Electra-City Part 2
"I know you know where it is!" Electra shouted at Cassie, "Now tell me, and you all can go!" Electra knocked over the table she was sitting at, shattering the glass dishes on them.
"I don't know what you want with it, but it can't be for good!" Cassie cried, "I know your type! I was your type once! And I'll never let you get a hold of a weapon of that power!"
"You don't know what I am like!" Electra screamed, cupping her hand and throwing a blue fireball at the wall. Dirt from above sprinkled down on the two. "Let's see what your friends are up to." Electra taunted, turning on a television screen, "Should we start with the children, or the adults?"
"Cassie has been gone for a while now." Mac beeped, "Should I scan for her?" The bot looked at Susan, who nodded. Braddock unlocked the doors, and the Idyll bot zoomed towards the sky.
Susan looked out the window at the sky, and then the ground. "Oh no!" she gasped, "What's that!" On the hill was a figure, who raised their hand in the sky. By the looks of it, the thing was seven foot tall and not nice.
A purple bolt of electricity shot from the thing's hand and into the air, straight at Mac. The bolt hit the robot, sparks flew, and the fried bot fell to the ground and smashed into several pieces.
"MAC!" Susan exclaimed, hoping for the best. "We need to get the kids and get out of here!" Betty yelled, waving her knitting needle in the air, "Full throttle baldy!"
"Hey!" Braddock huffed, "It's hard to grow hair when you're dead!" Arthur pressed the gas and the bus flew in the direction Cassie ran, which happened to be the direction of the robot-murderer.
They flew over the grasslands and at the figure. "Here we go!" Braddock howled. The flying bus hastened to 100 m.p.h. and rapidly approached the figure.
The thing was about eight feet tall and wore black rags from head to toe. Its massive hand looked like it could crush the skull of a professional wrestler as if it was an egg.
The bus smashed into the giant head on. Two hands grabbed the sides of the bus and twirled it around and around and around.
"No you don't!" Betty shouted, climbing up front. She rolled down the window and stuck her head out. "Let us go this instant!" she ordered, taking out her needle. Betty stabbed the giant in the arm and yanked it out.
"OWYHEE!!!" he wailed, releasing the vehicle. They hurdled over the hill and into a clock tower. The glass shattered and the car burst into a flaming ball of orange.
Charlie, Will, and Stella looked up at the fiery tower. "No!" Charlie yelped. Stella pointed at the tower and shut her eyes tightly as a frosty wind blew out the fire and froze the crash in a thick layer of ice.
"That should keep them safe for now." Stella stated, "Now let's find Cassie."
"Tell me where it is!" Electra repeated, "If you don't, none of you will survive."
Cassie pierced her lips and closed her eyes. "What are you doing?" Electra questioned. Cassie's hands and feet burst into flames, burning through her grass shackles. She hopped down from the table and held out her hand, throwing Electra up against the wall. "The last person who tried to fight me," she choked, "didn't end up well!" Cassie waved her hand in a swirl and dirt tentacles wrapped around Electra and held her in place.
"Pathetic!" Electra teased, "A simple telepathic spell!" The witch twitched her nose and the dirt fell to the ground. "I know more than you ever will." she snarled. "Wanna bet?"
Cassie knew she could beat this witch and get out of this realm. She took a deep breath and blew a surge of fire at her foe. Holding up her hand, the roof crumbled and she rocketed upwards and out of the prison.
Electra fixed her hair and looked up at the hole in the room. "This is going to be interesting."
Will, Charlie, and Stella walked around the town. "She's got to be here somewhere!" Will shouted, bumping into a woman. "I'm sorry!" he apologized, looking at the lady. "You seem different." she sighed, "What are you here for?"
"What do you mean?" Charlie asked. "This is where Electra keeps all her deal-breakers she cursed and punished." the woman replied, "What was your deal?"
They all shook their heads. "We didn't make a deal, but she wants to." Cassie answered, landing on the ground, "Electra's looking for the Silver Shadow, and she won't let us go until she has it."
"What would a witch want with a dagger?" Stella asked, "And didn't you destroy it?"
"First off, I am not a witch!" Electra clarified, "I am a sprite. Technically a princess, but, eh! Details details!" Cassie frowned. "I really don't care about your 'details'." she sassed.
"Oh, but you will!" Electra shouted, holding up her hand, "Time is here, time has come! It's the time for these four-" Electra was interrupted as an arrow shot through her chest. "MISS PRICE!!!" she growled, "How many times have we gone through this?!"
The blue-haired fairy twirled her hand, and the arrow through her chest vanished. "I couldn't die when Death was closed, so I certainly can't die now!"
A few yards away was a beautiful teen holding a mahogany recurve bow, with a black leather quiver hanging from her belt loop. Electra snapped her fingers and the girl, to Will's clear disappointment, vanished in a teal poof of smoke.
"And now I'm over here." the black-haired girl sighed, exasperated. "Wait, are you Chrissy Price?" Charlie inquired. The girl with the beautiful blue eyes nodded. Noticing Will couldn't take his eyes off of her, Cassie growled jealously.
"As I was saying." Electra interrupted, raising her hand again, "Time is here, time has come! It's the time for these FIVE kids to see the whole account!" Blue mist filled the town, dimming the lights and blinding their eyes. "Send them back, ten, no, twenty, no, one-hundred years!" Electra's voice echoed throughout the valley, "Do not let them interfere! Let them see, the entire story!"
Electra's Story
The blue mist vanished and Cassie looked around. The five of them stood in the middle of grasslands speckled with gigantic mountains, towering over the valleys below.
"What are you wearing?" Charlie asked mockingly, pointing at the girls. Chrissy and Stella wore white silk tunics decorated with pink ribbon tied around their waists, and Cassie wore a black silk tunic with a red ribbon around her waist. The girls all had their hair curled. "Speak for yourself Char-Char!" Stella giggled.
"Shoot!" Charlie huffed, looking down at his white tunic and yellow ribbon, "And I'm wearing sandals too." Charlie stuck out his foot and groaned. "We are in Ancient Greece!" Will shouted. Before they could even think about what to do, a dust cloud rolled up and dispersed.
"Come on!" Electra demanded, pulling up in a chariot, "We need to hurry up and get this tour done!" Stella shrugged her shoulders and climbed in, followed by Charlie and Will. Once everyone got in, Electra whipped the horses and they galloped off towards the city.
"Hey Chrissy." Will whispered, "I dabble in archery too." Chrissy raised her eyebrows. "Is that so?" she cooed, "Maybe I can teach you a few things."
"Maybe I can teach you a few things!" Cassie mocked quietly. Something about that girl made Cassie furious.
"Here we are!" Electra decreed, stopping in front of a large, white, castle-like building, "Welcome to my humble home!"
With the blink of an eye, they stood behind a tall and wide, white pillar in what appeared to be a throne room.
"So because you believe that you have found a new love, you are going to kill me?" said the king sitting in the gold throne, "That's the plan of a fool!" The king stood from his chair, but the woman in front of him pushed him back down. "It's more than that Agamemnon!" the lady yelled, "You sacrificed my daughter for a stupid war! And you cheated on me while you were away! I am doing the city a favor by getting rid of you!"
"Clytemnestra!" Agamemnon shouted, "I don't want to fight you, but I will!"
Cassie looked at Electra. Tears ran down her face. Why was she not doing anything?
Clytemnestra reached in her pocket and pulled out a small vial. "The venom of the snakes of Cerberus is powerful enough to kill a mortal with just one drop!" she explained, "Good-bye Agamemnon."
The woman threw the vial at her husband. It smashed open and splattered all over the king. "You-" was all he managed to say before the acidic poison burned through his skin and entered his bloodstream. His skin turned green and he lunged forward, gasping for air.
"What is going on?!" a girl yelled. She had blue hair and stood in the doorway, mouth agape. "What did you do to him Mother?!"
Clytemnestra turned around and frowned, "Electra."
"No." young Electra said, "I don't want to know." The girl turned and ran away.
The blue mist returned, and when it cleared, Clytemnestra was sitting in the throne. "Mother." a boy snarled, "You killed Father. Electra told me so."
Young Electra ran in. "Orestes!" she yelped, frantically, "Be careful how you do this!"
Orestes put his hands together and hummed. "Orestes!" both women called. "You're going to break one of the Five Rules of Magic!" Electra warned, as Clytemnestra grabbed at her chest, coughing.
Magic has rules? Cassie didn't know that!
As Clytemnestra fell forward and turned to dust, Orestes stopped humming. "She deserves it." he mumbled, "And I'll accept my fate for using magic to kill."
Young Electra thought it over. The Furies were sure to drag him to the Underworld now! "Only one fury is assigned per person, right?" Electra smirked. Her brother nodded slowly. "So all we need to do is kill it!" she cheered. "You can't kill an immortal goddess with just any weapon." Orestes reminded, "You would need a weapon made by an immortal, like Merlin or a god or goddess. And no immortal would let you have a weapon to change your fate!"
"You run." Electra ordered, "I will find a weapon that will kill the Fury. You just hold it off."
Blue mist filled the room one last time and they were transported back to the present. "Orestes is my last tie to my father." Electra explained, "I need the Silver Shadow to kill the Fury. Well, now both Furies."
"Why are there more than one Fury?" Cassie asked. "I just used magic on time." Electra confided, "Also forbidden. It's one of the Five Rules of Magic."
"But I have broken both of those rules before, and probably the others too." Cassie thought aloud, "Why haven't any Furies came for me?" Electra tapped her chin. "Maybe they know you are getting what's coming to you eventually anyways." Electra suggested, "Or maybe they messed up. Either way, do you see why I need the Silver Shadow now?"
Charlie nodded. "I would've helped you if you just told us this in the first place." Cassie said, "But since you threw my friends and family into a clock tower, and trapped all of these people here, I'm not sure."
Electra's eyes began to glow with blue flames. "Wait!" Cassie cried, holding up her hands, "I can get you the Silver Shadow if you let all of these people go and never make another deal again!" Cassie twirled her hand and produced her own little contract. "And this thing is under Fury enforcement, so don't break the deal!"
Electra took the papers and signed on every line. "Stealei paso!" she yelled, twirling her hand. The town vanished in a poof of smoke. Susan, James, Betty, the twins and Braddock stood behind her. "Also, you should know that I didn't send your friends flying into that tower." Electra defended, "It was just a happy coincidence."
"Then who did?" Will asked, happy Chrissy didn't vanish too. "Details details!" Electra chirped, "Where's the dagger?" Cassie shut her eyes and held out her hand. The Silver Shadow materialized in her palm.
"Thank you!" Electra sighed, clenching the knife, "Orestes!" A man with brown hair appeared in a poof of smoke. "You have it?!" he exclaimed. Electra nodded, smiling. "Ah!" she screeched, "Something has me!"
The group looked above Electra where a dark shadow was floating. Things resembling tentacles wrapped around its victim, swirling here and there. "I'm ready!" Electra shouted, holding the Silver Shadow up. She sliced through the shadow, once, twice, and thrice. An ear-piercing squeal shot through the air as the thing exploded into glittery black confetti.
"It's always behind me." Orestes explained, "Trust me and throw the knife at it." Electra tossed the dagger and it flew through the air. A loud scream and burst of black powder signaled the success as the blade fell to the ground.
"And this belongs to you!" Electra proclaimed, moving out of the way. "My trailer!" Chrissy cheered, "And a jeep to pull it!"
A very decorated trailer sat attached to a bright blue jeep. "Christmassy!" Cassie smiled, "I like it."
A worried look shot across Cassie's face. "Where's Mac?!" she gasped. "He was shot down." Susan answered, "Sorry."
Electra snapped her fingers and Mac appeared, as normal as ever. "MAC!" Cassie yelled, hugging the robot. "This is nice." the bot whistled, "But don't we have to save Reality?"
"Oh yeah!" Cassie perked up, "Chrissy, could we use your trailer as transportation?"
"I thought you'd never ask!" Chrissy squealed, "Let's go!"
