Brynn knelt between his legs and ran her hand up and down his length. At the first touch of her hand, Chandler shuddered with pleasure and swallowed hard. He watched every move she made, not saying a word, but the response of his body said everything she needed to know.

She kissed the head of his shaft before taking it all into her mouth with one long, slow stroke. Chandler groaned and threw his head back against the pillows. She bobbed her head up and down, licking him as she went. He stiffened even more as she worked on him, and soon he was throbbing with the need for release.

"Brynn, I'm not going to last long. It feels too good," he told her, sounding almost as if he was in pain.

"Go ahead. Give in," Brynn murmured, before she gave him a smile and took him into her mouth again. She bobbed up and down, slowly, then faster, driving him right to the edge. He groaned deeply as he came, releasing at the back of her throat. She moaned right along with him at the feeling of getting him off for the first time. Brynn swallowed everything Chandler had given her, then used her tongue to clean him up. By the time she was done, he was looking down at her, grinning like a fool.

"Wow! That was amazing!" He pulled Brynn into his arms.

"Just think of how amazing it will be when we finally have sex!" Brynn laughed.

"Thank you," Chandler said, starting to get choked up. His passion now sated, the emotion poured in. "Thank you for making me feel alive again. And I'm not talking about what we just did, but in every aspect of my life." He planted a soft kiss on her lips. "That was my first time for anything since..."

"I know," she said quietly. "Are you okay?"

Chandler didn't even have to think about it. "Absolutely okay," he said, smiling at her with complete reassurance.

Brynn cuddled closer to him. "Do you want to sleep here tonight?"

"Do you think I should?"

"I don't know about should, but I want you to."

"Okay, then I will." He pulled his boxers up and put his jeans on the chair next to the bed. He slid his shirt over his head and put it with his jeans. Brynn got up out of bed, turned off the TV and went into the bathroom.

When she came out, she had on a small red nightgown. It was pretty, but not too sexy. It was just perfect for their first night together. They both slid under the covers and within minutes they were asleep in each other's arms.

Chapter 13

B
rynn woke up the next morning wrapped tight in Chandler's arms. She had slept better last night than she had in years. It was a little odd for her at first, to have to share her bed with someone again, but lying so close to Chandler brought a peaceful feeling over her that she had never had, even when she was with Nico. She felt calm, and she felt safe...both things she hadn't felt in a while.

She tried to get up out of bed without Chandler noticing, but as soon as she moved, his arms tightened around her. "Mmm, not yet. This feels too good," he moaned, his eyes still closed.

"I know it does, but we need to get up before the kids do," Brynn said.

Chandler shot up out of bed. "Oh, man. How could I have forgotten about the kids? They didn't cross my mind once this morning, and I definitely didn't feel like I was doing something wrong that I had to hide from them."

"Maybe it just felt so right that we forgot it's something we should be hiding?"

"It did feel right, didn't it?" Chandler pulled Brynn into his arms and gave her a light kiss on her lips. "I don't regret last night for anything. I'm happy with everything that happened, and I hope you feel the same."

Brynn nodded. "No regrets here either," she smiled. "Now, get dressed, so we can go downstairs and make the kids some breakfast."

"So wait, no awkward morning, no long talk about where this is going?"

"No, not unless you want that." Brynn smiled again. "There's no awkwardness because both of us wanted what happened last night. We both just agreed that there were no regrets, so why should we feel weird? As for a long talk about where this is going...I'm just tired of worrying about it. It seems like that's all I've been thinking about lately, and it's done nothing but stress me out. Maybe we should just stop questioning everything and let whatever we have lead us for now."

Chandler smiled. Brynn never ceased to amaze him. "I guess you're right. You really are a remarkable woman, you know that?"

Brynn grinned. "Yes, I know!" she said playfully. "Now get dressed and meet me in the kitchen. And hurry!"

She disappeared out the door, closing it behind her.

Chandler stood there laughing and shaking his head.

Brynn and Chandler were in the kitchen making breakfast when Willow and Barrett finally woke up. Willow was surprised to see her father there so early in the morning. "Daddy! What are you doing here? You never have breakfast with us!"

"Hi, pumpkin. I just got up early and wandered over here when I smelled Brynn's wonderful cooking. You know, I think people come from miles around for her special apple pancakes!"He picked her up in a big hug. "Actually, we're all going to the zoo today, and I wanted to get a head start. So after your breakfast, you and Barrett need to hurry up and get ready to go."

"The zoo! Cool!" Willow and Barrett both shouted.

Chandler looked over at Brynn and shrugged. Willow and Barrett both shoveled their food in their mouths as fast as they could, then ran off to get dressed.

Chandler and Brynn were alone in the kitchen again. "I hate lying to her," Chandler said solemnly. "I hope you don't mind going to the zoo today."

"The zoo sounds great," Brynn said, as she put her arms around his neck. "I hate lying to the kids too, but what happens if we tell them about us, and then something happens and we aren't together anymore? Don't you think that will hurt them worse than anything?"

"I know, I know. I just feel bad sneaking around, though." He laid his forehead on hers. "I'm going to go get ready. Send Willow over to change her clothes when she comes back down, please."

Chandler gave Brynn a quick kiss, and was out of her arms and at the back door before she could return the favor.

Everyone had fun at the zoo. Willow and Barrett had a blast imitating all the animals, especially the monkeys. Chandler and Brynn had their share of fun, stealing kisses and holding hands when the kids weren't looking. It was the perfect way to end the weekend, before Chandler and Brynn had to go back to work, and Willow and Barrett had to go to the babysitters. Summer would be ending soon, with the kids going back to school, so fun days like this were numbered.

When they got home, Brynn and Barrett bid Chandler and Willow goodnight, as they retreated to their own houses, neither kid noticing the longing look between their parents.

The week dragged on and on for Brynn and Chandler. Neither could wait for the weekend, when they could spend some time together again. Even though they saw each other a few times throughout the week, it wasn't the same as the quality time they were able to spend on the weekends.

Chandler had spoken with his mother early in the week, and she agreed to take Willow and Barrett to her house for a sleepover on Friday night. When Friday afternoon rolled around, Chandler couldn't wait to get home from work. As soon as he got there, he ran upstairs to shower and change, before Brynn got there to help cook for the dinner they were having.

Shortly after Chandler got out of the shower, he heard his doorbell. He ran downstairs to open it, finding Brynn standing there, hands full of groceries. After a quick kiss, Chandler took the bags from Brynn and brought them to the kitchen. He had expected Brynn to follow him, but when he turned around, he noticed that she wasn't there.

Brynn stood at the doorway, hesitant to enter. She remembered the last time she was there, and how she had a mini-breakdown over the pictures of Brooklyn. Brynn didn't think she could go through that again, especially not when things were going so well between her and Chandler, finally. She turned to leave, but just as she was walking down the steps of the porch, she felt a hand reach out and grab her arm.

"Where are you going? I thought you were going to help me cook."

Brynn shook her head. "I'm sorry. I just...I..." Brynn tried to tell him why she couldn't go in his house, but she didn't know how to start.

"Okay. I understand. But I have something to show you."

He pulled on her hand and Brynn stood still. His eyes pleaded with her, and finally she relented, making her way into his house.

"I've done a little redecorating," Chandler said.

Brynn looked to the mantle. There was only one picture of Brooklyn left. She ran her hand over the mostly empty shelf, and looked at Chandler with hope in her eyes.

"Brynn, that night after the hot tub, I realized that I needed to do something to be able to move on with my life. These pictures were holding me back. Brooklyn will never be completely gone from my memory, but she will never be in my future either. I understand that now. I accept it."

Brynn had tears in her eyes as she nodded.

"I want you to feel comfortable here, Brynn. I don't want you to be afraid to step foot in my house, and I don't want you to feel anxious either, constantly worrying about my past." He shrugged. "I kept one picture...Willow needs to remember her mother."

"Of course she does," Brynn whispered. "I would expect nothing less."

"So...is it okay that I did this?"

Brynn threw her arms around his neck. "Oh Chandler! How can you even ask? I don't know whether to say 'thank you' or 'good for you', because I want to say both. Does that make me selfish because I'm happy you did this?"

Chandler laughed. "No, it doesn't make you selfish. It just shows that you care, and want to be with me. That makes me happy," he replied, and kissed her.

He meant for it to be a quick kiss, but Brynn took the initiative to deepen it as she ran her hands through his dark hair. She kissed him hard and long, her tongue invading his mouth possessively, until neither of them could breathe.

"Wow!" he said after he pulled away. "Think we can call all our guests and cancel, so that we can keep doing this all night?"

"Not likely. Now get your butt in the kitchen. We have some cooking to do," Brynn said as she slapped his toned bottom.

"Yeah baby! I like it like that!" Chandler joked as he jumped and ran to the kitchen.

"Oh, you! Dirty, dirty...!" Brynn laughed.

The two set out to cook some food for the party. They were going to have a nice dinner including Mike Mussina, Zaiden, Nyla, and three other friends. Then after dinner, they had invited other friends over.

As soon as dinner was in the oven, Brynn told Chandler that she had to go home and get ready. An hour later, there was a knock at his back door.

He thought it was odd that any of his friends would use his back door, but went to answer it anyway. As soon as the door opened, Chandler got a nice surprise. There stood Brynn in a pair of black leather pants and a strapless silver tube top.

"What's wrong, don't like my outfit?" she asked coyly.

Chandler just stared at her as she moved closer to him. "Are you trying to kill me?" he asked when he got his senses back.
