She shook herself. She couldn’t image why she was so
restless today. She’d done enough mental whining for the day. She’d go and play
with Jeff since he was staying for another week. Maybe she could train him to
be a little more assertive. If she couldn’t train him to meet her needs, then
she shouldn’t be playing scenes with him. If he didn’t work out, Halloween was
four months away. She’d find someone else to play with in that time and bring
someone new to the lake. That was her plan. It was good to have a plan for all
situations. She was responsible for her happiness, she just had to grab for it.
No whining allowed. She smiled as she went to get Jeff.

* * * * *

Julia clutched her robe and stood at the window. She watched
many people leave. Why were they all leaving? It was the height of summer and
the best time to be at the lake. She’d just about decided to go downstairs to
ask someone when she heard Alex enter the bedroom.

“Most of your contract has expired,” he said, holding out a
piece of paper.

“What’s this?”

“It’s the cabin contract. I took the liberty of rewriting
it.”

“Rewriting how?” Julia grabbed the paper and started
reading.

“I’ve agreed to help you survive the winter. In exchange
you’ll give me first rights to buy the cabin if you ever decide to sell. We
need to sign it in front of a witness.”

Julia felt a sense of relief wash through her. Surviving the
winter with Alex’s help would be much easier that fighting him.

“The other part of the contract has expired. You’re free to
leave.”

Julia hesitantly asked, “What does that mean?”

“It means you have a choice to make. You’ve proven you can
respond to others. Thanks to Suzanne we know I can survive other men touching
you. That will help take the pressure off me. Are you okay with that? I believe
it’s what you need. We’ll work on your control. Hopefully one day you won’t
need all the others, but in the meantime we’ll make it work. I can overcome my
insane jealousy so your needs can be met.”

Julia swallowed hard. She wasn’t sure what to say so she
asked, “Is that why everyone is leaving? Their contracts have expired?”

“Not everyone, just the guests.”

“There’s room for a lot of people. What is the setup here?”

“I’m creating a very special place. A place where sexuality
can be celebrated without offending people. Everything is consensual. When
we’re not having parties the area is fairly quiet.”

“How often are the parties?”

“I tend to celebrate pagan holidays. Not because I
necessarily believe in them but because they are convenient and many of the
pagan holidays represent a deep connection to the earth. It felt right to be
close to the earth. Besides, they segment the year and are often associated
with cultural holidays.”

“What was this holiday?”

“Midsummer, also called the summer solstice. This one isn’t
celebrated much in Western culture but summer vacations work for it. The next
holiday is Samhain, or Halloween if you prefer. I’m really hoping Lucas will be
here by then.”

“Who is Lucas?”

“He helped me plan the ideal place for us. Then he left just
before I could bring it to fruition. It’s taken me years to find him again. I’m
anxious for you to meet him even if I’m not sure I’ll share you with him.”

“Why not?”

Alex smiled and moved closer. “Because you might like him
better than me and that is not allowed.” He bent down and kissed Julia. “While
I might share, you are mine and that brings me to my next question. Are you
ready for another contract?” He placed a finger on her lip. “Before you answer,
you need to know that this time I want a slightly different contract.” He
hesitated.

“What kind of contract?”

Alex walked over to a desk and pulled out a blank sheet of
paper.

Julia frowned as she watched Alex write one brief paragraph.
He handed the paper to her.

Her eyes widened. She read aloud, “I submit to Alex’s will.
I trust him to keep me safe and happy.” She shook her head. “I’m not going to
sign this. It’s like writing a blank check. You could do anything to me!”

“Isn’t that what trust means? That you know me well enough
to know I won’t just do anything? That I will keep you safe and happy?”

The paper shook as Julia’s hand trembled. Did she trust him
that much? Yes, answered her heart. Alex could handle her condition and he
wouldn’t hurt her. She knew that but she couldn’t sign the paper as it was. She
walked to the desk and added one more sentence before signing it. She turned to
hand it to him and said, “This contract expires on Samhain. We can renegotiate
it then.”

“I’ll look forward to that negotiation. In the meantime…”
Alex took her into his arms. He pushed her robe off her shoulders and let it
fall to the floor. He bent his head and captured her mouth. His kiss started
gently before deepening into a soul-searing claim. His tongue plunged into her
mouth. While she was lost in the kiss, he swung her onto the carpet. His hand
moved to her breast, softly squeezing it on the way to pinching her nipple.

Julia squirmed, instantly aroused by Alex’s actions. “I need
you now. Please Alex…” Her voice trailed off as he moved his hand to her pussy.
Rubbing her clit as his fingers entered her dripping heat. She moaned.

He paused for a second before he said, “Come for me, Julia.
Don’t wait. Come now!”

Julia’s orgasm swept through her body. She shuddered at the
intensity of it and lost herself in the moment. Reveling in the pleasure Alex
generated so easily.

As she floated back to reality, she felt safe and warm in
Alex’s arms. She wasn’t worried about her blank contract with Alex. He would
take care of her. She sighed. She couldn’t wait to find out what Alex had
planned for the rest of the summer.
