Corey paused, staring down at his cup. “Yeah, I do.”

“Then you’re close to falling in love.”

“Are you in love with Becca?”

“Without a doubt. I know her, and she’s not ready to accept me in her life just yet. I can wait for her.”

Corey couldn’t handle the thought of letting Alexa leave him for a summer at a time.

“It can’t be that much love. She leaves your ass every single year.”

“Alexa told you her darkest secret yet?” William asked.

“No.”

“Then I’ve got more with Becca than you’ve got with your woman.” William drank his coffee, making an appreciative noise afterward. “I know every little desire with Becca. She trusts me enough to satisfy her. Becca may leave for the summer, but I know she’s coming back to me.” William finished his coffee. “The rumors are running wild around the club about you and Alexa.”

“Tell them to all mind their fucking business.” Finishing his coffee, he gripped the edge of the counter, thinking about what William had told him. “What else did Becca say to you?”

William shrugged. “She’s pissed that I’ve let you get to her friend. She’s going to want to have a get together, drinks or something.”

“Great, invite her here. Alexa and I will show her she has nothing to be concerned about.”

“Sure.”

He talked with William for another hour before he saw him out. Once he was alone, he started to pace up and down his apartment, trying to put his world back into focus.

She doesn’t trust you.

Alexa wouldn’t tell him her darkest fantasies.

“I want to go down to the dungeon and see what is going on there.”

Her fantasy clearly revolved around the dungeon, and it was dark, but what could it possibly be?

Shaking his head, there was no way to clear his mind by walking backward and forward in his apartment.

Grabbing his keys, within minutes he was down to the underground parking facility, and driving toward the library.

Alexa was due to finish within an hour, which gave him more than enough time to grab some general groceries, and take her back to his apartment.

Why do you care?

It’s just fantasies.

Everyone is allowed to have them, and not share them.

Becca shares hers with William.

An hour later he was no closer to understanding his concern as he sat waiting for Alexa to leave the library. He gave Laura a wave, and waited as his woman made her way toward him.

“Hey, bad boy,” she said, kissing his lips.

“Hey, yourself.” He cupped the back of her neck, tilting her head back, and deepening the kiss.

“That was some kiss.” She nibbled the corner of her lip, and he tugged it out of her mouth with his thumb.

“You don’t get to bite that. It’s mine.”

“What’s the matter, Corey?”

“Tell me your fantasy.”

She frowned, pulling back a little, and he tightened his arms around her.

“Why?”

“Why won’t you tell me?” he asked.

“I’ve known you for just over three weeks, and I’ve watched you with other women before then. I’m not ready to share something so private.”

Corey sighed. “You can share with me.”

“Look, I know we’re trying this relationship, or whatever the hell it is we’ve got going on, but that kind of stuff, it’s personal.”

“Baby, I’ve been balls deep inside your pussy, and I’ve prepared your ass to take my dick. How much more personal can you get?”

She ran her fingers through her hair, looking left and right. “Can we let this go?”

“I want you to tell me.”

“Then I will, when I’m ready, and when it works for us to actually do something like that. Give me time.” She gripped his jacket. “Why are you pushing this?”

“I don’t want you to hold anything back.”

Alexa smiled. “You’re not holding anything back?”

“No. You get what you see with me. I’m all yours, and I’m open for whatever you’ve got to give me.”

She licked her lips, looking nervous. “My fantasy, it’s, erm, it’s not normal, I don’t think. I’m not even ready to talk about it aloud.”

“Does it have to do with the dungeon at the club?”

“The darker fantasies?”

He nodded.

“Yes.”

Corey saw it was difficult for her to talk, so he pressed a finger against her lips. “I can wait.”

“Becca’s called me. She wants us to have dinner together.”

“Already arranged. William is coming round to my place. You’re going to stay with me and cook. We’ll handle her together.”

“I’m going to cook?” she asked.

“Your food is better than anything we can order from a fancy restaurant.”

“Seeing as you’re charming me, I will cook for us both, and you’re going to help.”

He moved toward the trunk of his car, and he opened it. “I’ve already gotten ahead of you, babe. Supplies for us to practice with.”

“I thought I was going home tonight?”

“Not tonight. You’re staying in my bed, and you’re not going to leave it until you’re screaming my name as you come around my dick.”

Chapter Nine

“I have to say I am surprised,” Becca said.

Alexa grabbed out the bottle of wine and turned toward her best friend. The dinner was going great. She and Corey had spent the whole of Saturday preparing the food for William and Becca. The couple had arrived an hour ago, and they would start eating soon. Corey had wanted to wait to start eating.

“What are you so surprised about?” Alexa asked.

“I was worried. When I heard you and Corey were together, I was concerned for you. You’re my best friend, Alexa.”

“You don’t need to be worried. Honestly, I’m happy.”

“I can see that. We’ve not even had dinner and I’ve never seen this side of Corey before.”

Alexa chuckled, opening the wine.

“You’re really happy?” Becca asked, placing a hand on Alexa’s arm, stopping them both from joining the men.

“I’m happy. Please, don’t worry about me.”

“Have you told him about your fantasy?” Becca asked.

Tensing up, Alexa glanced toward the main room, and shook her head.

“You’ve not told him?”

“I’m not ready to divulge something like that. Not yet. Surely there’s stuff you’ve never told William?”

Becca shook her head. “William knows everything about me, Alexa. I don’t keep secrets.”

“That kind of secret isn’t something I want to share right now. I’ve known him a couple of weeks.”

“Then give it time. I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to wait.” Becca let her arm go.

Following her friend into the main room, she saw Corey had taken William to the table.

“I’ve got the wine.” Pouring them each a glass, she sat beside Corey and took a sip.

“So, this is the real deal with you two?” Becca asked.

“Yes,” Corey said.

He took her hand, and she offered him a smile. This was all still a little surreal to her. She was dating the ultimate bad boy at the club. There were times when she woke up wrapped in Corey’s arms that she had to pinch herself. She wondered if she would ever get bored with being with him.

There was far more to him than just being a bad boy. He had a history, and a lot of desire within him. She had seen many of his projects as he’d shared his many portfolios with her. One day, he would figure out what he loved more than anything. In the meantime, she was hoping that spending time with her was actually inspiring him. He said it was, and she was more than happy about that.

“No more women?” Becca asked.

“Stop it,” Alexa said, smiling. “You’re not going to break us, or discover something bad is going on. Corey and I, we’re happy, and as strange as it may seem, we have gotten over any issues that you think we might have.” Glancing back toward the kitchen, she excused herself to go and get the main course.

They had settled on a light vegetable soup with some croutons on top. The croutons were already made, and the soup was keeping warm.

“Are you okay?” Corey asked, entering the room.

“Yeah, I’m just serving the soup. You can carry for me.”

Corey moved behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “Something is bothering you?”

“Nah, I’m fine. Actually, I was thinking about you.”

“Me? That’s good. Anything naughty will have to wait until our guests are gone.” He went to cup her pussy, and she slapped his hand away.

“I’m not talking about that. Have you made any progress with what you want to do?” she asked.

“I loved buying estates, but selling them I didn’t enjoy. Art was fun, but competitive.”

“I noticed the other day there were several files on your computer. I clicked on them, and I started reading.” Alexa felt him tense behind her.

She turned around to face him, and he trapped her against the counter.

“I’d forgotten all about them.”

“You’re a writer?”

“No, I’m not a writer. One night years ago, I got bored with arguing for contracts on the phone. I opened my computer up, and just started writing. They’re nothing, Alexa. Just some words on a computer.”

She shook her head. “Read those stories again for me when you’re free. Read them, and let me know how they make you feel.” She pressed a kiss to his lips. “Time to serve.” She handed him two bowls, and she took the other two.

The stories she had read on his computer were all unfinished, and had annoyed her. She had gotten into the sexy murder mysteries, and she’d just be happy to find out how they were going to end. He had skill that she wouldn’t have ever known if she’d not needed to search for something online.

The rest of the night went by without a hitch. Becca stopped asking her invasive questions, and they were able to have a lovely meal. While they were eating, she saw the way William treated her friend, and the touches he’d give her.

Corey was the same with her, only it wasn’t about sex, not really. It was just reaching out, and touching, caressing.

Love.

Shaking her head, she refused to think about love, or what it could mean. Her time with Corey had been the best she’d ever had, but she was giving them both time. At the end of the night, they had finished an entire bottle of wine. William and Becca took the spare room, and Alexa finished the dishes as Corey put away the table.

She was drying her hands on a towel when he made it into the kitchen.

“I’ve decided I’m not going to pressure you for your fantasies anymore.”

“You’re not?”

“No. I know it must be hard to be in a relationship with me. I’m not the easiest guy to trust. I’ve made a life out of being the opposite of what a woman wanted. I mean, we met in a sex club, and I’ve never wanted to be in a relationship. I’m going to prove to you, and this will take time, that you can trust me.” He kissed her lips. “I can wait. I’m a patient man.”

****

Two months later

Corey stared at his finished story, and couldn’t believe how damn happy he was. For the past two months since Alexa had mentioned checking one of his stories, he’d not really thought much about it. When Alexa had gotten ill he’d sat on the bed with his laptop, and started reading once again. After he read what he’d already done, he got sucked back in once again, and now the story was finished.

Leaning back in his chair, he clicked his fingers and smiled.

“I’m done.”

“What’s that, babe?” Alexa asked, coming into the office.

He was at Alexa’s place as she had converted one of the spare bedrooms into an office, which he was using when they were together. She still worked in the library during the day, and he had a corner set up for him to work. He spent every available second with her, and he couldn’t think of better way to spend his time.

“I’ve finished.”

She was eating some cereal, and she moved behind him. He captured her waist, tugging her closer. They visited the club frequently, and they had even beaten several of the bets people had placed on them on how long they were going to last. Corey didn’t like that he was given a week before he moved onto another woman.

There was no other woman. They played only together, and that was never going to change. Alexa more than satisfied him.

For the first time in his life, he was actually happy.

“This is it,” he said.

“What?”

“This is what makes me happy. It has taken me a long time to figure it out, but being with you, and writing. This is what I love to do.”

“Can I read your story?”

“Yes.” He had already organized for an editor, and Alexa had done some research for him as well. They were not going to hunt for an agent, and then a publisher. He was going to prepare everything online. Corey didn’t like conformation to any kind of rule.

“One story down, another to go.”

“I was checking and I’ve got ten stories that I’ve started, and not finished.”

“No stress? No desire to have a heart attack?” she asked.

“None.”

“We’re on to being together for two months. Are you bored?” she asked.

He shook his head. Tugging her down onto his lap, he took the bowl from her, and placed his hand on the inside of her thigh. “What I’m about to tell you is going to scare you a little, and you might not even believe me.”

She played with the hair on the back of his neck. “I’m ready.”

“I love you, Alexa Evans.”

She paused. “You love me?”

“Yes. I’m not the perfect guy, and you could have any guy you wanted. I love you. You’re my life, and you make me happy.”

She cupped his cheek. “You make it hard for a girl to talk.” She leaned forward, and pressed a kiss to his lips. “I love you as well, and it scares me. I’ve never been in love before, and you’re making me question myself.”

“Good. I’m about making you question yourself.”

She chuckled, resting her head against his. “It’s a dark fantasy,” she said.

“What?”

“I don’t even know why it arouses me, but it’s something that also confuses me. One of my fantasies, the darkest one I have. It’s a, erm, a kidnapping fantasy, but it’s not the dangerous side. It’s stupid really. I like the idea of being held captive.”

Corey smiled. The dungeon was strictly for couples who explored their darker desires. A safe kidnapping fantasy was one he had heard about between couples. The woman liked to give power over to his husband, who happened to be the captor.

“That’s your darkest fantasy?”

“Yes, and it has always embarrassed me.” She rested her head against his shoulder, covering her face with her hands. “It’s crazy, right?”

“It’s not crazy at all. You’ve got to tell me every single element of this fantasy of yours. I can’t guarantee that it will be perfect, but I can certainly do my best to make it work.”

Corey sat with Alexa on his lap as she told him exactly what she wanted, and how her fantasy always played out. Even as he listened, his cock swelled at the thought of giving her what she wanted.

Once she finished telling him everything she wanted, she took her bowl, and left him alone. Staring at his laptop screen, he grabbed his cell phone, and dialed William’s number. “Hello,” William said.

“I need your help.”

He didn’t tell William Alexa’s fantasy, but he arranged to have the dungeon that was accessible via a secret tunnel. Corey had helped design certain parts of the club. Once he had everything in place, he’d be playing out Alexa’s fantasy, and he also had a little twist of his own. Reaching into his pocket, he held the ring that he’d bought for her.

This was a huge step for him, and one he was the most nervous about. Corey had played a lot before he met Alexa. There was no other woman for him. He couldn’t sleep at night unless she was in bed. In the last two months they had been together, the one night he was away from her, he’d actually gone to her house at three in the morning, and fallen asleep with her in his arms. There was no other way for him to sleep than with Alexa in his bed. They still shared their time between her place and his. He hoped to one day share a place that they would call their own.

Closing his laptop, he went in search of his woman. His cock was rock hard, and he wanted both her pussy and her ass. He rarely fucked her mouth as he loved hearing her scream his name, and with his dick in her mouth, he couldn’t hear her.
