So
now not only did he choose her underwear, although only in general terms so far,
he knew her hair would be loose, and she'd be wearing stockings. He also knew
that she wouldn't wear a thong for work, and her boy pants would no longer have
slogans on them, which was fair enough. Not only that, she would go braless,
and shoeless at home. The way she'd agreed to the last two gave him a good idea
that was the norm anyway. He'd allow her that little triumph … if she fessed up
before too long. Nic was enjoying himself. He realized he'd deliberately
bricked off a large part of his life, and now he was pulling down the wall with
a vengeance. He might need to slow down, and do it brick by brick rather than
row by row, but down it was coming.

The
door opened, and Nina stood in front of him. As soon as she saw it was him, she
dipped her head. That simple gesture of respect took his breath away. He hadn't
asked for it, thinking it might be too much too soon. "Thank you, anima
mia. Unasked for but gladly received."

She
lifted her head, and he noticed her eyes were full of mischief.
"Pardon?
Oh you thought I was bowing my head in
respect, not looking to check I hadn't got mud on my shoes?"

His
heart thumped so hard it was a wonder Nina didn't hear it. It served him right
for assuming.

"You
were right."

He
laughed, light-hearted once more. "You are a brat you know. Do I add that
to the infringement list?
The dissing your Dom one."

Nina
shook her head.
"Nope.
I'm sorry, but I couldn't
resist. Either showing you respect or teasing. We hadn't discussed that, and I
don't know what you like or prefer."

But she'd thought about it, and
decided to do something.
The thought pleased him more than he could say.

"Exactly what you did.
With this as
well."
Nic kissed her, pressing his tongue to her lips and slipping
it between them as they parted. Nina moaned into his mouth as he deepened the
kiss, and the reverberations teased him, daring him to do more. Her scent
filled his senses, and it would have been all so easy to do as his body
demanded and take more. To say, sod the club let’s go to bed, or on the table,
the stairs or any useful surface. Reluctantly Nic softened the kiss and pulled
back. He had to clear his voice before he spoke, and he was somewhat glad Nina
looked as dazed as he felt. The moment they touched it was as if they needed
more and ever more.

"Then
that's good. I'm ready, if you think this will do for the club?" She ran
her hand over her front-buttoned silky vest and short pleated skirt. "It's
a long time since I've been there."

Nic
took his time as he deliberately looked from her head to her feet. Anyone would
think he'd only just noticed what she wore. However he wasn't averse to a
second, longer, more deliberate perusal. He smothered a grin as Nina rubbed her
fingers together. It was a key indicator that she was either agitated or annoyed.
He suspected the latter. As much as he would like to make her wait for his
answer, Nic decided not to. He'd noticed the faint shadow of apprehension in
her eyes, and she'd admitted during the week that she was anxious that he might
be disappointed by the end of the evening. If he was honest, so was he. The
more he got to know about her, the more Nic wanted to know. "Spot on,
love."

Nina
let her breath out noisily. "Phew, for a minute I thought you were going
to tell me there that I'd got it all wrong."

"How
many times did you change?"

She
blushed. "Never
you mind
. Okay let me get my bag
and keys."

Nic
held out his hand for the keys, and after a brief startled glance, Nina passed
them to him.

He locked the door and
handed them back. She tucked them inside her handbag.

"Why
did you do that?" Nina asked once she was inside the car with him.
"Lock my door? I've been doing it for years."

"Good."
Nic checked the flow of traffic and overtook a bus. "And when we're
together I'll do it for you."

"But why?"
Nina asked again. "Why not
just let me lock up?"

There's that word again.

"I
swear the first word you ever spoke was why," Nic said as he turned the
car into the street where Dommissimma was situated. "And I bet it will be
your last. I agree that to question things you don't understand is a good
thing, but by heck, Nina, you'd even question why I asked for dark chocolate
not milk."

"No,
I wouldn't then," she said in a triumphant tone. "Because dark
chocolate helps to control the sub drop a sub might get after a scene.
Or a Dom for that matter."
She didn't add so there, but
Nic could hear it inferred in her voice.

"Good.
I've found one action you won't question. I wonder if there's any
more?
" He stopped the car in the half empty car park
and switched of the engine. "Not too busy, but it looks like there'll be
enough going on so you'll be able to gauge your reactions. Let me come ‘round
and help you out. And before you say anything, that, plus locking your door are
just some of those common courtesies we spoke of over the phone. To me I don't
do it as a Dom, I do it as a man."

"I
might question it, the chocolate. I'd wonder who it was for." Nina said as
they approached the nondescript door to Dommissimma. "Seeing as we're not
scening."

"Not
at the moment." Nic agreed with her. "But who knows when we might
need it." He looked at her pale face. "Are you sure you're okay with
this? I don't want you passing out or anything." Her pallor worried him. He
hoped she wasn't anemic.

"What?"
She sounded surprised. "I'm fine, why?"

"You're
as white as a sheet."

"I
usually am," Nina said. "But in this case I think it's hunger, worry
I might let you down rather than natural Celtic pale skin, and oh sh—oot, I
recognize that car." Nina waved toward a dark saloon in the corner of the
car park. "Beware of nosy Doms. That's Edan's, and if he's here it’s a
shoe in Athol will be as well."

"Why
are you hungry?" Nic honed in on her first reason.

"Running
late, apprehension, forgot to buy bread, take your pick.
And
now a crowing Athol."

Nic
grinned and kissed her nose. She wrinkled it. "That tickles."

"It'll
be directed at me as well as you, anima mia. I've only been around when needed
these last few years. And there's no need to be apprehensive. We're not
scening, and you said nothing frightened you, just that it wasn't your thing,
so why worry?"

"I
didn't say it was logical," Nina said. "I can't explain it, there's
no logical explanation, in fact no explanation at all. It makes no sense, but
it’s
how I feel." She bit her lip and gave a
deprecating smile.
"Stupid or what?"

Nic
tugged her to one side of the door. "Not stupid. But I'm going to do my
damnedest to change how you feel. Nina, love, nothing you can say or do will
let me down."
Unless it's let's get
out of here, or I don't want to see you again, Nic.
"Remember you can
safe word me over anything. And a nip just here," he put her thumb and
forefinger on the back of his hand, "will alert me if something is
bothering you and we need to move away and talk. Yes?"

"Yes."

"Then
are you ready?"

Nina
blinked and squared her shoulders. "Yes, Sir, I'm ready." He could see
her mindset changing as she spoke.

"Then
let's go in." Nic keyed in a series of numbers on a security keyboard and
pressed his thumb to a grey oblong pad. Nina looked at him in surprise.

"Sadly a new innovation.
You can't even get into the
foyer now unless you've got clearance."

"We
did on the hen night."

"You
were expected, and Athol unlocked the door as the coach arrived. Now we lock it
and buzz people in."

The door swung open, and Nic stood back to let
Nina precede him. Once inside the door closed automatically. "Everything
else is the same. We'll sign in, and then you can go into the ladies’ locker
room and stow your stuff."

Nina
nodded. "And here's the crow-master himself."

She
was right, Athol did crow.

"Well,
my oh my, look what we've got here.
Dominic being the Dom
again, eh?
Properly and not on duty.
And Nina.
That's interesting. So, how do I look at this
concept, hmm?" He leant forward and enveloped Nina in a hug before he
kissed her soundly. She kissed him back.

Nic
was surprised at the flare of anger that hit him.
Anger and
envy.
The pair of them looked so comfortable together.

She's
mine. Dammit, I'm jealous. That's what I want.
An easy, happy
relationship, but with sexual love
.
He coughed theatrically.

Athol
took his time in moving back from Nina, who gave Nic a startled look and bit
her lip. Nic smiled at her. He had no right to make her feel she shouldn't
greet her friend as she wanted to. Not that Athol gave her much option.

"
You waiting
for your kiss and cuddle, Nic?" Athol asked,
and with a wicked grin he walked up to Nic and proceeded to hug him and land a
loud, smacking kiss on Nic's cheek. "There. Now you won't feel left
out."

Nic
laughed. "Yes, I will. Nina hasn't kissed me as well."

Athol
rolled his eyes. "Nina, sweet,
kiss
your
Dom."

She
giggled.
"My Dom as in how?"

"Ah,
now that's not for me to say, is it? Let's get you signed in and give you your
locker numbers, then kiss him and come through when you're ready."

He
handed over papers and pens, and they both signed in. Nic couldn't remember the
last time he'd been in the club as a member not as a duty Dom.

"Good
show." Athol told them their locker numbers.
"All
done and legal.
There's a nice wee scribing about to start, and Linsey's
going to demo later I do believe." He sketched a wave and walked through
the swing doors behind the reception desk.

"Go
on then. Do as the Master said and kiss your Dom."

"Oh my pleasure."

Nina
put her lips to his and held onto his shoulders. Then she put one hand behind
his head. The soft pressure of her palm made Nic's skin tingle. He tangled one
fist into her hair and slipped his tongue between her lips. She grazed it with
her teeth, alternately sucking and nipping. His mind became a myriad of colors
as he let himself be enveloped by her closeness. Her nipples pressed against
his chest, and his cock responded to the unspoken hint of her pussy rubbing
over it. All of a sudden Nic's trousers were too tight.
Damned if I don't want her in every way possible.
For a split
second Nic wished he hadn't promised to take it slowly and let Nina decide when
to lose her virginity. But he had, and deep down he knew it was the right thing
to do.

When
Nina loosened her hold on him, he untangled his hand from her hair, letting her
set the pace to end the kiss. They were both breathing heavily, and he wondered
if her stunned look was reflected in his eyes.

"Blimey,
Nic, what is it with us that one touch and I want you to rip my clothes off and
change my maidenly status?" Nina ran her hand over her head and flattened
her hair down. He had made a bit of a mess.

"Compatibility,"
he said, and she grinned. "And take my word for
it,
I want to change your maidenly status as much as you do. And I will, and soon,
just say the word. I also want to change your no subbing status, and we can
hopefully do that much sooner. You might want to brush your hair before we go
through. Hedge and pulled backwards springs to mind. I'll see you on the other side."
Nic turned Nina around toward the direction of the ladies’ rooms, and patted
her backside. Then he looked up to the security camera and gave it the bird.

"Hope
you enjoyed the show."

Nina
spun round. "Ah shit.
Who?"

"Athol.
I bet you a fiver he's sitting
behind the security camera, listening and watching all of this."

"Don't
take the bet, sweet. He's right, and I give you ten out of ten." The disembodied
voice rolled around the foyer, as did the raucous laugh that came after.

Nina
blushed
the color of her hair.
"Bastard."
She made a beeline for the door into the ladies’ locker room.

For
once Nic didn't pull her up on her language. He shook his head and walked
through the door into the gents’ rooms.

Chapter Eleven

Nina
splashed cold water over her cheeks. It was no wonder Athol had crowed when you
considered he was the one who trained her, and had told her in no uncertain
terms she wasn't even trying to sub. Trust him to have seen and heard
everything in the foyer as well. She was thankful that he wouldn't have heard
anything he didn't know or guessed at. At least the interlude had put some
color back into her cheeks. She had been pale and really couldn't account for
the butterflies in her tummy and the faint feeling of nausea. She wasn't scared
of anything she might see or do, unless it reflected badly on Dominic. He'd
become important to her in a short space of time, and she didn't want her
attitude to hurt him. If only she could drum up some enthusiasm.
