“They’ll serve dinner soon, so we’ll need to get back to the party before long, but perhaps we can give you a taste of the pleasures two men can provide,” Marco said as he stood with me still in his arms. “Move so I can lay her down,” he instructed.

Lucca slid off the sofa as he took a long swallow of the amber liquid in his highball glass. “What did you have in mind?”

Marco eased me out of my dress before draping it over a nearby chair. “Suck on her tits while I take care of her pussy,” he answered. He sat me on the couch with my heels resting on the edge of the cushion before kneeling in front of me. With a peaceful expression on his face, he drew his finger up my wet slit to press against my clit. “Isn’t this the prettiest pussy you’ve ever seen?”

After taking a seat beside me, Lucca reached down and dipped a fingertip into my core. “Prettiest and wettest,” Lucca agreed before withdrawing his hand and sucking my cream from the digit. He turned his attention to my breasts as I felt the first swipe of Marco’s tongue between my legs.

I lifted my arm—opening my torso for Lucca’s attention—and sighed when he wasted no time latching onto my engorged right nipple.

Lucca moaned appreciatively as he sucked one breast while cupping the other. Marco had been correct, there was nothing like the feel of two men worshipping my body. I started to worry that once wouldn’t be enough. I wondered if they also shared a woman on Marco’s birthday and when that was.

Marco entered me with his tongue and my entire body broke out in gooseflesh as a surge of pure pleasure raced through me. My breathing increased as his tongue stabbed in and out of my core. “Yes,” I panted, burying my fingers in his thick hair.

Marco’s thumb circled my clit. “Come for me, love.”

Love? I melted at the endearment. Tony had never given me a nickname unless bitch could be considered a term of endearment. The moment Marco pressed against my clit, I cried out as my release overtook me. “Marco!”

I could feel the walls of my cunt quiver as Marco devoured my pussy through my climax. When he finally pulled back to look up at me, I smiled.

“What?” Marco asked in a soft voice.

“I’m happy,” I admitted. “Happier than I’ve ever been.”

Marco wiped my moisture from his face before moving to sit beside me, opposite his brother. “I could say the same to you.” He leaned in and sealed his lips over mine, thrusting his tongue deep into my mouth. I loved the way Marco kissed.

I felt Lucca release my nipple and kiss his way up to my neck. “It’s time for dinner,” he whispered.

Marco broke the kiss and stared into my eyes. “Do you like Lucca’s mouth on your breast?”

I nodded. “Does that make you angry?”

Marco glanced at Lucca before turning his attention back to me. “No. It makes me happy that you allow me to share you with him. He is my family, and soon, I hope to make you family as well.”

I blinked several times, wondering if I’d heard Marco correctly. “You want to make me family?”

Marco shook his head. “I want to make you my wife.”

Chapter Four

Sandwiched between Lucca and Marco, I entered the massive formal dining room and was surprised to find most of the seats had already been taken. I looked up at Marco. “Where should I sit?”

Lucca pressed his hand to my lower back. “You will sit with Marco to my right.”

I bit my lip. There was a single empty chair to the right of the head of the table. “There’s no room.”

“I will make room,” Lucca declared. He broke away and walked to the suited man sitting next to Marco’s empty chair. Bending slightly, he spoke to the man before indicating me.

“Who is that?” I asked Marco.

“An associate.” Marco wrapped his arm around my waist and guided me toward the head of the table while Lucca shared several terse words with his associate.

The last thing I wanted was to cause trouble. “That’s okay. He doesn’t have to move. I can sit somewhere else.”

“No,” Marco replied as his hand tightened on my hip. “They will all need to get used to you at my side.”

Obviously angry, the man rose from his chair and stalked toward the opposite end of the table. He shot me a narrow-eyed glare as he passed. It was the first time since I’d arrived at the party that I felt unsafe. My body language must have mirrored my emotions because once we were seated, Marco motioned for Vince.

“I want Sid in my office tomorrow at ten,” Marco growled.

“Of course, Mr. Carducci,” Vince replied before moving to speak with the associate who’d been forced from his seat.

I reached for Marco’s hand. “I really don’t want to cause trouble,” I told him.

Marco lifted my hand to his lips. “Respect for you will be demanded if not given freely.”

I wasn’t sure what that meant, but I nodded. “Okay.” I scanned the table and noticed Candice’s scowl as she sat halfway down its length. Evidently, Lucca hadn’t been kidding when he’d said Candice was now Porcini’s problem, and it appeared Candice wasn’t happy about it.

“Would you like another glass of champagne?” Lucca asked.

Although the champagne was almost too good to pass up, I decided it would be better for me to keep my head in the present crowd. “No thank you, but I would like a glass of water and perhaps a cup of coffee during dessert.”

Lucca gestured to a server and relayed my order before getting to his feet. The entire room went silent when he moved to stand between me and Marco. “Thank you all for coming. I’ve welcomed you into my home to celebrate my thirty-fifth birthday, but perhaps some of you need a reminder that although this is a social occasion, I will not hesitate to remove you if you forget your place.” He held out his hand to me and after several moments, I accepted the gesture and placed my hand in his. “I would like to introduce you to Ella. She is very dear to me and to Marco, and you will all treat her with the same respect given to my brother and me or you will suffer the consequences. Is that understood?”

A rumble of acknowledgments filled the room. I desperately wanted to pull my hand away. I wasn’t used to the level of attention aimed my way, and I felt inadequate. After all, I wasn’t the most beautiful woman at the table, and I certainly wasn’t the most interesting.

Before releasing my hand, Lucca placed a soft kiss on my palm. “Dinner tonight should be extraordinary, so please enjoy,” he said before resuming his seat. He leaned toward me and smiled. “That should take care of it, but if not, don’t hesitate to inform me, Marco or Vince and we’ll handle it.”

“It’s nice to meet you,” an older woman on my right said. “I’m Gloria.”

“Ella,” I introduced. “Nice to meet you as well.”

“Pay no attention to the younger women here. They’re simply jealous.” Gloria placed her napkin in her lap before picking up a glass of red wine. “As are some of the men,” she continued. “You’ll have to forgive my husband. He was hoping to discuss business with Mr. Carducci during dinner.”

It dawned on me that the man ousted from his chair was Gloria’s husband. “No need to apologize. I’m sure being separated from you didn’t sit well with him.”

Gloria giggled and poked me playfully with her elbow. “Oh, honey, Sid’s fucked half the women here, so I’m sure being away from me isn’t an issue for him.”

I decided two things in that moment. I liked Gloria very much, and I detested her cheating husband even more. “You don’t mind that he fucks other women?”

Gloria shrugged. “I’ve got a mirror, and I’m not as young or as thin as I used to be.”

I nodded in understanding because Gloria echoed my own worries about falling in love with Marco. I felt Marco’s hand on my thigh and grinned. “Excuse me,” I said to Gloria before turning my head to gaze up at Marco.

“Is something wrong?” I asked.

Marco got to his feet and gestured to his chair. “Why don’t you trade me seats so you can get to know Lucca better.”

I slid over, feeling awkward. I prayed Gloria didn’t take offense to the move.

The second Lucca took my hand his expression softened. “Much better,” he replied before leaning back to accept the bowl of soup the server placed in front of him. “I’ve instructed the staff to serve the courses as I finish them without a lag between them.”

After speaking quietly to Gloria, Marco placed his hand on my thigh once again. “Yes, we’re both anxious to get this dinner over with and retire to Lucca’s private quarters upstairs.”

I licked my lips. “Me, too.” Although the resemblance between the brothers was uncanny, Lucca’s body was more muscular if a few inches shorter than Marco’s. I couldn’t help but wonder what Lucca would look like nude. The thought sent a wave a pleasure through me, prompting my thighs to squeeze together to relieve the sudden ache in my pussy.

Marco chuckled and moved his hand higher between the split in my dress. “I think your body likes that idea as well.”

“Very much,” I confessed.

I thanked the server when he set a bowl of what appeared to be clam chowder in front of me.

“I want to know about Annie. Marco often tells me how much he enjoys having the two of you in his house. I’d like to meet her.” Lucca squeezed my hand before releasing it to start on his dinner.

Just knowing how much Marco enjoyed Annie and me living with him, put me at ease. “Well, Annie will turn one in a few weeks.” I cast a glance at Marco. “Thanks to Marco, she’s now perfectly content with baby food and bottled milk.”

Lucca quirked an eyebrow at his brother. “Something tells me you had an ulterior motive.”

Vince stepped up to the table and whispered something in Marco’s ear. My handsome mob boss went completely still before morphing into a man I barely recognized.

“What?” I asked.

Marco got to his feet and held out his hand to me. “We need to speak in private.” He gestured for Lucca to join us.

Pulling me by the hand, Marco stormed through the house toward the front door.

“What’s wrong?” I begged.

“Wait,” Marco ground out between clenched teeth.

When I tried to stop walking until I got an answer, Marco simply lifted me into his arms and continued through the open front door to the waiting limo. “Marco! Talk to me!” I wasn’t sure if I’d done something to anger him or if he’d been alerted to danger at the mansion.

Marco slid into the car with me still in his arms. Once Lucca was beside us and Vince had shut the door, Marco finally spoke. “Tony went by the house and begged Maria to let him see Annie.”

My entire body began to shake at the announcement because I knew there was only one reason Tony would want to see our daughter.

Lucca scooted closer. “Your men should’ve never allowed him to speak to Maria in the first place,” he growled.

Marco didn’t take his eyes off me as he continued. “He convinced the guards that he merely wanted to check on his daughter. Most of the men are fathers, so they understood.” He pressed his lips to my forehead. “They will be severely punished for their mistake.”

“I don’t care about them!” I cried, hitting Marco’s chest with my fist. “What about Annie?”

Marco’s arms tightened around me. “Tony hit Maria over the head with something and tried to escape with Annie, but Lucky stopped him before he could leave the house.”

I gasped in relief. “So Annie’s okay? I need to see her!” I screamed, trying to pull out of Marco’s embrace. I was angry at everyone involved and only wanted to hold my sweet girl in my arms.

“Annie fell to the floor in the struggle. She suffered a bump on the head. The doctor’s already been called.”

“This is what I was afraid of, but you told me we’d be safe with you!” I accused, lashing out.

“Shhh,” Lucca soothed, drying my tears. “Nothing like this will ever happen again. We promise you that.”

I shook my head. “If it was just me, I would happily accept the risk to be with the two of you, but I have to think of Annie.”

Marco squeezed me so tight I could barely breathe. “No. I will build a fortress for you and Annie if I have to, but I can’t let you go.”

“Let’s talk about this after Ella’s reunited with her daughter,” Lucca suggested as he peppered soft kisses to my shoulder.

I didn’t feel there was anything to talk about, but I nodded my acceptance. Getting to Annie was all I cared about at the moment.

* * * *

I sat next to Annie’s crib and continued to watch her sleep. Luckily, the bump on her head was very minor and nothing to worry about, according to the doctor. Poor Maria was given twenty stitches on the back of her head, but she would also recover.

Both Marco and Lucca had been in several times to check on me and Annie but neither had stayed for long. I could tell by the expressions on their handsome faces they were worried that I would leave, but I honestly hadn’t made up my mind yet. I had to think of Annie. Of what her life would be like if I stayed. On one hand, Annie would be cherished by a houseful of people who could afford to give her everything she could possibly need, but on the other hand, I didn’t want her to be isolated from other children the way Lucca and Marco had been.

“You should get some sleep,” Maria said from the small twin bed in the corner of the room. “I will watch over our angel.”

I knew Maria was right, but the guilt I still carried wouldn’t let me leave Annie’s side. “I’m a horrible mother,” I mumbled.

“No.” Maria pushed back the covers and swung her legs over the side of the bed. “The only reason Tony was able to get through the gate was because he was her father. Mr. Carducci’s men are very good at protecting this house. You
are
safe here.”

I thought about the armed guard stationed outside the nursery. I knew it was more for my peace of mind than an actual threat. Tony was being taken care of, according to Marco. I hadn’t asked how my husband was being taken care of, but I supposed I should probably ask.

Getting to my feet, I reached into the crib and brushed my hand over Annie’s soft black curls before turning to Maria. “I think I will lay down for a bit. Please find me when she wakes up.”

“Of course,” Maria replied.

Still dressed in the gown I’d worn to Lucca’s party, I made my way out of the nursery. I nodded to the guard. “Do you know where Marco is?”
