Bella wanted to scream. Know that she was safe? He had mugged her, he had stalked her, and she was supposed to know that she was safe? What was wrong with this man?

“You know,” Bella began to stand up, “If you needed money, all you had to do was ask. You didn’t need to scare me and take what was not yours. You sure as hell did not need to stand outside of my apartment and try to frighten me.”

Seff opened his mouth to reply but Bella was having none of it. She had gotten what belonged to her and she was not going to listen to what he had to say. She walked away, leaving him to his coffee.

Bella put her purse with the rest of her belongings, and when she returned to the front of the restaurant, she found that Seff was gone. She walked over to the table to found a note that simply said ‘I’m sorry.’

Bella began to feel bad for the man, but had to get on with her work. She stuffed the note in her pocket and went about her day. She was so glad when her shift was over. It had been a very busy day and her feet were killing her. She gathered her things and walked to her car, but as she did, that feeling of being watched came over her once again.

Bella quickly got into her car and locked the doors. She knew she was being silly; no one was watching her. The mugging was over, the man had admitted his wrongdoing and had even apologized. She tried to calm herself as she drove home, but could not shake the feeling that she was not alone.

As soon as she pulled up to her apartment she jumped out of the car and ran into the building. Her fear was growing and she knew she would feel better as soon as she was in her apartment behind locked doors.

Once Bella entered her apartment she began to feel better. She was home, she was safe, and no one could bother her there. She walked to her window and peered out. Seff was not standing on the sidewalk this time.

Bella gave a sigh of relief, undressed, and headed to the shower. She washed away all of the stress of the day and even though she had not fully shaken her fear, she began to relax.

Bella finished her shower and wrapped a towel around her body. She wiped the mirror in the bathroom and took a long look at herself. The past few days had taken a huge toll on her body, and she was beginning to show the effects of it.

She decided to slip into her nightgown, relax on the couch, and watch a few movies. She did not have to worry about going to work the next day and all she wanted was a little relaxation.

Bella decided that it was not the night to be watching horror films, so she turned on one of her favorite comedies, sat back, and relaxed. She must have been more tired than she realized because the next thing she knew she was opening her eyes.

She had fallen asleep but something had awoken her, the feeling as if someone was standing over her. She tried to focus her eyes but she could not see. The room was dark and the movie had gone off. Her heart began to race and she was afraid to move. She gathered all of her courage and sat up. Nothing.

There was nothing there and her eyes finally began to focus. She thought that she had to be imagining things. The stress of the past few days must have taken more of a toll on her than she had realized.

Bella stumbled to her bedroom and all but fell into her bed.  Within seconds she was back asleep. What Bella did not know was that she was not alone in her apartment—Seff had been with her the entire evening.

Seff was amazed with this woman and he had been watching her since he had grabbed her in the street. When she looked into his eyes that night, it was not a look of fear that he saw; no, it was a look of interest. He had mugged so many women over the past few years. It was how he and his pack survived. They needed money—they had vowed to not kill humans, and when it was hard for them to find animal hearts to eat, they had to buy them.

They had to make sure they did not kill too many animals, as people had begun to take notice when their pets disappeared. The pack preferred human hearts, of course, but would settle with a cow heart. However, those where getting harder to come by without money. Farmers noticed pretty quickly when one of their cows had been taken, and people began to panic when they found animals without hearts.

Seff yearned for the days of old when they could eat what they wanted and no one ever noticed. When they could feast on human hearts and not have their faces all over every news station. But those days were gone, and he and his pack only did what they had to in order to survive.

Seff stayed in the shadows all night watching Bella. He had been there when she returned home from work and she had never noticed. She walked through her apartment completely naked while he watched, longing to touch her.

He watched her shower, the water dripping off her body, running down her plump breasts, and he yearned to join her. He wished she had never seen his face. Something in her drew him in and begged for him to take her and make her his.

It had been so long since they had allowed a human to join the pack. Long ago, they had changed many humans. The men of the pack could have their choice of any woman, but they quickly learned that after a few generations of turning humans into werewolves, the offspring had no control of their own abilities.

The purebloods knew how to control when they would shift. They knew how to keep a human form and how to keep their werewolf form. But the ones who had been turned by another who had been turned, or had been born to one who had been turned, could not leave the pack. They had to hide in the shadows because they could shift at any time and had no control over it.

They also did not only feed when the moon was full, but during all phases, which had made it very difficult for the pack to keep them fed without being discovered. Seff stood over Bella and considered what would happen if he turned her.

He wondered how she would react. He wondered what the pack would do, and he knew it was not an option. Even if they did not have an offspring, it would cause too many problems.

Bella began to stir and Seff stood completely still. He could easily go undetected if she woke up. He had been standing right in front of her when she was sleeping on the couch and she had not even known he was there.

Bella tossed and turned in her sleep, now laying on her back, her hands above her head, one foot hanging off of the bed and the other leg bent causing her gown to rise to her hips. Seff could see her nipple as it poked through her gown, barely covered to begin with.

He could feel his cock reacting to her body and he reached down, gently rubbing it through his pants. Bella’s breast slid completely out of her gown and seeing it almost caused Seff to lose control of himself. His hand inched forward, begging to touch her, but he stopped himself just inches away from her body.

Bella moved slightly in the bed, and as her body shifted, her gown raised even more. He could see her pussy just under the edge of her gown, begging for his attention. Seff moved closer to the bed as he continued to rub his now throbbing cock. He was completely confused at what he was feeling for this human. He was supposed to breed within the pack, but he could not control the way he felt.

Seff gently reached out and brushed Bella’s hair from her face. She smiled in her sleep. Seff had seen her kick her boyfriend out and had heard the entire argument. He knew how she had been treated poorly, and he wanted to show her how she should be treated.

His hand lingered in her hair as he drifted away in his thoughts, but suddenly he was pulled back to reality when he heard Bella gasp. He looked down at her staring right at him. He had been caught, there was no denying that he was there. He moved forward, and Bella pulled her legs up close to her body, staring at him with fear in her eyes.

“I’m not going to hurt you,” Seff said in the calmest voice he could. He struggled to remain calm; his cock was rock hard and aching, and he knew he had frightened her. He also knew that his actions may have put the entire pack at risk.

Bella looked up at him as he moved even closer. “Why are you here?” she said in a whisper. He looked down at her, and she saw the compassion in his eyes. “You said you would leave me alone. You said I would be safe,” she said, staring at him.

Seff sat down on the edge of the bed, looking at Bella. He reached out to touch her. She pulled back, pushing herself completely against the headboard of her bed.

“You are safe,” Seff replied, “I just needed to be near you. I needed to see you.”

“And you didn’t think it would be creepy if you snuck into my apartment and watched me sleep?” Bella’s voice was louder now, “Or you didn’t think you would get caught?”

Bella began to realize that she had not been alone when she had first awoke in the living room. He had been there the entire time. She began to shake with fear, knowing he could have done anything he wanted. He could have killed her and no one would have known it was him. Why had she been so stupid to not tell the police everything? Why had she not had him arrested when he returned her purse?

He moved toward Bella on the bed. “I’m not going to hurt you,” he said again.

They both sat there looking at each other, neither one of them knowing what to say. Bella was afraid for her life and Seff knew that. He wondered how scared she would be if she knew what he really was. His heart began to break when he realized that he was nothing more than a monster to her.

Bella saw the pain in his eyes. Not knowing what else to do, she asked him why he was there and why he was sad. He told Bella that when he had grabbed her and she had looked into his eyes, he knew she was different from any woman he had ever met, and that he, in fact, was different as well. He told her that there were things about him that she would never understand, and that he knew the only way he could be close to her was if he didn’t let her know he was there.

Bella sat back and thought about his answer. She had begun to relax slightly, thinking that he had all the chance he needed to harm her, and that if he was going to, he would have already done so.

“There’s something different about you, isn’t there?” she asked him. He told her that there were things about him that she wouldn’t understand, things he had to do in order to survive that she would not approve of. Bella assumed that he was talking about the muggings and as he put his hand on Bella’s waist she thought about the day he had grabbed her. The first time she had seen him and once again it seemed as if he was … smelling her?

He was so close to her that she could feel his hot breath on her neck. She could smell him and feel the heat of his body. His breathing was ragged and she could feel him shaking. She tried to pull back but was met with the headboard.

He began to move his thumb as he held her waist, gently rubbing it against her.

“He should have treated you better,” Seff whispered in her ear. Bella’s eyes widened when she realized he knew about Scott. “How long have you been watching?” she asked.

“I saw you kick him out. I heard what you said. I followed you home that night to make sure you were okay. Let me show you what you deserve.”

“What do I deserve?” Bella whispered. Seff pulled her close, gently kissing her neck. He pulled away for a second and she could feel his hot breath as he slid his head up toward her ear. He placed another gentle kiss on the lobe of her ear before looking her in the eyes.

Everything inside of her was telling her to run, to scream for help, to call the police and have him arrested—but his eyes were almost hypnotizing as she stared back. He pushed his mouth down hard on hers as he pulled her body against his.

Bella took in a deep breath as he kissed her. He held her so tight that she felt as if she could not get enough air. He kissed her with passion, but gently, in a way that she had never been kissed before. Both of his arms wrapped around her body, and somehow she finally felt completely safe.

Seff started to pull away, his grip loosening on Bella, but she was not ready for him to stop. She placed her hands on his face, pulling him toward her, and felt him move closer on the bed.

Seff slid his hand behind Bella’s back gently, sliding it under her gown. He loved the feel of her soft skin in his hands. It had been so long since he had felt the skin of a woman. When the wolves in his pack mated, it was done in the form of a werewolf: quick, impassionate, only out of need and not out of desire. He slid his hand further up her back, causing her gown to gather and slightly raise in the front.

One of the perks of being a werewolf was having great night vision, and on this occasion Seff was thankful for his gift. Bella could not see anything in the room and could barely see the outline of Seff's body, but as her nightgown raised, Seff could see Bella’s beautiful hairless pussy waiting for him.

He pushed the gown even higher with his other hand, allowing her breasts to be exposed. He could feel Bella shaking in his hands as he pulled back to remove the gown from her body.

“Are you scared of me?” he asked. She told him that she was not scared and that she was nervous. She said she must be stupid allowing him to be there.

“Don’t be afraid of me,” he said, looking into her eyes. She looked back shaking her head, and he pulled her gown over her head.

Seff quickly dropped the gown on the floor and looked down at her body. Bella was covering herself with her arms and had her knees pulled close to her body.

Seff grabbed her legs, gently pulling them down, then uncrossed her arms from her chest. Bella had always been self-conscious about her body, never allowing a man to view her fully naked. She was what they called a “big beautiful woman.” That was why Scott had ordered her. He knew that no other men would look at her and she would be stuck with him; but Seff looked at her differently than other men. She had no idea how beautiful she was and what she was doing to his body.
