my world once again became distorted as Nero shook me back and forth even harder. “You’re so shy! Oh my god, you’re so shy over how you look. Puppy, you’re not a monster locked up anymore, you’re a prince. Say it: I’m prince hot shit – I’m Prince Sanguine.”

“I am… Prince Sanguine,” I said to the mirror before I saw myself smirk. “I feel like an idiot.”

Nero kissed my cheek, I let out a snort. I don’t think I had been in this good of a mood since… since…

I don’t really remember.

I rubbed my slobbered on cheek with my hand and let Nero flick my hair around with the hairbrush. Then we started heading towards the door, it was broad daylight but I was okay. I felt safe with Nero, and Crow had been quiet all day. I was okay today and I was going to prove it to everyone.

“Isn’t Ceph going to be mad we… did that?” I asked when we were in the elevator.

Nero snorted like that was the most dumbest thing he’d ever heard. “That’s not really how this family works, pickles. At least not with most of us. Think of it like this though, since Cephy really is my main man: as a family, we fuck around with each other, but I go home to him. Does that make sense?”

I thought of it for a second and nodded. “So we’re allowed to have relationships with other chimeras? What about non-chimeras?”

Nero let me walk out first. I gave Jan a wave, and though the old, bald-headed man was giving the both of us equally terrified looks he managed a wave and a nervous smile. I don’t think Jan was going to miss me, but I might come back sometime though Nero said we wouldn’t be buying the condo since we apparently had a whole bunch all around Skyfall and mansions in the greywastes. That was a bit disappointing but I left a note for Kass that he could come to Alegria and say hi anytime he liked.

I doubted I would ever hear from him again though.

“Yeah, we are free to date who we want,” Nero said with a nod. “Though if it starts to get serious you’ll have to make sure it’s okay with Kingy. He has a wicked ass jealous streak so you gotta make sure he’s okay with it.”

He chuckled, though I saw a pull on his lip. “He can get a bit crazy but… ah, he loves us.”

“All of us.”

Alegria

Silas’s face was neutral, though the same couldn’t be said for his eyes. The twin emeralds were burning with green fire as they glared down at the whimpering man at his feet.

The man, half in shadow, was on his knees, his head bowed and his forehead touching the ground. He was choking through sobs; his shoulders shaking under his grief.

“After all these years and you really think your pleading will do something?” Silas said in a low growl, his black and silver cape swaying back and forth behind him as he paced. “You think this display of weakness will get me, the man who ended the world, to show you mercy?”

King Silas smirked and walked a circle around the whimpering man, his gaze only briefly shifting to the corner of the large room, where a young blond man was kneeling with a stream of blood running down his pale face. The young man seemed to be in a daze, his eyes glazed and staring off into space, and his mouth slacked.

Silas slowly got down on one knee, and petted the man’s spiky dark hair back. “You must not know me well, Garrett.”

A small whimper broke the tension that was plaguing the room the three of them were in. Then the man in front of the king looked up, tears staining his eyes.

“Why, Silas?” Garrett said in a thin voice. “You said I could have a sengil…”

Silas lifted up Garrett’s chin with a gloved hand, and gently stroked his second born’s skin in a deceptively caring way.

“Yes, and I told you not to fall for him, didn’t I? Did you think you could hide it from me? That you two had become more than just sengil and master? Do your brothers really have to rat you out to me? Has our relationship deteriorated that much?” Silas whispered, each word slipping out of his mouth in such an odd casual way it made Garrett’s heart palpitate.

Garrett looked over at Tom. The sengils eyes were glazed over, barely aware of what was going on around him.

Garrett let out a desperate moan and shook his head. “I was scared.”

Silas’s hand retracted, and his eyes narrowed. “Scared? Of what?”

Then Garrett’s face tensed, his lips pursed until the ridges of them started to turn white. Finally, not able to hold back he jerked his chin away from Silas’s hand and rose to his feet. “Of what? What kind of question is that!?” Garrett said, his voice carrying a vein of anger. A small glimpse into the rage that Silas knew he was holding back with every shred of his self-control. “You know of what! Because I was scared of this.” Garrett’s right hand swept the room. “Of all of this! Of you killing him because I love him!”

Silas let out an amused breath. “You don’t love him… you’re too immature to love anything and no chimera of mine will be with some worthless sengil.”

“He’s not worthless!” Garrett suddenly screamed, before dropping to his knees. He lowered his head again before slowly shaking it back and forth. “He’s not worthless… he – he understands me; he listens to me. He treats me kinder than any of you! You’ve never loved me; I was just your fucking disappointment, your second daughter as you always love to say. And now you’re pissed because I found someone that loves me for me?” Garrett shot to his feet again, his shoulders shaking and his hands clenched into tight fists. “It’s not fair!” Garrett took in a deep breath, a bead of sweat running down his forehead.

Not a single emotion crossed Silas’s face as Garrett’s heated words reached his ears. He brushed them off with an amused look before he picked up a 10mm that had been resting beside him on a side table.

Slowly he walked around Garrett, rapping the tip of the gun against his face-up palm. “So because you have yet to earn your place in the family, you decide to lower yourself to doting on the slaves… interesting indeed. You have an odd approach to winning my respect, Garrett Sebastian, a very odd approach.”

Silas casually turned his back to Garrett and started walking towards the cowering sengil in the corner of the room. Shadows devouring almost his entire body but the side of his face and his arm.

Tom stared at the king, his face holding stricken horror and his body language reflecting that of a rodent beholding a cat. He cowered into his corner and started hyperventilating.

“Who told you?” Garrett demanded, his voice cracking. “Who told you about me and Tom?”

Silas spun the barrel of the gun before pressing back the safety. He closed one eye and stuck his tongue out of the corner of his mouth as he pointed it towards the sengil.

“You know better,” Silas murmured before lowering the gun. “Just as I never tell my chimeras when you tattletale on them, I will show them the same respect,
savis
.”

Then Silas sheathed the gun and turned around. In an odd display of his indifference to Garrett’s turmoil he clapped his hands together and grinned. “I have a wonderful idea. I propose a game!”

Garrett’s tear-streaked face blanched to a sickly white. With a groan he put his hand back over his mouth and shook his head no. Garrett knew just what King Silas’s games involved, only eight years ago he had front row seats to Silas’s game for Ellis and her husband Stellen, one that almost killed the man.

But they had won… and they could be together now,
Garrett thought to himself, but as his stinging eyes travelled to Tom his heart gave a painful lurch. Tom was a sengil, a meek, polite, small sengil. He couldn’t endure any games, he didn’t have the strength in him, the mental strength most of all. Stellen had been a legionary soldier and he had barely survived.

“A game?” Garrett whimpered and let out a sob. “Of what… M-master?”

Silas drew the gun and tapped the tip against his cheek, then he smiled. The smile on his face filled Garrett with nothing but more anxiety, and at this point he was surprised he hadn’t had a nervous breakdown.

“I think we need to toughen Tom up, don’t you?” Silas said with a grin. “I think if he is going to be a part of this family – he needs a bit more life experience!”

Garrett’s face fell, but he didn’t say anything.

“He needs to go out into the world, Garrett. He needs to see what life is like beyond that luxury apartment I put you in. So I think–” Silas twirled the gun and caught it. “–I’ll be sending him into the greywastes. I’ll be putting a parachute on him and pushing him out of a plane. If he can make it home… he’s yours. Though that being said, I will be a long walk – I think I’ll put him in Melchai. On the other side of the greywastes.”

“No!” Garrett suddenly sobbed. He started crawling over to Silas on all fours, his head lowered in a submissive stance. When he got to Silas’s shining leather shoes put his hands on them and grabbed clutched them. “He won’t survive and you know he won’t. Sanguine barely survived there and he’s a chimera. You train our sengils at seven to be meek and obedient… he’ll never…”

Several teardrops fell onto Silas’s shoes, making even blacker specks against the new leather that pooled until they ran down the silver stitches and onto the floor.

Then in an act of even further self-degradation and humiliation, Garrett kissed his shoes and hugged his feet. “I’m throwing myself at your mercy… please, Master, please. Forgive me for not telling you, forgive me for being scared. Tom won’t survive in the greywastes, and he’s only four years from being released as a sengil. I’ll wait four years to carry on my relationship with him, I’ll end it now. Just give me a chance to prove to you I can do this right, please.”

A shuddered breath and another kiss to Silas’s shoes. “He won’t survive in the greywastes; it would be cruel to send him there.”

Silas stared down at him in cold indifference, the 10mm still in his hand and the black and silver robe he was wearing just lightly brushing against Garrett’s discoloured, tear-stained face.

“A chance to prove yourself to me, that is what you want?” Silas murmured. He lowered the tip of the gun and directed Garrett’s face upwards. He stared down at it, his eyes narrowed.

Garrett nodded. “Just a chance… please, love, it’s too dangerous in the greywastes for a sengil. It would be cruel to send him there.”

A rush of relief washed over Garrett’s face as Silas slowly nodded.

The king smiled. He removed his foot from Garrett’s grovelling and pulled the gun away from his chin. “You’re right, Garrett. You always have been my voice of reason. It would be cruel to send a sengil into the greywastes.”

And in a quick, solid movement, one that happened so quickly Garrett barely had time to scream – Silas turned around and shot Tom in the head.

Garrett screamed, his hands going up to his face in horror as Tom’s head snapped back. A large, black hole appearing on Tom’s forehead before the sengil’s head slumped over. Immediately blood started pouring out of the gunshot wound, it spilled onto the floor, sounding like water spout draining on a rainy day.
