Jessie kissed the top of his wife’s head, “Well, I have to be honest. I was worried, but for only a minute or two. Then when you and Kenzie were up stairs stomping around, I thought you were going to come crashing down through the floor.” Jessie rubbed his hand up her arm.

“I couldn’t find my locket, Makenzie remembered grandma put it up. We sure weren’t acting like ladies running in and out of that room, were we?” Cassandra, tightened her arm around Jessie. It was early morning before they fell asleep.

Jessie was up earlier than usual. He wasn’t used to having anyone beside him. Half asleep, he turned over, grabbed Cassandra in his arms and kissed his wife awake.

“Good morning my beauty, I love you.” Jessie whispered

Cassandra smiled as she woke in the arms of the man she loved and would spend the rest of her life with. “Good morning, I love you.” Cassandra snuggled closer. She didn’t want to move out this spot. For the first time in her life, Cassandra felt complete. Today she would spend the day celebrating the wonderful life that God had given her. She would be with everyone she loved, but most of all, she remembered them all and everything about her past.
