Chapter 11

Brielle
(Bri)

I grabbed my duffle bag and
quickly got the hell out of dodge. Not because of the shit that went down
between me and Brandi.
I’m used
to that
shit. She didn’t like me and the feeling was mutual. We have a love/hate
relationship. I’m not the easiest person to get along with. I can admit that. I
like to fuck other women’s men. My sister is no exception. She knows how I get
down so I can understand why our reunion wasn’t a happy one, but I’m over it. I
just needed a place to crash, but seeing Brandon kind of put me on
edge
.

Brandon didn’t recognize me, but
I sure as hell recognized his ass. Who couldn’t remember those pretty ass
eyes?
This town of Salisbury is just too small.
That’s why I left because
everybody
knows
everybody. I held my duffel bag in hand, clueless as to where the fuck I was
going. Not only am I broke, but very homeless.

My move to Baltimore in hopes of
snagging me a Raven didn’t happen. So I stayed true to my profession as a
stripper, but I was always in some drama. That was my middle name. Some bitch
was always in my shit about me fucking her man. What the hell am I supposed to
do if your man wants to fuck? If he wants pussy and I’m looking for dick that’s
a match made in heaven. I look at it like this, if your man doesn’t take the
relationship seriously why should I?

Eventually,
my
dirt
caught up with me. A jealous wife had her
son
ransack
my house and robbed me. I
mean he went to work. He took my furniture, my TV, my clothes, my jewelry. I
mean everything. He even managed to find my stash. I had a
nice
stack almost twenty-five
Gs
. Yes, I was pulling in
niggas
left and right, but if you want to play
you got to pay. The shit I got between my legs is golden and it ain’t free.

Now I like I said, I like men
that are taken. We don’t have any strings attached. It’s a simple arrangement.
I give you the gold between my legs and you give me cash, but I’m not a
fighter. I am definitely not about that life. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll fight if
I have too. I just choose not to. I’ve lost way more than I’ve won so you do
the math.

After being robbed, I’m not going
to
front
, I was scared. I’ve been
attacked and jumped outside of the club or while I was out in general, but to
know someone was up in my home where I rested my head had me spooked. That’s
the only place I felt safe. Once that was violated I was ready to come home.

I called few of my johns and they
looked out for me. I was able to make it home safe and sound. Thank the man
upstairs for that. Now, I just had to figure out my next move. Being broke, I
ain’t about that life either.

I stood at the end of the
driveway ignoring the lewd acts and profanity thrown my way as I used my hand
to shield my eyes from the sun. I don’t have a lot of friends. I’m no longer
welcomed in my mother’s house because she told me third times a charm and
kicked me out on my ass. I guess after I stole boyfriend number three that was
it for me. I know what you’re thinking, but I can’t help who I am.

At least I’m honest about it. I’m
a straight up hoe and proud of it. I learned from the best because my mother is
a straight up pro. One thing I can say about Brandi, she is legit.

I sighed already tired of the sun
beating down on my skin. There was only one person left to call. She was going
to have to make arrangements whether she liked it or not. Besides I don’t
think,
she will mind if she wants me to keep
her secret.

Chapter 12

Roxie

I arched my back as his tongue
rolled across my clit repeatedly. He did it so fast it reminded me of a
windshield wiper. I held onto the back of his head with one hand while
massaging my nipple with the other. I bit my bottom lip and rotated my hips to
keep up with the tongue lashing he was giving me.

“Hmmm,” I
moaned
as my eyes rolled in the back of my head. “Yes, baby,” I
encouraged as I moved my hips faster.

I opened my eyes and looked down
at him, keeping my hand firmly behind his head. I wanted to speak, but I
couldn’t. It was just that damn good. I pleaded with my eyes as he looked into
mine. I could tell by the way he gripped my thighs and stared up at me that he
wanted this as bad as I did. My pussy was soaking wet. I could hear the gushy
sound of my box as he played in it. Finding my
voice,
I willed him to take me there.

“Please don’t stop,” I begged as
I clamped my knees tighter around his head. I was holding him hostage until he
gave me what I wanted. “Right
there.
. .
right . . . there,” I panted slightly lifting my ass off the bed.

On
cue,
he stuck his finger inside my anus, wiggling it around. My
climax was explosive. I could barely contain myself as my juices squirted into
Miguel’s mouth. He softly moaned as he licked my button slowly just how I like
it after I came.

Mmmmm.
. .

mmmm
. . . ,” I whimpered placing my head into the pillow. I wound my hips still
trying to get all I could get out of him. I was sensitive, but I
was being
greedy. I wanted to get all I could
get out of this moment. It
felt too
damn
good I wasn’t ready to let go just yet.

Miguel remained in place as I
soaked up this euphoric moment. My pussy was on a blissful high and I wasn’t
ready to come down, but my phone began to sing. It temporarily distracted me
from the sensational feeling taking place between my thighs. I could feel
Miguel staring at me. He couldn’t fuck worth shit, but he could eat some pussy.

After I fully satisfied my lust,
I pushed Miguel to the side and stood up. I was soaked. My sheets were soaked
as well. Without
saying
a word, Miguel
hopped off the bed and watched me pull my covers off my bed. He got his rocks
off too, so I’ve done my good deed for the day. He stood up and began to put on
his clothes. He placed a clip full of cash on my dresser.

I’m not a hoe, at least I don’t
see myself that way, but I live a lavish lifestyle and I’m willing to do any
and everything to keep up with the
joneses
.
I walked past Miguel and into the
bathroom to
grab a
washcloth
. He was putting his
shoes on when I walked back out of the bathroom.

My phone started singing again. I
sighed as I picked it up. I frowned as I stared at the unrecognizable number. I
was the least bit interested in finding out who the caller was so I kindly slid
my finger across the red button and sent them to voice mail.

“We do
again tomorrow
? Miguel asked me in his thick accent.

“Si
papi
,” I sang, putting my phone down. I walked up to him, wrapped
my arms around his neck and kissed the top of his forehead. He was a good two
inches shorter than me, but he was handsome with his tan
skin
and bright eyes.

He smiled and kissed me on the
cheek. I threw on my robe and walked him to the front door. It was Sunday so I
really didn’t have anything planned for the day. I want to see Vee, but I knew
I made her feel uncomfortable the other day so I don’t know where her head is
at. My stomach began to growl taking me away from my thoughts. I rubbed it
preparing to make my way to the kitchen until my doorbell rang.

I frowned as I spun around on my
heels. Maybe Miguel forgot something, I said to myself. I pulled my robe
tighter around my waist.

“Who is it?” I yelled before peeking out of
the
peephole
. As soon as I did, I
regretted opening my big mouth. “Shit.”

“You know who it is so open the
door. I need a favor.”

“Dayum,” I said to myself,
placing my back to the door. I closed my eyes wishing she would get the hint
and go away, but that didn’t happen.

“Really Roxie?” She yelled.

“Fuck,” I mumbled under my breath
as I turned around and opened the door. I didn’t even begin to hide my
attitude. “What the fuck do you want?” I asked placing my hand on my hip.

“Well, hello to you too,” she
snapped brushing past me.

The bag on her shoulder caught my
eye. I grabbed her by the arm to stop her from going any further. She snatched
her arm away from me and for a minute I almost lost it. She must have noticed
the look in my eyes too.

“Roxie I need a place to chill
for a few days.”

“And?” I asked, folding my arms
underneath my breast.

“Really Roxie? You
gone
act like that? Oh, I guess you forgot what
I did for your ass?”

“No, I didn’t. I just remember I
also paid you for your services.”

“Come on Roxie, I’m in a bind
right now,” she whined, but that did little to faze me.

Being this close and personal to
Bri made my skin crawl. Something told me I should have gotten rid of her ass a
long time ago. Her being here made me think karma
was being
true to her word.

“I’m desperate,” she pleaded
getting down on one knee.

I could see it in her eyes that
she was, but I didn’t care. I paid my dues so therefore I didn’t owe her ass
anything. If she was looking for
sympathy,
she sure as hell wasn’t getting it from me, but I figured, for now I would let
her ass stay. If not, I had a feeling she would be singing like a damn canary.

“This shit is only temporary and
I do mean temporary. You have four weeks. I don’t care what hell you do, where you
go, but you gettin’ the hell up out of here.”

She frowned and stood up. “Okay.”

“Come on,” I said turning around.

She smacked me on my ass and gave
it a squeeze. “It will be just like old times,” she whispered in my ear.

Four thirty couldn’t get here
fast enough for me. I sat at my desk secretly stalking the clock. All my work
was done, so I sat there at my computer faking the funk. I anxiously tapped my
foot as I glanced at the clock on the wall, willing the minute hand to move
just a little faster.

“You can go if you like?” My
office manager Sheldon said to me. “Is everything finished?”

“Yep,” I said nodding my head as
I sat up and began shutting my computer down.

“Okay good. Can you dump the
trash in the lab on your way out? I think one of the girls forgot to dump it
Friday? Thanks,” he said walking away before he could see my frown.

That trash will still be sitting
there tomorrow. Dr. Siddique doesn’t pay me enough for all we have to do. We
have to make his coffee for him in the morning and on top of that every Friday
is cleaning day and guess who does the cleaning, the staff. We do all of that
for a measly eleven dollars and fifty cents an hour.

I swear he is so cheap. On top of
that he doesn’t offer any insurance benefits, no paid time off, just a week of
vacation that’s it. The vacation time doesn’t increase either, like some jobs
after you’ve worked at a place for so long you accrue at least two to three
weeks more vacation. Not this sorry, cheap muthafucka. I can only shake my head
at the foolery. I’m so glad I only work Mon, Wed, and Thurs and an occasional
Friday.

Yes, I only work part time as a
Medical Assistant. Just enough to keep Uncle Sam off my ass. I stood up and
walked to the time clock, passing Sheldon along the way and punched out.

“Bye,” Tina one of my co-workers
said to me as I bypassed her.

I gave her my ass to kiss. She
only did it to be smart. She knows I don’t rock with her like that. She’s one
of those know it alls, and she doesn’t know how to talk to people. I had to
bring her ass down to size plenty of times.

As soon as I hit my truck I
pulled my shades
on
and immediately cut
the air on blast. Before I pulled out I had to rock to some beats. I thumbed
through my cd collection. I smiled as I popped in the cd and turned the volume
all the way up. I bounced my
shoulders
and
turned
my lips up as I rocked with
the old
skool
jam ‘Yo’ Nan Hoe’ by Trick
Daddy featuring Trina. I love old school music, like Tupac and Biggie. Now that
was music that stuck with you. Today’s music is only around for a season.

As I kept my eyes on the road,
while keeping my left hand on the wheel I grabbed my purse. I fished around for
my cell phone. I grabbed it, glanced at it and tapped it to bring it back to
life. I punched in the code. As I scrolled through my missed calls and messages,
I noticed that not one of them were from Vee.

I tossed my purse to the side and
killed the volume. I dialed her number.

“Hey girlie,” she sang in the
phone like everything was peachy.

“What you doing?” I asked
matching her tone although my insides were on fire.

“Nothing really. Brian and I are
heading out to eat.”

Hearing his name had me seeing
red. I wanted to be rid of him already. She was always doing something to fuck
up our chemistry.

“You still dealing with that
bum?”

“Roxie.”

“I’m just saying Vee. He’s a bad
boy. Don’t let that whole image of him being a
businessman
and owning his own club, fool you. You know he runs drugs?”

“Roxie, I had a good day today
and I’m not about to sit here and let you ruin it with your childish
accusations.”

“Accusations. Oh, so you don’t
believe me?”

“No, I don’t.”

“So you’re basically calling me a
liar?”

The phone went silent and I was
crushed. I couldn’t believe Vee was playing me like this. If she only knew the
lengths,
I’ve gone through for her.

“I’m not calling you anything
Roxie, so take it how you want to. Look I have to go, I’ll call you later.”

I looked at my phone. She hung up
on me. I stared at the phone, forgetting that I was driving until a horn
brought me back to reality. I tossed the phone on the passenger side and got
control of the wheel. So caught up in the fact Vee basically dissed me and
called me a
liar
I didn’t realize I had veered
into the lane beside me.

To know Vee would up and do me
like that did something to me. I never took
rejection
well. Anger consumed my entire body and I began to shake. She’s basically known
me all of her life and she’s picking sides already. I try to keep my inner
bitch under control, because when she comes to life anything could happen.
Thanks to Vee she’s reached her limit.
