“Finer than Halle Berry, huh?”
Vaughn turned to page thirty-three.
“Damn, he ain't never lied.”
Vaughn ran his fingers alongside the photos of the woman on page thirty-three. She was synonymous with the word stunning. Her name in the book was Eve. Vaughn immediately knew why. She was clearly God's work of art. He looked at the picture and then looked at the clock on the wall. It was a look of guilt. It was the look a recovering addict had right before he relapsed. Vaughn reached into his chest pocket and phoned Brandon on his cell.
“Hey, Brandon, it's me. Listen, I'll meet you tomorrow in the lobby at nine. We will take off at ten. No, no, everything is fine. I won't be able to hit the club with you this evening. No, I have plans. Business plans. No, nothing I need your help with. Enjoy your last night in Germany. Listen, I will see you tomorrow. Okay then . . . bye.”
Vaughn looked at the clock, then at his watch. He took the Mercedes back to the dealer where he rented it. He then came back and ordered room service after scouring around Germany in search of little blue pills.
At 6:00 there was a knock at the door to the hotel room. Vaughn took in a deep breath as he opened the door. On the other side was a woman who was the spitting image of the model Alannah Xavier. She stood six feet tall. She had a tiny waist, perky and firm breasts, and legs that went on forever. And that was just her front. Her makeup was flawless as well as her smile.
“Ju are De-Vawn Harris, no?” Her English was a little choppy, but her voice was smooth, like that of an angel.
“I am,” Vaughn stated.
“May I come in?”
Vaughn smiled. “You may.”
She walked into the hotel room, which housekeeping had cleaned while he was away. She walked in and Vaughn continued to examine her. Her backside was nice, very nice. Her perfume was intoxicating and not too strong, as many women wore it. He looked at her backside as she walked in and noticed no panty line. That meant either thongs or commando.
Her dress was peach. It matched her complexion perfectly, as did the peach-colored stilettos that she wore. The dress looked as if it were designed by Elie Saab. It fit her like a second skin, but the material was so light and so delicate that it hugged her curves perfectly. It was a one-sleeved minidress with chiffon and tulle cutouts from the lower hips to the sleeve. She wore no stockings, and her bare legs looked perfect. She walked in and had a seat on the couch.
“Adler told me that I was in for a treat, but I had no idea that you would be shock-o-lat like me.”
“Shockolate? Oh, you mean chocolate.” Vaughn smiled. “I guess you don't get too many black customers, now, do you?”
“Black, no. Very few.”
“Well, I guess that's a shame. So, you do like chocolate men, I take it.”
“Yes. Shock-o-lat men are nice.”
“Hmm. I never heard anyone say chocolate before. Why not ‘black' or ‘African American'?”
“Hmn. Why not shock-o-lat?”
Vaughn smiled again. “Okay. Okay, why not chocolate. So, do you want something to eat? I can order room service.”
“No. I don't want any food. But tank you, tho.”
“Hmm. This is going to be interesting. Can I have the pleasure of your name?”
She stood up right where she was and slowly peeled off her dress. She left no mystery in why she was there. She dropped her dress to the floor and stood there with nothing but heels on and her smile. She was breathtaking and she definitely had Vaughn's attention. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him. Her delicate, manicured hands caressed his aged face and his throbbing manhood. He took his pills minutes before she knocked on the door. His erection was throbbing and his heart was beating fast like a drum at an African festival of the hunt. She whispered her name into his ear as she sucked his earlobe.
“My real name is Irina.”
“Irina. That's a nice name.”
“It's Russian,” she said softly as her lips found his. “Do you want to know what it means?”
“I do,” Vaughn stated softly as he kissed her back.
“It means absolute peace.”
Irina kissed Vaughn on the lips while undoing his pants. She tore open his 500-dollar dress shirt and buttons flew everywhere. Her head slowly went down. Soon after, he felt the warmth of her mouth. He looked at her; he watched her. Her pouty lips took him in like a coffee-colored treat. He watched her work her magic. She took all of him in. There was no gagging, no resistance, just sweet, slow, warmth. She worked him fluidly, like a thing of art. She worked him, massaged him, and worshipped the thing that lay between his legs. Initially, he thought the response was just the Viagra, but she had an affect on him. With her looks alone, she aroused him.
Generally when he took the blue pills, it took him a long time to climax. It took him a long time to come. Within minutes he was filling her with his warmth. Within minutes, he was spent and embarrassed at how quickly she was able to make him go there.
She didn't shy away from his treat. She took all that it had to give and worked him well past climax. His heart raced. It raced like it had never raced before. His breathing changed to panting. His chest and body glistened with sweat. His jaw opened but no sound came out. She was too much for him. When sound returned, he sounded like a marathon runner at the end of a race who no longer had adrenaline to support him. She saw his predicament. She saw that he was overwhelmed with her skill, so she slowed down. She never stopped, but she slowed down enough for him to gather himself.
He was deaf with ecstasy. He couldn't hear her or the music. The only thing he could hear was the resounding beating of his heart. Minutes later his heart didn't race as hard. She took his hand and guided him to the bed. He was exhausted. He could only think one thing.
No more. No more, he thought it, but he didn't say it.
He didn't need to. His limp manhood said it all.
He watched her as she made her way to the bathroom. She smiled at him as she walked away. He watched her. He could do nothing else. She was that good. He had bedded women all around the world and no one gave him head as she had done just now. He saw her tear open the plastic to a toothbrush in the bathroom. She held it up as if to ask was it okay that she brushed her teeth. Vaughn could only nod yes.
Again she smiled at him. The next thing that Vaughn knew was sleep. It was two hours later when he slowly began to waken. He smiled as again he felt warmth between his legs. He looked down and the beautiful ebony goddess was still with him. She was waking him up as every man wishes to be awakened, by the warmth of the mouth of a beautiful woman.
Irina began bringing Vaughn's penis back to life. She massaged it, deep-throated it, and gave it the attention it needed. Blood rushed to Vaughn's manhood again and again he was ready to go. Irina mounted him. The warmth of her vagina was better than the warmth of her mouth.
Vaughn watched her as she mounted him. He watched the smiles, the tenderness, and the passion in her face as she forced his member inside of her. She rode him slowly. She contorted her body in waves to take all of him in her. She placed her hands on his chest as she rocked back and forth and made her beautiful backside slowly bounce up and down. Her juices rushed out of her sweet, warm vagina and onto him. She slid with the natural fluids back and forth. She let out gentle moans, as did he, as they began to make love. He placed his hands on her ass and began to squeeze. Her ass was soft, tender, and ample. He watched her as she looked at him lovingly. He watched her face, her smile, and her perky nipples as she rode him.
She took her time.
She made love to him.
She made him feel like a man.
It was like using cocaine for the first time.
Or crack.
It was earth-shattering, amazing sex. It was the best feeling a man could feel with a woman. It was intoxicating. But like any other drug, it could be deadly.
Vaughn cheated on Korie, something that he thought he would never do.
Vaughn relapsed. He relapsed with a drug called Irina.
For the rest of the night she brought him absolute peace.
It was worth every penny.
Chapter Thirty-seven
Korie felt guilty.
She awoke from another bout of sex at Darren's place and her body ached . . . in a good way. She got up, got dressed, and left his place. He was still sleeping the sleep of the dead. Last night they went at it as if they each had something to prove. Korie had won last night's bout of sex. It was Darren who cried uncle last night, although the night before it was Korie who screamed “no more.”
It had been a great two weeks. It had been years since Korie had been this tired. But today was the day that Vaughn was due to come back home. Chances are he would want sex. Korie couldn't accommodate him for two reasons. One, she planned on breaking up with him. She told Darren that she would marry him. Two, she was worn out and her vagina was swollen.
She had one major dilemma. How would she tell him?
She needed to talk to someone. Korie phoned Jayna.

Vaughn and Brandon flew home in silence on the plane. Both men were deep in thought. Brandon was wondering what he would say to Jayna and Vaughn was wondering where his relationship stood with Korie. He was back to paying for the company of escorts again.
At least he thought he was. And if he wasn't, he was having thoughts that he never should have as a customer of escorts. Vaughn wondered what it would be like to have a woman like Irina as his partner.
Irina wasn't Korie. She was something else. She was something else altogether different. She was paid company. What's worse is that she was worth every penny. Irina was the type of women who sought out men like Vaughn. It seemed that men like Vaughn chose women like Irina, young, beautiful, and sexy to be the woman of choice to have on their arms when they went out. More and more Vaughn was beginning to wonder if that was the natural order of things.
Irina was flawless.
But Vaughn liked Korie's flaws.
Irina was the perfect size.
Korie had to work her way down to the size that she was now.
Irina looked every bit like an international model.
Korie looked like a model for a Gap commercial.
Irina swallowed.
Korie didn't.
In most cases with men, the last thing would have made Irina the undisputed winner. But Korie still had a lot going in her favor. She was strong, independent, and she would make a good mother to Vaughn's children, his heirs. Irina would simply be his companion and spend his money. He enjoyed his tryst with Irina. But he was done with her. He was going home to ask Korie to be his bride. He made up his mind that Irina would be his last fling as a single man.
He just hoped that he had the willpower to stay away from escorts once he got home. It was the same willpower that drug addicts wished for when they said they were going to stop using.
Chapter Thirty-eight
“He did what?” Jayna said.
“Darren asked me to marry him.”
“And what did you say?” Jayna looked attentively at her best friend, already knowing the answer.
“I said yes.”
“And what about Vaughn?”
“That's just the thing, Jay . . . I don't know.”
“I thought things were going so well between the two of you.”
“They are. I mean, they were.”
“Then what are you doing, Korie?”
“I still love him. I still love Darren.”
“Even after all he's put you through?”
“Even after all he's put me through, yes.”
“Shit.”
Jayna sat back in the living room chair at Korie's place with a confused look on her face.
“I know, right.”
“When do you plan on telling Vaughn?”
“He should be home by now. He's heading over here to pick me up. I'm going to tell him in a few hours.”
“Do you want me to stay here with you?”
“What? No. No, I got this.”
“Are you sure this is what you want to do?”
“No. I mean, I love Darren. But I'm not sure that I want to give up the life that I have with Vaughn. I do like him. I like him a lot. But Darren and I have history.”
“A tainted history. What about what you used to say about not going backward and always looking forward?”
“I'm looking forward. I'm looking forward to my relationship with Darren.”
“Okay, hear me out. Just listen. What if he leaves again? What if things are perfect between you and Darren simply because they are new again? What happens if you give Darren another chance and he leaves you or disappoints you, or isn't the man who you thought he was? Won't you then be kicking yourself in the ass for leaving a man like DeVaughn Harris? I'd like to say that men like him come by a few times in a lifetime, but hell, they don't.”
“What are you saying, Jayna?”
“I'm saying that he had his chance and he blew it. I'm saying, think about all this.”
“You never liked Darren to begin with. The two of you never got along.”
“Maybe so, but one thing has nothing to do with the other. I want what's best for you. Now, if you say that's Darren, then, girl, I got you and I support your decision one hundred percent. But, Korie, if you have any doubt, give it time.”
“I guess you're right. I have been rushing things. My heart says jump right in there with Darren, but my mind says that Vaughn is the one.”
“What changed in these past few weeks?”
“Sex.”
“Sex?” Jayna looked confused.
“Yeah, I think I just got caught up in how Darren made me feel versus how Vaughn makes me feel.”
“So, Vaughn doesn't satisfy you at all?”
“No, he does, just not as often as I would like.”
“Darren will be that way in a few years. All men eventually lose their sex drive. It's at that point that many realize what they have. Sex isn't everything.”
“Says the woman who has a phone full of numbers.”
“Not anymore. I'm a changed woman, a new woman.”
“Well, good for you.”
The two women hugged and Jayna went home.
Korie sat on her couch deep in thought about her next move.
