Griffin had won the two-week, expense-paid trip while she was on
Cream of the Crop
. They planned to cash it in the following spring before they got bogged down in the last-minute details prior to La La Land’s grand opening. Rachel had already reserved a room at a quaint bed-and-breakfast hotel in Tuscany. Griffin, of course, had booked tables in all the best restaurants.

“I can’t wait to see the world with you,” Rachel said. “What do you think our next adventure will bring?”

“I don’t know.” Griffin leaned forward and gently kissed her lips. “But I can’t wait to find out.”
