Chapter 45: Andi

Izzy
checked her watch. "Okay, guys. I’m
gonna
head
off." She slammed the rest of her Margarita and pushed it towards the edge
of the table. "Think you can manage the rest of that without me?"

Shane
and I eyed the half empty pitcher between us.

"I
think we can handle it," I said. "But I might need to break for food
after."

"Me
too," Shane said.

Izzy
scooted off her barstool. "Just text me wherever you end up, and I'll come
find you."

We
nodded.

"Have
fun," I said. "See you later."

She
sauntered towards the exit and disappeared under the flashing Corona sign.

I exhaled
as soon as she was out of sight. When I turned to look at Shane, his eyes were
already on me.

"Do
you think she knows?" I asked
.

He
shook his head. "No. No way
she'd
be able to act
that normal if she did."

"How
is she not getting The Ink about this?" I squinted at him. "I figured
she'd be able to pick up on our pathetic acting in a second considering the
company she normally keeps."

"I
think I was particularly convincing, actually."

I
shook my head. “You weren’t. And your obsession with trying to get me to play
footsie with you was untimely and juvenile."

"You
know you can't resist playing footsie with me."

"I
can think of other parts of you I'd rather play with."

He
raised an eyebrow. "Why don't we go back to the house and you can tell me
more about that?"

"After
this," I said, tapping the pitcher.

"By
all means make it easy for me to-"

"We
can't.” I craned my neck forward. “Not when she's here. It'll be written all
over my face if we-"

"It'll
be worse if we don't relieve some of the tension, don't you think?"

I
sighed. "Maybe."

He
refilled our glasses and slid the empty pitcher beside Izzy's abandoned glass.

"When
are you going to tell her?"

He
shrugged. "It’s weird trying to figure out how to tell her how I feel
about you when I haven't even figured out how to tell you."

I
dragged a fingertip along the salty edge of my glass. "That's okay. I
already know how you feel."

He
shook his head. "You don't know the half of it."

I
drained half my glass in one go, relishing the way the tequila ignited my
throat and sloshed in my empty stomach. "Do you want me to tell her?"

"After."

"After
what?" I asked, watching a tray of loaded nachos go by.

"After
I do," he said. "I'll tell her this weekend before she leaves. But
I'm sure she'll want to hear it from you, too."

I
nodded. "She deserves that much."

"I
just wish I had some idea how she's going to take it."

I
raised my eyebrows.

"She
already gave me shit about how insensitive it was for me to get serious about
someone when there's no one even on her radar."

"Everyone
is on her radar."

"You
know what I mean," he said. "So the fact that we’ve both-"

"Maybe
it'll be fine. Even if it takes some getting used to, eventually she'll
understand. She's not losing anything."

"Sure
she is. And we're the ones gaining." He drained half his glass and licked
his lips. "But I guess there’s no sense in worrying about it because I'm
not going to stop seeing you regardless."

"Really?"

"Really.
You’re like online poker to me."

I
laughed. "I'm flattered."

"You
should be," he said. "Though it sounded more romantic in my
head."

“I
believe that.”

"What
I mean is, there's nothing I enjoy more."

"Thanks."

"And
nothing I'm less likely to give up on."

"Aww."

"And
nothing that gets me as high, that gives me such a rush."

"See,”
I said. “Now that's sweet."

"And
nothing I'm more likely to sneak off in the middle of the night to do or wake
up early in the morning to do or do on my lunch break or-"

"You
guys want another pitcher?" a bright eyed sorority girl asked as she
collected our empties.

"No,"
I said. "Just an order of loaded nachos."

"Yeah,"
Shane said. "To go."

A
few minutes later, Shane picked up the tab, and I picked up the bag with the
nachos.

They
were sort of an impulse buy, but I already had an appetite, and if the next half
hour went the way I expected it would, we were going to be in desperate need of
a snack very soon.

I
let the bag dangle from my fingertips and strolled along next to him. "Fun
day so far," I said, keeping my eyes on the edge of the sidewalk.

"Something
about your slightly slurred speech tells me it's only going to get
better."

"I'm
not slurring."

He
grabbed my free hand and held it loosely, making my whole body feel alive.

I
looked down at where we were connected. "I don't think we've ever held
hands before."

He
laughed. "Maybe we did things in the wrong order."

I
smiled. "It's nice."

"You
should see what I can do with two hands," he said, glancing at me out of
the corner of his eye.

"So
what do you say we pop in a movie when we get back to yours?"

"I
thought we'd pop something in alright, but it wasn't a film I had in
mind," he said, pulling me down an alleyway.

"Where
are we going?"

"To
the fire exit."

"
Cause
you don't want to be seen?"

"No,"
he said as we entered the parking lot. "Because I'm in a hurry to get you
alone."

I
smiled and weaved through the sparsely populated lot after him, the butterflies
in my chest crashing into each other the whole time.

When
we reached the back door, he opened it and stepped to the side, letting me
through first.

I
started up the steps ahead of him, stopping when I reached the second floor.

He
opened the door and took my hand again on his way by, leading me to his room,
his grip on my hand noticeably stronger than before.

And
as soon as I followed him inside, he pushed me back against his bedroom door
and kissed my salt laced tongue.

I
reached the nachos out to the side and lowered them until they hit the desk.

He
slid his hands around my hips, the warmth and pressure off them making my
insides clench.

"I
hate to rush this," he growled in my ear before he pulled my soft sweater
over my head. "But it's been far too long since I had you."

I arched
my back and tilted my hips against him. "It hasn't even been a day."

"Like
I said-" He kissed me as he unbuttoned my jeans and dragged them down over
my ass. "Far too long."

Chapter 46: Shane

I
felt like a fucking sex addict, like if I couldn't have her in that moment I
might die.

It
was crazy.

I
wanted her more than I wanted my next breath.

I
picked her up and carried her over to the end of the bed, sucking the delicate
skin of her neck as she lowered her legs again and found her footing.

"Shane,"
she whispered, letting her head fall to the side so the scent of her hair
flooded my nose.

I
took her bra off and laid my hands on her hips while she fumbled with my belt,
causing a surge of desire to pulse through me.

She
pulled my cock out and held the tip against her stomach, stroking it with her
other hand.

A
growl escaped my throat. "Turn around," I said, twisting her hips.

I
pinned my dick against her ass and slid my hands up her stomach, nibbling her
ear as I groped her breasts and pinched her nipples between my fingers.

She
lifted her arms around my neck and pressed her ass to me, causing a bead of
precum
to smear across her lower back.

I
slid a hand down between her legs, my palm cupping her warm snatch.
"Fuck," I breathed when I discovered how wet she was.

I
worked my fingers against her until I felt her tension drain into the floor.
Then I slid my fingers inside her, causing her body to wilt against me.

She
gasped as I scooped her out, her tightness choking my fingers as my other hand
crushed her breasts against her chest.

"Bend
over," I said, pushing her down until she was resting on her elbows, her perfect
ass suspended in front of me.

I
pulled her pants a little farther down her thighs and grabbed my dick, pushing
it against her wet entrance and watching as I sank into her tight center.

She
groaned when I disappeared inside her. "Oh god that feels good."

I
dug my fingers into her hips and pulled back before rocking into her again.

She
moaned every time, unable to hide her pleasure.

And
she was so tight with her knees locked together like that, her shaking thighs
sucking me balls deep again and again.

"Don't
stop," she pleaded.

I
bent over and laid a hand flat against her belly, pressing it towards her spine
so every inch of her insides pulsed around me. With the other hand, I flicked
her clit in time with the slow rhythm of my thrusts.

"You're
going to make me come," she said, arching her back.

And
then I felt the temperature rise in my gut like a brewing volcano.

I
pulled out of her and slapped my dick against her ass- not just to buy myself time,
but because I liked the sound of it, the look of it, the feel.

Then
I curled my fingers around her waistband and pulled her pants down to her
ankles.

She
stepped out of them, and I slapped her ass, causing her to fall forwards and
crawl onto the bed.

She
rolled onto her back just in time to see me stepping out of my pants, my wet
dick standing at attention between us.

"You
feel too good, Andi," I said, crawling on the bed after her.

She
was propped up on her elbows, and I moved forwards until my face was over hers.
Then I lowered my lips to kiss her, realizing every kiss only got better and
that I would never stop looking for the next opportunity to taste her.

I
lifted my head, locked my eyes on her, and reached for one of her legs, keeping
my eyes on her as I slung it over my shoulder.

Then
I found her opening again and slid inside, watching the light in her eyes
flicker until I hit her so deep they watered.

"Are
you okay?" I asked, thrusting inside her as far as I could.

She
nodded and bit her lip.

I
kept moving and reached a hand down to her heat, touching her swollen clit so
her lips fell apart.

She
reached one hand up and ran it down my chest so gently it surprised me.
"Come with me," she said, her eyes fixed on mine.

I
shrugged her leg off my shoulder and picked up the pace, my balls slapping
against her.

"Yeah,"
she whispered, wrapping her legs around me. "Right there."

I
sped up again, my upper body rigid as I focused on splashing against her warm
center.

A
moment later, she gasped and threw her hands over her head, squeezing the
pillows in her fists.

When
her eyelids fell to half mast, I felt the first wave of her orgasm choke my
cock, and I drove inside her, emptying my desire in her belly and letting her
see the need in my eyes.

She
lifted her head and kissed me.

I
collapsed on top of her and closed my eyes. The room was dark then except for
the burst of bright, throbbing color I could feel between us where she kept
squeezing me as hard as I was stretching her.

"And
I thought we had fun at Six Flags," she panted.

I
smiled. "Think of the money we could've saved."

She
laughed.

I
felt it in my dick.

"You
were right," she said. "This was definitely the right call."

"So
were those nachos. I'm getting stuck into those as soon as I catch my breath.”
I slipped out of her and laid my head between her breasts.

She
dragged her nails through my hair in little swirls as her voice dropped to a
whisper. "You were worth the wait, Shane Jennings.”

"And
you're the best thing that ever happened to me."

"Besides
online poker?"

I
lifted my head. "I love you, Andi."

She
blinked.

"I
always have."

"I
know," she said.

"What
do you think it would take for you to feel the same way?"

She
smiled. "You could start by bringing me those nachos."

I
groaned and rolled onto my side. "If I'd known it was that easy all along,
I would've gotten this party started a long time ago."

I
grabbed the takeout off the desk and made my way back to the bed, getting under
the sheets as she had.

"Thanks,"
she said, pulling the Styrofoam container out of the paper bag.

"That's
really all it took?" I asked. "To win your heart?"

She
looked at me out of the corner of her eye. "Well, that other stuff didn't
hurt."

I
watched her tuck the top of my bedsheet under her armpits, feeling completely
struck by her disarming beauty.

Then
I popped open the container and angled it towards her, my stomach growling at
the intoxicating smell.

She
lifted a cheesy chip and popped it in her mouth.

I
followed her lead, snatching one with a large piece of chicken and a fresh
jalapeno slice on it.

A
moment later, my phone rang.
