Lorraine looked up and saw the love of her life standing at the foot of her bed. It was not a dream. He was really standing there.
“Hi Jim. It’s nice to meet you. Thank you for saving my life. I will never to able to repay you.” She wanted so badly to hold him in her arms
“I’m sure we will think of something when you are feeling better.” Jim smiled and took ahold of Lorraine’s hand.
Ed looked puzzled. “Do the two of you know each other?” He asked.
Jim turned, smiled at Ed,
and answered.” You might say that. It’s a long story and one of these days we will fill you in on the details. We should leave and let Lorraine get her rest. I have to go back to Los Angeles, but I will be back soon.” He told Lorraine as he gave her the kiss he had wanted to give her for such a long time.
Lorraine
had gone home the next day and was busy cleaning up the damage the quake had cause
d, she felt
someone tap her on the shoulder.” I hear you need someone to help clean up the damage the quake caused around here.” She turned and saw Jim standing next to her.
She ran into his arms and they feel as one after all of the terrible times it took to reach the freedom to really express their feelings in a true way.
The sun was sinking over the beach as Jim and Lorraine sat in the sand on the beach. They were holding each other as if one of them may disappear again.
“I’m so happy you suggested we spent our honeymoon at the beach. It’s great and so is the company.
”
Lorraine laughed.
“Well, I thought I should get use to the beach and the ocean since we will be living near it.
”
Jim reached up and messed with Lorraine’s hair, as he lifted her up and carried her into the water giving her a kiss that make them both feel as if they were melting into the
ocean
.
“You will always be my last love forever.” Lorraine whispered to Jim as they made their way back to the beach
house.
