Robert Holdstock was born in 1948 in a remote corner of Kent. Before becoming
a full-time writer in 1976 he worked in medical research, and holds a Master's
degree in Medical Zoology. His published novels to date are
Eye Among the
Blind, Earthwind, Necromancer
and
Where Time Winds Blow.
He has also
published a volume of short stories,
In the Valley of the Statues,
and
has co-authored a number of illustrated explorations of fantasy. He lives in
London.
