‘It’s okay,’ Eva lied. ‘If you don’t want to, I understand.’

Julian’s hands clasped each side of Eva’s face. She tried to pull away from him, but she was no match for his strength.

‘Don’t be such a stupid twat,’ Julian said as his eyes fixed on hers.

Eva’s head jerked back. How fucking dare he insult her? She wanted to ask him to leave. No, she wanted to scream at him to get out…or slap him across the face. Yeah a hard slap would teach him. But she wouldn’t, of course. She couldn’t deal with the awkwardness that would obviously follow. It was easier just to let him have his stupid power trip. Eva’s eyes stung. She didn’t want to blink. She knew tears were building and she was already so embarrassed, she didn’t know how she would react if Julian saw her cry.

He noticed,
bugger.
Eva couldn’t control them. Tiny tears ran down her cheeks. Julian’s hand left the grip of her face and he caught a tiny droplet on his finger. He ran his finger along his lips, and the tear left a sparkling stain as it passed.

Julian kissed Eva again. She wanted to push him away but his salty lips tasted like heaven. She couldn’t resist his touch.

‘Of course I want you. I want to fuck you so hard your head spins. But not yet. I’m telling you, you’re not ready for me. You’re too tiny. It’s another thing we’re going to have to work on.’

More tears fell like soft summer rain. But Eva didn’t try to hold them back now. Soft sobs shook her body.

Julian wrapped his arms around her slim shoulders and kissed her gently on the forehead. ‘Shh, don’t cry, baby. It’s okay.’

Eva nodded. It was ok
ay. It was really, really okay. And holy shit, had he just called her baby? The small word sounded beyond fabulous, more than making up for that ugly word earlier.

‘I’m not a virgin, Julian,’ Eva said, surprisingly not blushing as much as she’d expected. Just thinking of the word usually made her cringe but Julian was having a calming effect on her. She could probably say all manner of naughty words if she had to. A tiny tingle ran down her spine as she thought of an impressive list of naughtiness.

Julian laughed, a low, humming vibration. ‘Congratulations. Neither am I.’

‘Well that’s obvious.’

Eva’s throw-away comment was followed by a painfully exaggerated silence. Julian didn’t move. A disapproving knot sat across his forehead.

Finally he spoke. ‘Well, how many other men have there been, Evangeline?’

Eva shuddered. She much preferred when he called her baby. She wanted him to call her that again. Evangeline seemed to stick in his throat. No one called her by her full name since she left New Jersey. Her mother was the last person to say it. Eva shuddered, she really didn’t want to think about New Jersey now. She might start crying again. She was sure Julian would definitely think she was weird then.

              ‘Well?’

Julian wasn’t letting it go. She really didn’t want to answer but technically she had brought it up. How could she admit she’d only ever been with two guys? Her first
was short and overweight. She’d only done it because she was twenty-two and dying to lose it. Of course she’d been horribly disappointed. So disappointed that her second time she’d made sure she was drunk first. That hadn’t gone to plan either, she was so pissed she barely knew what he looked like, and she’d woken up to an empty bed with the drinks bill waiting for her.

But Julian was different, for one thing; he had a massive cock that she couldn’t wait to touch and he oozed sex appeal.

‘That’s none of your business
,’ Eva snapped, but a sheepish giggle revealed that she wasn’t entirely angry.

‘Ok
ay fine; an easier question. Have you ever come like that before?’

Eva digested his question. She’d come before, of course she had. She was getting pretty good at knowing where to touch to get herself off. But that wasn’t his question, she knew.

‘Don’t answer. Your face says it all.’

Eva wished she could see her face. She guessed it screamed a resounding no. At least if it was telling the truth it did.

‘I want to come like that again.’ Eva tilted her head onto her shoulder and ran her fingers through her hair. She couldn’t believe she said that out loud. She knew she wanted it, she just wasn’t expecting to admit it.

‘Tell me what you want
.’

‘I want you to do me
,’ Eva said, biting her bottom lip.

‘No.’ Julian reiterated. ‘Stop it.’ This time he actually sounded angry.

Eva’s lip dropped.

‘Fuck, Evangeline. Have you any idea how hard it is to say no to you? Here…do you feel how much I want you?’

Julian caught Eva’s hand and slammed it against his cock. It throbbed beneath her touch.

‘I’d rip you to pieces if I fucked you now.’

Eva tightened her grip. He wasn’t lying. He was like a rock. He was broad and so hard Eva cheekily touched her thumb against her index finger and gasped as she measured him.

‘I want to fuck you. Who wouldn’t? I want to push and stretch you, and leave my mark on you. But I need you to be ready. I know I won’t be able to stop if you ask me to, so I need you to be able to take that. Understand?’

Eva understood what he was saying. But she didn’t agree. It was all too primal for her.

‘So you’re happy for me to come. But you…what? You just don’t have needs?’

‘Needs and wants are two different things, Evangeline. You’ll have to learn that.’

Eva shrugged her shoulders. She knew there was probably some deeper meaning behind his riddle
, but she really didn’t want to have to work it out right now. Her best guess would have to do. ‘So you need to make me come to feel good about yourself?’

Eva knew as soon as she said it
, that it came out more like an accusatory statement than a genuine question.

‘Of course it matters to me that you’re satisfied. Do I
need
to hear you scream with pleasure, well no, why would I? Do I
want
to hear you scream and call my name? Fucking right, I do. I want your head to get so dizzy you think you’re going to pass out.’

A fragile confidence rushed through Eva a
nd she found herself flirting. ‘A challenge?’ She smirked. It was effortless and her natural reaction to his sexy attitude.

A challenge? Julian locked eyes with her. ‘No, not really. Is it something I’m good at…well, let’s check again, shall we?’

Eva didn’t reply with words, her puckered lips said it all. He was a cocky bastard, but she liked it.

Julian leaned upright. He pressed his knee between her legs, forcing them open for him. He brushed roughly off Eva’s clit and she shuddered, uncontrolled. She was so sensitive, the slightest touch sent tingles shooting around her body. His other knee followed until he was kneeling between her. His perfect face grew closer to Eva’s, stopping just millimetres before touching her.

‘You’re so gorgeous,’
he whispered. ‘I can barely control myself around you.’

His hot breath brushed against Eva’s lips like a summer breeze. She opened her mouth a fraction to taste his delicious words. His tongue gently worked its way inside her mouth, exploring with soft, firm pressure. She could taste the warm afterglow of expensive champagne. His tongue mirrored the pattern it had taken between her legs earlier. Eva knew he was teasing her. He wanted her to remember the soft, sweet pleasure of his tongue against her clit. It worked, she wanted more. She wanted to beg him to lick her again; to make her come over and over. But, she wouldn’t dare. It was his turn now, he’d been more than patient and she wanted to return the compliment.

Julian’s movements were rough and firm and suddenly Eva relished in the apprehension of not knowing what he would do next. Julian’s legs scissored at the hips, forcing Eva’s legs wide apart to accommodate him. Her groin stretched to its max, aching and throbbing under the strain.

‘It’s rude to stare, Evangeline. Don’t you know that?’

Eva quickly pulled her eyes away from his bulging boxers and was about to apologise when she was distracted by his coquettish laugh.

‘If there’s something you’d like to see, then you should just ask.’

Julian raised an eyebrow suggestively. He wrapped his hand around his cock and pulled it free from his boxers. He pumped just once. A slow steady movement, his hand working its way to his base and tugging himself back up. His gazed remained fixed on Eva’s face. He was watching her reaction; she knew he wanted her to look at him. She was, just not into his eyes. She could feel his eyes on her, but she couldn’t look anywhere other than his huge pulsing cock.

Eva struggled for air. It was the hottest thing she had ever seen. His tight grip worked its way up and down his swollen shaft. Eva watched him like a tiger about to pounce. His breath grew shorter and deeper. His free hand rested on the bed, his bicep hardened, taking the full weight of his torso. He slouched forward but Eva placed her hands on his chest and pushed him back. She didn’t want to miss his show.

‘Put your hands above your head.’ Julian ordered.

She did. A titillating smile twisted his delicious lips. He pumped harder.

‘Arch your back…yeah like that…stretch out for me.’

Eva forced her shoulders back against the soft, warm rug and lifted her pelvis towards him.

‘Ah fuck, baby. You ready?’ Julian groaned.

His words were rushed and Eva could feel his urgency.

A deep gro
an hummed inside him and he exploded. Come sprayed from his throbbing cock, soaking Eva’s tee-shirt. She lay very still, catching every drop.

Julian rolled to the side and flopped beside her. His body suddenly felt heavier against her than before. She could feel his heart race as he kissed her forehead. She didn’t move. She stared at this beautiful man who had just shared a little bit of heaven with her. Julian Harte, the ultimate Sex God had just shot his come all over her, and it was awesome. Maybe if she never moved again, this moment would last forever.

Chapter 13

Julian had pushed Eva’s dampened tee-shirt out
of his way and used her soft, peachy breast as his pillow. His rough stubble grazed against her skin and the combined smell of his aftershave and semen left a delicious reminder of their sex. Eva wriggled a little. She was overly aware of her exposed chest. Her eyes were heavy and she was close to drifting off to sleep. She shook her head a little, trying not to disturb Julian. He looked so content. Content to have spilled his come all over her clothes. Content to lay sprawled naked on her rug, asleep in the afterglow of a sweet release.

Eva wished she could share his satisfaction. Sure, she was physically satisfied. Her pusy still pulsed in memory of his touch, and when she licked her lips, she could still taste his sweet kiss. But she wasn’t satisfied to relax. She was conscious that she had just pushed the boundaries of her own limitations. She’d let herself go completely with a man she knew nothing about just because he had the most beautiful face and body she had ever seen. She felt cheap and ashamed but she couldn’t help wishing that when he woke, they could do it all over again and more. Eva closed her eyes and enjoyed the weight of Julian’s arm stretched across her as she fell asleep.

The shattering of glass woke her. She jumped. Julian’s hand gently touched her face and his eyes locked with hers.

‘It’s ok
ay, just the wine glass knocked over and broke,’ he said softly.

Eva heart raced and breathing rushed almost out of control.

‘Christ, baby, are you okay?

Eva was so freaked out by the sudden loud noise disturbing her sleep
, she barely noticed Julian had referred to her with what was fast-becoming her favourite pet name. But barely noticing was enough. If there was ever a time she needed someone, needed
him
to give a shit about her, now was it. And that one small word told her that maybe he did.

‘You’re shaking.’

Eva nodded. She could feel her body tremble but she couldn’t stop it. Sudden loud noises scared the hell out of her. They had ever since that horrible day before her twelfth birthday.
The first time she could really remember her father losing it. She was scarred and damaged ever since. She knew it but she kept people at a distance so they wouldn’t know it too. But Julian wasn’t at a distance now. He was close, as close as anyone could possibly be.

‘Come here,’ Julian said, wrapping his strong arms around her and kissing her forehead.

‘Get a fright, did we?’

Eva nodded and sniffled.

‘There’s nothing to be scared of. I’m here. You’re safe.’
