Of course, maybe he could tell, because he had started working her with his fingers again, too, really giving it to her.

She sat up on her elbows a little, driving herself down. That gave her more friction, gave her the feeling of his fingers deep inside her as his lips closed around her clit.

Addie threw her head back, her orgasm fluttering through her, shaking her to her toes. Bodie stayed with her until her aftershocks faded, his mouth on her sensitive inner thigh.

She licked her lips, moaned softly. “Damn.”

“Mmm hmm. You taste amazing.”

That made her blush, made her duck her head. “Listen to you.”

“Just the truth, honey.” He humped up against her, smiling, his blue eyes hot, full of need.

She reached down, took him in her fingers, measuring him from base to tip, letting her palm rub about the head. His body went stiff, his breath coming in on a sharp sound. His cock jumped against her palm, hot as anything.

“Addie.”

“Mmm-hmm.” She leaned up, lips brushed his collarbone as she swirled her hand again.

He just pushed into her hand, really let her feel his need. Bodie’s skin felt like velvet fire.

She nuzzled in, licking and biting the tiniest bit at his shoulder, his throat. She liked the way he tasted, too, his skin salty but not offensive. Oh. She could taste all sorts of things. Addie headed south, hand still working as she did.

“Unh.” Bodie made this amazing noise when she reached his stomach, his muscles sucking in, the anticipation clear.

“Mmm-hmm.” She rubbed her cheek against his belly, letting her chin nudge the tip of his cock.

“Oh, honey. Don’t tease a man, now.” He lifted his hips, the request about as obvious as could be.

“Not my style.” She turned, lips sliding over the broad head of his prick as her tongue slipped across the slit.

“No. No, you’ve been upfront. I like it.” He sounded like he was strangling a little. God, it was cute.

She lapped gently, rolling his balls with her fingers. His sac drew up, which was fascinating, and his cock jumped, his blood rushing through his veins. He made her ache, and she started sucking, working him, swallowing around his prick.

He groaned for her, petting her hair, pretty damned gently for someone as desperate as he was. His voice fell down around her, too, soft and low, telling her how good it was, how good she was.

Addie worked a little harder, tongue pushing along the underside of his shaft, pulling the darker cries out of him. She could tell it had been a while since a girl had done this for him, loved on him. It felt good to give him pleasure, and she was feeling pretty mellow from her orgasm. She could do this all morning.

She slowed down, humming around the man’s cock.

“Addie.” His fingers tangled in her hair now, not enough to tug or hurt, but enough to let her know she needed to get with the program.

“Mmm-hmm.” She went all the way down to the root, swallowing, tightening her lips for the long pull up.

“Damn.” Bodie rolled up a little, almost squishing her.

She glanced up, then did it again.

“Cruisin’ for a bruisin’, you are.” His laugh was husky, needy. Perfect.

She swirled her tongue around his cockhead, playing happily. His legs spread, his heels digging into the bed, and man, he was so ready. She could feel it in the way his muscles shook. It didn’t take but a tug to the heavy ballsac, and he was grunting, filling her lips with salt, moaning her name. Hot, musky, utterly male; she liked the way he tasted, too.

She rested her head on his belly, both of them breathing hard.

His fingers danced on the back of her neck. “Be careful, honey. A man could get used to this.”

“Mmm. I’m not in a hurry, cowboy.” She didn’t have any plans, not yet.

“Good. Still raining, huh? Feeding can wait while we have a tiny nap and some breakfast.” She could hear it in his voice. Reality would come back sooner rather than later.

For right now, though, neither of them was in any hurry.

She’d take it.

Chapter Three

Bodie swung the last bale up into the back of his truck and glanced across the bed of it at his brother, Tyson. Little shit was looking pretty grown up for the baby of the family. Pretty good, too. The girls were noticing, wiggling and giggling as they passed by the feed store.

“Thanks for helping me load up, man.”

“You know it.” Ty was home on leave for four whole weeks, and Momma was beside herself. Her baby boy soldier, back from the desert.

“How’s it going at the house?” Bodie loved his folks, but he didn’t go over much. Now that Lyla had moved back in with her two year old, it was like a circus.

“Loud. Real loud. The baby is pretty cool, though. He poops a lot.”

“Does he?” Bodie wrinkled his nose. Still, his traitorous male mind wandered to how good Addie would look with a baby. Which was stupid, because one night of nookie did not a relationship make. And he was pretty sucky at relationships, or at least keeping them alive.

Literally.

“Yeah, and Lyla cries a lot. Momma says she hopes Art comes back for her.”

“Well, if he does, he’d better be ready to take his licks.” Bodie didn’t dislike his sister’s man, he just didn’t think it was right to run off wild-cattin’ in the Gulf when you had a brand new baby around.

“Whatever. I’m just glad I live with guys.”

“Yeah?” Seeing an opening to rib his brother, Bodie raised a brow. “You queer?”

Ty flipped him off, the act lazy. “Life would be easier if I was. No worrying about oops babies.”

“Wrap it up. Don’t make her do all the work.” He knew Ty didn’t want advice, but he had some just from recent experience. The thought of Addie made him smile.

“I know that. I watched the movies in Basic.” Ty winked over, grinned. “You finally getting laid again?”

“Who, me?” He winked. “I had a good one a few nights back, yeah.” That was about all the kiss and tell he was up for, but what the hell? He felt good, and he didn’t care who knew.

Speaking of good nights, who walked out of the feed store but Maddie Granger, a fifty-pound bag of sweet feed draped across her shoulders. Addie’s sister, and didn’t that make him stumble over his own feet.

“Here, Maddie,” he said. “Let me help.”

“Hey, Bodie!” She offered him a grin and one end of the feed sack. “Thanks, man. You’re a gentleman and a scholar.”

He couldn’t believe that this strong, blonde, Amazon of a woman was the twin of tiny, curvy little Addie. One of them had to take after Chris and the other Brandt, but he wasn’t even sure that was possible, separate turkey basters or not.

“No problem.” He helped her load up, grinning when her end flew higher than his. “Anything else?”

“Nah. I’m fixin’ to head into town and get Lucy’s fried chicken for home.”

“Yeah?” He went for real casual. “Your sister still in town?”

“If you’d called her, you’d know she was.” Those chocolate brown eyes were just laughing at him. “She’s home for good. That last assignment was too scary for all of us, so she’s working from here.”

Tyson looked back and forth between them, a grin dawning. “Oh, man. I thought you were dating Maddie for a minute, which, wow, okay. But it’s Addie, huh? I always liked her.”

Maddie looked at his baby brother like a mare looking at a green cowboy with a bridle. “Don’t worry, kid. The big bad cowgirl isn’t going to seduce your brother. Don’t you have a teenager to chase like a puppy?”

Ty flushed about eighty shades of red and ducked his head. Bodie just chuckled. “How did I not know you had a sister?”

“She, uh, had a little issue with public school. They ended up sending her to a private arts school in Dallas, then she went off to California for college. Me, I stayed home and went to Tarleton State.” Maddie shrugged. “Daddy Chris says she’s just got traveling feet like him. I’m more the nail-my-feet-to-the-ground type.”

“You are settled in your bones, I’ll give you that.” Shit, like Maddie Grainger didn’t live on the road a hundred days out of a year. He gave Ty a hard glare when his brother snorted. “You think it would be okay? If I called?”

“I think she’s been making sure her phone is charged and close.”

“Oh.” Now it was time for his cheeks to heat. “Well, all right, then.”

Maddie chuckled. “I happen to know that she isn’t fond of Lucy’s fried chicken.”

“You’re a gem, Maddie. Thanks.” He’d call her as soon as he sent Ty on his way.

She winked at him, waved, and hopped up in her truck. He turned to his truck, Ty standing there with his teeth in his mouth.

“Oh, stop it.” He assumed it was about him and Addie, but who knew? Ty might have a thing for Maddie. He sure was acting like a boy who pulled a girl’s pigtails at school.

“Stop what?” Ty’s eyes rolled. “Did you see her ass?”

“She’s too old for you. Right?” He sure hoped Addie was more his age than Ty’s.

“Uh-huh. Absolutely. Not as old as you, though.”

“Then you just quit it. You good to go? I know you wanted to go to Miss Lee’s and look at boots.”

“I’m ready.” Ty’s eyes watched that big red duallie leave the parking lot.

“Ty.” He tried not to snap. “You told me you were meeting friends. Can you get a ride with them?”

“I. What? Yeah. Yeah, sure.”

“Cool.” He felt a tiny pang of guilt, because who knew how much time he’d get to spend with Ty while he was home, but damn. Addie was on his mind. “Call if you need me, though, okay?”

“Uh-huh. You’re going to get laid. It’s good for you; you don’t want your balls to fall off.”

“Asshole.” He flipped Ty off and hopped into the truck. If he didn’t have to drop Ty off at Mom and Dad’s, he could swing by and pick Addie up. If she answered his call.

Ty waved, already on his phone, talking away. Asshole. Bodie thought he was actually going to grow up to be a solid man.

He flipped his hands free button, glad Ty wasn’t there to note that he’d put Addie on a voice tag. That might be a wee bit presumptuous. “Call Addie.”

The phone only rang once, though, before that teasing voice sounded. “Hey, Cowboy. What’s up?”

“Hey, lady. I hear you don’t like Lucy’s chicken.” Was that too forward? Shit, he knew she liked direct, but she hadn’t called, so there was still a girl in there.

“Did you now?” Her laugh rang out. “It must be Maddie’s night for supper. You see her at the feed store or the Wal-Mart?”

“Feed store. How do you feel about hot dogs and hamburgers?” He could grill. She could actually see his place in the daylight, maybe.

“I am a fan. I’m even willing to bring beer and cake.”

“I like that. You know how to get to my place?” He’d driven her back to her car after they fed the animals the other morning, and it had been raining cats and dogs. “I have to run by the store and get mustard.”

“I do. What time?”

“Gimme forty-five minutes.” Bodie needed to pick up condoms, too.

“I’ll be there, cupcakes in tow.”

“See you in a bit.” He had to make sure the phone was off when he whooped for pure joy. Might be embarrassing if she heard that.

He got rubbers and hamburger buns, mustard and ice, and two new lawn chairs. That way they could sit out in the back and not worry about dry rotted straps and dirty butts. If he was lucky, she’d bring good beer. Oh. Cooler. A cooler would work. And ice cream. He loved him some ice cream. Cupcakes were good, though.

Still, he could lick ice cream off her nipples and listen to her moan. Oh. Down boy. That was putting the cart before the horse. Horses. He ought to offload that feed, too.

He pushed through the checkout line and headed home, getting the groceries in before she showed in her red Charger. It suited her to the ground. He met her out in the yard.

“Hey, honey.”

She stepped out in the tiniest pair of Daisy Dukes he’d ever seen, a light blue halter top that showed off the dusting of freckles on her shoulders, and her amazing hair up in a ponytail. She looked like the perfect summer day, like he wanted to dive right in.

“I brought Shiners and chocolate cupcakes.”

“Beer and chocolate for the win.” He stepped up and kissed her mouth, figuring it was no time for him to be shy. He’d kissed lots more intimate parts of her.

She pressed right against him, soft and warm and womanly. She smelled like shampoo and hay, which made him smile against her mouth.

“Good to see you too, cowboy. So glad you called.”

“I didn’t want to seem desperate, but I sure wanted to see you again.” He held on longer than he should if they wanted that beer to stay cold.

“I promise to tell everyone you made me wait. Let’s put the beer in the fridge.”

“Do the cupcakes need to go in, too?” The grill was gas. He’d just turn it off real quick.

“They ought to be okay in the kitchen.”

“Well, good deal.” The feed could wait. She knew the way to his kitchen, so he passed through to turn off the grill, and met her at the fridge.

She was bending over, her ass right there, curved and tiny and perfect. He was a man. Bodie had to grab that sweet tush, and squeeze. Addie squeaked, jumped for him. When she whirled around, her breasts slapped his chest. It made his cock harden so damned fast.

“Hey.” Her halter top slipped to one side, one pretty nipple exposed for him.

“Hi. Promise you don’t want supper first?”

“I think pre-grilling nookie sounds perfect.”

“Appetizer. I like it.” He picked her right up and carried her to the bedroom.

She wrapped her legs around him, fingers working his buttons open as he walked. By the time they hit the bed and bounced, his shirt was gone. Her little halter was way easier than her bra had been last time, so they got skin on skin early on.

God, she was something, stretched out on his bed, all curves and sweet, smooth skin. He pushed her tiny shorts down her legs, caressing all the way back up.

Thong.

Hot pink thong.

Oh, God.

Bodie just stopped for a moment, torn between leaving it on for a bit and tearing the little scrap of lace right off. It was a fantastic sort of quandary.

She chuckled, winked, then slid one side of the thong down, exposing shaved skin.
