No. Please leave them in there for one more minute.

Rose obeyed and the outward pressure exerted against her tender flesh sent her over the edge. She could feel every millimeter of its warm metal smoothness and its definite roundness as it journeyed out of her. The orgasm possessed her thoroughly, and she didn't even notice when the final ball exited her anus. She could vaguely hear herself screaming with complete abandonment, but it sounded like her voice was in the next room. Everything inside her tensed and released as a tingling sensation traveled up and down her thighs, and she wanted to collapse on the bed in exhaustion.

Matt clutched her hips and held her in place firmly. Rose felt his hot seed shoot into her as he called her name over and over again, each time with more urgency than the last. Jason moved his body beneath her, and the coverlet scratched against her skin. They were finally letting her independently relax her weight. Matt's hands disappeared from her, and her body fell forward.

Someone untied her wrists, and the other removed the blindfold carefully from her head. Long strands of her hair tangled in it, and there were a few brief shocks when she dared to open her eyes. Jason was still panting as he lay on his back next to her. Rose turned her head towards him; she could see the streams of sweat dripping from his brow, and she put her arm over his chest. Jason turned to look at her and mouthed that he loved her.

"Don't forget to put your legs up on the headboard," Jason said as he smiled. She heard Matt laugh as he climbed into the bed to join them.

CHAPTER SEVEN
Acceptance

The sunlight streaming into the bedroom from the windows east-facing woke Rose first. Her heavy eyes opened to see Jason's face a few inches from hers like any other normal morning. Everything in her body ached, but she felt strangely at peace with the world, her life, and the two men she loved.

Her heart didn't feel split or shared -- it felt complete. Jason was still her husband, and would always be her husband. She loved him for his soul, his caring ways and protective nature, and all the things she realized about him when he finally got the nerve to propose to her twelve years ago. Jason was her world, and she would never let him go.

Matt occupied a different part of her heart as it did years ago; he was the object of all her physical longings with a touch of sympathy. She wanted him as much as she needed Jason, but for some other different reason. Matt was the enigma, and she wanted to solve his riddle.

Jason was her daytime and Matt would be her night. Rose concluded they would figure out a way for it to work for them all; it obviously couldn’t go back the way it was before. She couldn’t settle for merely crossing the line one night, and whatever needed to be done to keep Matt in their lives, she would do. And of course, she had to wait two weeks to see if anything came of last night.

That wait is going to suck.

She rubbed her eyes a bit and kissed Jason's forehead. "Wake up, sleepyhead." Jason mumbled something unintelligible and smiled with his eyes still closed. It was probably the single most joyous thing Rose observed about her husband in the past year.

Rose turned to her other side and reached for Matt. Her hand hit empty sheets."Jason, Matt is gone. Wake up!"

There was a knock at the suite's door accompanied by a muffled woman's voice that said, "Housekeeping!" The sound of a key card inserted into the door's lock and the handle turning followed.

"We're still in here," Rose called out. "Please come back later!" The half open door shut with a muted click.

Half awake, Jason sat up and looked around the room. "He is probably in the guest shower or something," he said. "Matt… you around, bro? Let's get breakfast."

“Wait,” Rose whispered. “I need to know something first.”

“What?” Jason whispered back.

“Was last night real? The things you said?”

Jason sighed. “Yes. I always knew, and I didn’t love you any less. I was a little hurt, but it made sense after some time. Then all the years passed and it really didn’t affect anything until…”

“I love you, Rose,” he continued. “As long as I am making you happy and giving you what you need. And you need Matt in our lives. It isn’t as complicated as you think it is. I know you are probably going to obsess over the next few weeks, but I wish you’d accept it and move on.”

He reached over Rose and picked up an envelope off Jason's pillow. Rose sat up too, clutching the sheets and comforter to her bosom. "What is it?"

"A note.” Jason read its contents to her:

Jason & Rose,

Had to go early. Biz stuff in China. Back in a few months.

Use enclosed for whatever you need.

Love both of you,

Matt

Jason rummaged in the envelope and pulled out what looked like a check. "Hey, it is for $20,000!" he said incredulously.

"Let me see that," said Rose. Jason handed her the check, and it wasn't the amount of money it was written out for that made tears stream down her cheeks.

It was one simple word on the "Memo" line scrawled in Matt's barely legible handwriting, but it couldn't be mistaken for anything else.

Family.

“Why are you crying?” Jason asked.

“He's gone.” She immediately regretted saying that.

“Matt will never be gone. We’ll see him again in six months at the latest,” Jason said.

She sniffled. “Jason, did you and Matt…”

He cut her off, and that signaled to Rose that she touched on something that she couldn’t ever bring up again.

“A part of him is at the fertility clinic if last night didn’t work, and he left the money for it. Speaking of which, there are some papers for you to sign.”

Jason leaned over and kissed her. Something stiff rubbed against her thigh.

“But that can wait,” she said. “We have a couple hours before they kick us out of this place.”
