“I would love to.” He pulled it gently until it came undone. Her breasts peeked out and he could see her nipples. Derek felt his dick harden and twitch.

She stared down at him, confidence in her eyes. She grabbed the string around her neck and pulled it loose. When it fell to the ground, her chest was bare.

Derek stared at her tits, loving their perkiness and roundness.

Paola grabbed his hand and placed it over one, letting him squeeze and feel it. A quiet moan escaped her lips.

“You’re so beautiful,” he whispered. He sat up, still caressing her breasts.

Her hand ran down his front
. “You are too.” She leaned forward and kissed his bare chest. “You’re the man I always wanted.”

“You’re my real l
ife fantasy.” He placed his face close to hers then stared at her lips. “I want you.”

“And I want you.”

“Then why don’t you talk to me?”

“Perhaps I’m scared.”

“Don’t be. I won’t hurt you.”

She stared at him, waiting for him to kiss her.

Derek leaned forward and sealed his lips over hers, massaging her breasts. His lips exploded in a raging fire as they embraced. It knocked the wind out of him. His hand moved to her hair and felt the tangled strands.

“I knew you could do it, man,” Coe
n said as he stared at him.

Derek didn’t stop kissing her.

“Just treat her better than the way you treated me,” Nancy said with a smile.

Derek turned Paola on her back then moved on top of her, spreading her legs apart. He kissed her belly button piercing then returned his lips to hers, loving every moment of his euphoria. He felt the explosion start between his legs while he kissed her, touching the body of a supermodel.

Suddenly, the tension woke him up and he felt Paola leave him. Derek kept his eyes closed, hoping the vision would come back. When it didn’t, he sat up in bed, feeling the sweat drip down his chest. His cock was throbbing with release. He had never been hornier in his life. He grabbed his lotion and massaged it onto his cock. He pictured Paola in his mind, her tits inside her swimsuit, her lifted ass, and felt his orgasm start. He’d never fantasized about a real person before. Derek always watched porn to get off, but now he was shaking with pleasure as he thought of her. It never felt so good. When he came, he felt his body relax with the sexual frustration he had.  He breathed deeply, enjoying the tenderness in his groin. He had never cum harder in his life. Paola’s face floated in his mind. He had to have her. There was nothing that could stop him.

“Thanks for meeting me today, Derek,” Tony said as he sat across from him at the table.

“No problem,” he said. “What’s up?” Tony was his new agent. After signing with Rip Curl, he conversed with Tony over the phone and in person. They discussed competitions, his salary, and his gear often.

“We scheduled you for another competition this weekend.”

“That’s short notice,” Derek said as he drank from his beer.

“Are you saying you don’t want to go?”

“No, not at all,” Derek said quickly. “I’ll compete in any competition you want.”

“Good. That’s the attitude I wanted to hear.” He fixed his glasses then pulled out his folders. “I just need you to sign here and here.”

Derek read through the document before he signed anything. He was excited to be sponsored but he wasn’t stupid. He didn’t have a family to get him out of situations anymore. He was the only person he could rely on. The paperwork just said Rip Curl wasn’t liable for any injuries or death. Derek already knew that. He signed it.

“You’ll be leaving Friday and will return on Sunday. All expenses are paid for, including flight, lodging and food.”

“Can I bring anyone?”

“No,” Tony said. “You won’t be alone though.”

“Are you coming?”

“No, my associates who live in California will attend the event. You’ll be traveling with Ms. Francesca, the winner of the women’s competition.”

Derek’s eyes widened. “She’s coming? For real?”

Tony raised an eyebrow. “Will that be a problem?”

“No, no,” Derek said with a smile. “There’s absolutely no problem. I’m glad I’m stuck with her all weekend.”

Tony laughed. “She is a very sexy lady.”

Derek glared at him. Tony was forty with a wife and two kids. He didn’t like it when anyone looked at her that way, especially a creepy old man.

Tony ignored him. “Here’s your flight information, your ticket, your hotel reservations, and a visa card for your food expenses.” He dug in his bag and pulled out an envelope. “And here’s your check for the month.”

Derek opened it and felt his mouth drop. “This is just for this month?”

Tony winked. “You got it made, kid.”

“Shit. I may as well just drop out of school.”

“You haven’t already?”

“Well, no. I can’t surf forever.

One of my clients is fifty and he’s amazing. Don’t let that chase you off.”

Derek nodded. “Thanks, Tony.”

He stood up and patted him on the shoulder. “Good luck at the competition. We’d be very pleased if both of you won. I think Paola will sweep the girl’s division. You’ll have a hard time. The Australian team will be there.”

“I hate those blokes,” Derek said in an Australian accent. “But I
’ll kick their asses, mate.”

Tony patted him on the shoulder again. “Keep up the good work. And have fun with Paola.” He winked and walked away.

Derek gathered the papers and stared at them blankly for a moment. He was excited to travel to California since he’d never been there, and he was happy about this paycheck, but he was more excited about being alone with Paola. Maybe something would happen between them. After jerking off to her last night, he was even more obsessed with her, which was odd since he hardly knew her.

He left the bar then drove to the restaurant where he was meeting his sister and her boyfriend, who Derek despised.

When Derek sat in the booth, Ryder had his arm around her shoulders and he was kissing her neck. “Ah-hem.”

“Sorry, man,” Ryder said, pulling away. “I didn’t you see there.” He had
long brown hair and kept flipping it out of his face. His face was pale and white, almost ghostly. He wore a metal ring on his forefinger and he had a tattoo on his wrist. Derek couldn’t even stand looking at the guy. And the idea of Ryder fucking his sister pissed him off even more.

Derek looked at the menu so he wouldn’t punch Ryder.

“Aren’t you going to say hi?” Cheyenne asked.

“Hi,” Derek said while reading the menu.

“Don’t be a jerk,” she snapped.

“Let it go,” Ryder said
as he patted her shoulder. “He just had a bad day.”

“No,” Derek said. “I just don’t like you.”

“Derek!”

Derek looked at his sister the
n looked down. “I’m getting a bacon avocado burger. What are you              getting?”

She sighed. “Cheese sticks.”

Derek grimaced. “That has absolutely no nutritional value.”

“When did you become a health expert?”

Derek leaned back in his chair and ignored her.

“So, how was your day?”’ Ryder asked.

Derek didn’t look at him. “Good. I’m going to San Diego this weekend.”

“Cool,” Ryder said. “What for?”

“A surf competition.”

“In California?” Cheyenne asked.

“What other San Diegos do you know of?” Derek said sarcastically.

Cheyenne rolled her eyes. “Are you going alone?”

He smiled. “No. I’m going with the female winner of the competition.”

“I recognize that smile,” Ryder said. “Someone is going to get laid.”

Derek felt the anger rise but he didn’t let it escape.

“Who is she?” Cheyenne asked.

Before Derek could answer, the waiter came over and took their orders. Ryder ordered a burger, a shake, and a beer. Derek wasn’t sure where he put it. He was so skinny. When they were alone, Derek spoke.

“Her name is Paola. I just met her the other day.”

“Do you like her?” Cheyenne asked.

“I don’t know her very well,” Derek said. “But I like what I see.”

“You’re such a pervert,” Cheyenne said.

“I think she’s hot, but I would like to get to know her,” Derek said. “She’s hard to approach.”

“Your moves don’t work?” Ryder asked.

“She’s—different,” Derek said.

“In what way?” Cheyenne asked.

“She’s just—mega hot. Like, a supermodel. I get nervous every time I talk to her. The last time I spoke to her, I sounded like a total dweeb.”

“Dweeb?” Ryder asked.

Derek ignored him.

“Just talk to her,” Cheyenne said. “She can’t be that different.”

“I’ll talk to her this weekend,” Derek said. “I’ll be spending a lot of time with her.”

The waiter brought their food and they ate quietly. Ryder had reasonable manners but he still made a mess. Cheyenne ate her food like she was starving. Derek took his time eating his burger, Paola’s face flashing in his mind.

“I’m going to miss you,” Cheyenne said.

Derek raised an eyebrow. “I’ll be gone for a weekend.”

“But you’ll still be off the island,” she said. “It’s weird.”

“Are you trying to get an invite?” Derek asked.

“No…”

“Well, I have to get this chick so I need alone time with her. Sorry.”

She sighed.

The waiter brought the tab and set it on the table. Derek opened it and threw in the cash for his food. Cheyenne and Ryder didn’t reach for the tab. Derek ate his fries while he waited to see what Ryder would do.

Ryder reached into his back pocket then made a face. He leaned toward Cheyenne. “Baby, I forgot my wallet.”

“Oh, it’s okay. I got it,” she said.

Derek felt the explosion inside his body. He knew Ryder was lying. There was no doubt. Derek looked at his sister and shook his head. She met his gaze but silently commanded him to be quiet.

“So, you can’t afford to pay your electricity bill but you can afford dinner?” Derek asked. “While this fucker lives at home with his momma?”

“Derek!” Cheyenne said.

Derek glared at Ryder. “You’re a piece of shit.”

“I forgot my wallet,” Ryder said. “Honestly. I’ll pay her back when I get home.”

Cheyenne tucked her credit card inside the tab but Derek pulled it out.

“My sister isn’t paying for this,” he said, putting more money inside. “And I don’t want your money, asshole.”

“Derek, keep your voice down,” Cheyenne said.

Derek threw his napkin on the table and stood up. Cheyenne followed him
, Ryder trailing behind.

When Derek reached his truck, Cheyenne grabbed him.

“You are being ridiculous right now,” Cheyenne said.

He jerked his arm away. “I gave him a chance and
he blew it.”

“It was an honest mistake.”

Derek looked at Ryder, who was standing near her car, his back to them. It was dark but Derek could see his pants. There was a noticeable bulge in the back pocket. He marched to him then grabbed his wallet from the back pocket. Derek grabbed Cheyenne and held the wallet to her face. “HE IS A FUCKING LIAR!” He threw the wallet down then grabbed Ryder by the face, punching him in the jaw. “Get away from my sister or I’ll fucking kill you.”

Ryder fell to the ground then got back to his feet. “I didn’t know it was in there.”

“So you didn’t notice it when you sat down. Don’t fucking insult me.”

Cheyenne said nothing, seeing the wallet on the ground.

Derek turned to her. “This relationship is over. I mean it. You will not date him. I won’t allow it.”

“Don’t tell me what to do,” she said weakly.

“Don’t be fucking stupid. If you can’t see that this guy is a loser, then I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with you. I don’t like him, I never will. You’re done with him.”

“Derek—”

“I’m your brother. Boyfriends come and go, but I’m your man for life. I will not allow you to date him. Dad is turning over in his grave right now.”

Her eyes started to well up.

“The next time I see you, you better tell me it’s over.” He stared her down, waiting for her to say something.

A tear fell down her cheek but Derek felt no remorse.

Derek turned to his truck then slammed the door shut. When he left, he drove faster than he meant to. He didn’t go home. Instead, he went to the beach. After he parked his truck, he sat in the sand and stared at the waves, trying to calm down. Taking care of his sister was harder than he thought it was going to be. He loved her so much and she deserved to have the best. It broke his heart to see her with a pathetic loser. He couldn’t take it. It was his worst nightmare. He acted like his sister was a pain in the ass, but he loved her with his whole heart. Now he felt bad for his father since he had to raise her. Derek never wanted to have girls. The revelation made Derek hate himself even more for what he did to Nancy. He and Ryder weren’t that different, but at least Derek learned from his mistakes.

He tried to clear his head while he listened to the waves, but he still felt upset. If his sister kept dating him, got knocked up and married him, Derek would have a breakdown.
She was his responsibility and he couldn’t let that happen. His father would be so disappointed in him if he didn’t stop it.

“Bad day?”

He looked up and saw Paola. “You could say that.”

She was wearing a yellow dress that reached her thighs. It was tight around her chest. The threaded bracelet she wore the other day was around her wrist. The sun was almost gone so it was dark, but he could still see the beauty of her face. Unfortunately, he was too angry to notice.

She came next to him. “Can I join you?”

He nodded.

She sat down next to him, her arm brushing his. Paola dug her feet into the sand. Derek noticed the toe ring she wore. She was always covered in jewelry. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

“No.”

“Do you want to talk about it?”

“No.”

“It’s not safe to be on the beach after sunset.”

“Then why are you here?” he snapped.

Her eyes widened at his remark.

“I’m sorry,” he said quickly. “I’m taking my angry out on you. I take it back.”

She stared at the ocean and crossed her legs.

“Why are you here?” he asked.

“The same reason as you. The ocean cleanses my emotions. It’s the only time I feel at peace.”

He nodded. “I understand your meaning. Do you want to talk about it?”

“No.”

Derek felt stupid for asking. He hardly knew her. “Are you excited for San Diego?”

“What do you mean?”

“The competition next week.”

“How’d you know about that?” She brought her knees to her chest and tucked her hands under her dress, blocking the view of her underwear. Derek glanced down, hoping for a peek. When he looked at her legs, he felt hot all over. Her hair moved in the breeze and he had the desire to touch her. His dream came back to him and he wondered how her breasts really felt. “Hello?”

“Huh?”

She raised an eyebrow. “How’d you know about the competition?”
