D was right; the time had
come. I could continue to live in the shadows of my family or make new dreams
with him.

Mom, I

m sorry. I

ll give the reward money
back. I don

t need it anymore. I have to go. I love you.

My
dreams were coming true in D.
Joining my prince on his motorcycle, I lifted my dress,
flashing him a brief glimpse of his favorite red thong as I settled in behind
him. Tapping his shoulder,

Let

s ride.

Stop them,

shouted
her Mom, followed by Joseph

s screams to take me out as the table erupted

in my rear views. The stunned
crowd before me graciously parted, allowing me to pass through the maze of
tables, unencumbered. That is until Gio started screaming diamonds for
everyone, tossing handful after handful of the shiny baubles into the air,
mixed with the clear glass marbles to stop cold anyone giving chase. The chaos
behind me was maddening. Passing through the doors to a waiting elevator,
compliments of Mile, I mouthed,

I love ya, Mile. Tell Gio to take care of my bike.

Pressing the 12th floor, I watched the doors slowly close
behind us.

So where are
we going, baby?

Up ... We

re going up, baby.

At 8:18, the elevator doors opened. Taking Candi

s hand in mine, I helped her
off my bike and led her up the stairway to the roof and the waiting helo.
Introducing her to my old friend, General Rich Little, we lifted off, flying
south into the dark Florida sky.

Wait!
... Wait!

What about Major?

No worries baby. I left him in charge. He

Ride to Retribution

Chapter 1

The thump…thump…thump sounds of the helicopter's
rotors overpowered the engines deceleration, as General Richard Little powered
back, beginning our decent into the Ft. Myers, Florida airspace around 21:30,
before zeroing in on the helo pad, located to the left of Southwest Florida
International Airport.

“General,” extending my leather gloved hand, “thank you for making
this extraction possible,” I shouted into my mike at touchdown.

Candi, not to be outdone, removed her headset and kissed him
purposely on the cheek. “General Little, I’m grateful D has friends like you.
When he pushed the top floor button instead of ground, since we were on his
motorcycle in the elevator, I had no idea where we were going. Thank you for
rising to his call and getting us here safely.”

“Don’t mention it,” countered Rich, I’m glad to do it. Call on me
anytime, especially you, Miss Parker. I don’t know what you see in this man,
but I certainly know what he sees in you.” He removed his headset, then
grinned.

Look! Look! The awesome power of the Woo-hoo strikes Generals,
too!
I slapped Rich on the shoulder, dropping a small, drawstring pouch
into his lap, filled with a few shiny baubles, twenty-five to be exact.
Roughly, 60 carets give or take, valued between 200K and 300K. These few
diamonds were a far cry from the 150-plus I mailed at the beginning of this
ride, making whole, many of the poor souls Standford swindled in his Ponzi
scheme. Still, it was enough to say ‘Thank You’ from my heart.

Stepping onto the tarmac with Candi in tow, I ‘man hugged’ him as
Rich stepped from the chopper. “I owe you, sir, more than you know. Fly safe.”

“Don’t mention it Captain, I won’t. Besides, it was fun,” shouted
the infamous Air Force, Black Ops Commander out of Hurlburt Field, as he
climbed into the helo and closed the door.

And with that, he was gone; lifting effortlessly into the
starless, black sky.

“Hurry, Candi. We have forty-five minutes to make our flight.”

Clutching my beautiful red gown in both hands, and doing my best
to keep from tripping over it as we hurried along, I said, “D, all you said was
Major was holding the plane. When are you going to tell me where we’re going?”

Scurrying into the terminal towards the Air Canada ticketing
counter, which was kind of a dead giveaway, I answered, “Canada.”

Crossing my fingers I thought
, I bet we’re going to finish the
ride, though maybe not. With D, I never know where his head is from one moment
to the next. Then again, I know where I’d like it to be.
Fond memories of
our lust filled ride enveloped me and I shivered with anticipation.

“Candi, your passport, please?” I graciously asked, before passing
it, along with mine, to an attractive, willowy blond agent named Holly.

“We have a 10:20 flight to Toronto, with a dog. Can we still make
it?”

“Certainly, now that the flight has been delayed by thirty
minutes. Your dog wouldn’t happen to be Major, would he?” asked Holly.

“He would. I guess you’ve met him.”

“Most definitely,” Holly said with a smile. “What a wonderful
temperament. He’s all male, that’s for sure.”

I turned to Candi and grinned, “He does love women.”

“And boobs,” I breathed just above a whisper, “just like his
daddy.”

“Copy that, Candi!” I exclaimed, much louder than a whisper.

Holly blushed. “I have a note here that says since we don’t have a
full flight, Major is welcome to ride in the cabin with you. That is if you
want him to.”

“Gladly,” I said. “He loves to ride shotgun, doesn’t he, Candi?
Not sure what we’ll call this arrangement, but it will definitely work.”

“Excuse me for a moment while I go get him. I’ve sent his crate on
to your final destination,” Holly said, before swishing through the double
doors and disappearing from sight.

Our final destination? Hmm… sounds kinda permanent. Not the best
way to finish our ride. “
Baby, now that I’ve got your undivided attention,” I said,
playfully grabbing his crotch with no one outside our immediate circle the
wiser.
Well, maybe one the wiser, possibly even two, now that his little
brain is awake and responding to my two-handed touch. “
What
is
our
final destination, Jon David?”

“Candi, I want it to be a surprise. After all we’ve been though,
surely you’ll allow me to take your breath away on our next adventure.” I
paused, while her left hand caught up with her right. Noticing how
uncomfortable my jeans had become, I decided to give in and tell her. “OK. I’ll
tell you this much, tonight we’ll be in Toronto.”

Toronto is a great place to stopover, but not to stay long-term.
I released
my playful grip. “I’m with you and Major, my two favorite males. That’s enough
for now,” I said, adding, “until it’s not.”

Damn, did Candi just sound like Victoria? What’s happening to me?
Why is it when I’m with one of my two favorite women, memories of the other one
clouds my terribly twisted mind more times than I would like?

Just then
,
Major plowed through the swinging doors in a
flash, leaping over the luggage check-in station and jumping up to plant his
front paws on Candi’s bodacious breasts. He was smiling his doggie smile and
anxiously awaiting a hug.

I blushed. “That’s my Major. Always wants to cop a feel every time
he sees me,” I turned to Gloria, as D looked on, a wistful look on his face.
What
is that look?
Is he jealous of the dog? Really?

I grinned and said, “Like father, like son. Thankfully, I taught
him to shy away from the Woo-hoo, though. That leaves more for me!” I announced
proudly. I put the leash on Major, as Gloria, who’d been rendered speechless by
my last comment, pointed us to the gate.

We were off! Next stop, Toronto, then onto Mayberry, AKA,
Cornerbrook, Newfoundland.
Or so I thought…

The Airbus A-320 was pre-boarding when we
got to the gate. Our seat assignments were in Business Class, row 3, seats A
and C for Candi and me, with Major plopped down across the aisle in seats D and
F. Being the pampered labra-doodle that he is, he acted right at home. And he
was always happy if Candi was nearby.

When we’d settled into our seats, I closed my eyes for a moment.
Hearing the distinct sound of clanking crutches approaching from the jet way, I
was instantly alert. It sounded like Candi’s cousin Giovanni’s gait before he
was refitted with a ‘strap-on.’

It wasn’t Giovanni; instead I saw a ‘high and tight’ man and his
family coming down the aisle. From the look of him, he was most likely a Marine
or a Seal. From the way he was walking, I could only assume he’d been recently
fitted with a prosthesis.

Whispering seductively to Candi, I asked, “Baby, what say we move
to the back of the plane? The Mile High Club awaits us! It’s is easier to
accomplish that feat back there.” I grinned sheepishly and gave her my best
puppy dog eyes.

I’m not following him. Then again, we’ve made love on everything
that moves, except a plane. There has to be a method to his madness.

Looking at the family of four ambling toward us, I realized in a
flash that there was more to the request than D being D. “Gladly, baby,” I
replied. Grabbing Major’s leash I cooed, “Come Major, Daddy wants to get
frisky. Bet you’re going to earn your keep by guard-dogging the door.”

That’s my girl!
Rising quickly, I ushered the family of
four into our vacated seats. “Guy’s it’s your lucky day. We’re moving to the
back of the plane and you can have our seats,” I told them. “It’s because of
the dog. We wouldn’t want him to bother anyone.”

I pulled my backpack from the overhead bin, receiving a respectful
nod from the soldier/dad and a heartfelt hug from his wife. Feeling like we’d
made a difference for this family, albeit a slight one, I strolled down the
aisle of the plane. Two rows shy of the back, I found Major panting and
sprawled across three seats on my left, while Candi was seductively
spread-eagled across the three seats on my right, her beautiful dress raised
deliciously high enough on one thigh to reveal a glimpse of her exquisite red
thong.

“I know what you did, Jon David, and that’s one of the things I
adore about you.” Swirling my tongue across my Trixie-embossed lips I added,
“Does it count for the Mile High club if it happens before we leave the
ground?”

“I’ll get
back to you on that, baby doll,” were the only words I could muster before
Candi pulled me deftly on top of her and attempted to take my breath away.
