“You’re perfect,” he said, without setting foot in the apartment.
Hmmm, I thought, you’re not too bad yourself. After spending months in London training with Steve and living in South Africa I was in really good condition—huge pecs, small waist and a golden California tan.

“Who will I be working with?”
“Hank Hightower and Ryan Block.”

Gino gave me the role in
Night Walk
and told me that Ryan Block would pick me up the following day to drive me to the set.

The set for
Night Walk
was astonishing. It had been built in a gigantic studio and consisted of futuristic landscapes and vistas further than the eye could see. Four to five scenes were normal for a film. So I sat down and wrote. As I had an English accent I worked that into the script. I would play an English guy visiting his American cousin who I decided would be played by Chad Conners (the hot, blond, straight bodybuilder who I met on the set of
Night Walk

Chad’s apartment was built on a soundstage in the San Fernando Valley and the five-scene film was to be shot on four consecutive days.
On the first day of filming, Milton, the owner of the studio where our set was built, greeted us. He was a stocky middle-aged guy who looked like he could have been captain of the high school football team when he was younger. Gino was always very upbeat on the porn sets. Perhaps because he had been making porn since the seventies, nothing got him down or perhaps because he just really liked working with me as I was so easy going. I wanted the film to look great and so did he. When you have that mutual respect between the star and the director, great films are made.
We sat around waiting for Chad as the rest of the crew arrived. I chatted to the famous straight porn star Mr. Marcus in the makeup room. He had been in another part of the studio filming a scene and I wandered over to watch.
