Chapter One
Her long hair cascaded down her back, let loose just the way he liked it. She wanted to feel his fingers caressing her scalp as she learned how to please him on her knees. Her hands slid up his muscular thighs and squeezed. It wasn’t the perfect night she’d planned; he’d decided to work late and had begged her to come to his office. Before she knew it, she was stripped bare, brought to her knees as he stood in front of her with his pants down to his ankles, instructing her on what he liked and how he liked it. She licked her lips.
He moaned and tapped the tip of his cock against her mouth. “Stop teasing me, baby. I need you right now.”
She smiled at him. She wanted to love him, please him, and give him what he liked. Her hand wrapped around the base of his penis while the other cupped and gently massaged his balls. The tip of her tongue found his sensitive slit before lapping up the pre-cum about to drip onto the cheap industrial carpet, and then she did it…
It was her first attempt at giving a blowjob, and it was powerful. She liked the satisfaction of giving him pleasure and assumed that he liked it, too. His fingers tightened and tangled into her hair while her mouth worked in rhythm with her hand. Up and down, up and down, fluttering and swirling her tongue as she went. Before long, her moans joined in with his, and without warning, he exploded into bliss while giving her no choice but to drink him in.
“Damn, Meagan. That was amazing, honey.” He held out his hand to help her up. As she stood in front of him, she couldn’t help but blush, and it made him laugh. “See, that’s one of the things I love about you. Your innocence. It’s so precious.”
“Is it, David? I’m glad I amuse you.” Meagan looked away momentarily as he observed her in all her naked glory. David was ten years her senior, a professor, and if she hadn’t felt like she was in love with him at the moment, there was no way she would have allowed him to corrupt anymore of her so-called innocence. But after months of dating, he had wooed her, and there she was, vulnerable and needing him. “Are you going to join me?” She took a step forward and pressed against him. “I want to see you as naked as I am.”
“God, you’re tempting.” He moaned again and walked her backwards toward his desk. He lifted her up and stepped between her thighs. “But I need a few minutes, baby. This isn’t one of your romance novels. A man needs time in between rounds.”
She bit her lip, not knowing what to expect. Her inexperience was showing. “Do you need any help?” she whispered, and looked down at his semi-erect cock.
He smiled but didn’t answer. Instead, he captured her mouth in a heated kiss to shut her up.
She was naïve, all right, and definitely distracted. She was in bliss, with his mouth against hers and his hands coaxing her nipples to feel so good, making them hard.
She writhed against him, expecting to be taken to new heights, but then without warning, he suddenly thrust into her hard, right to the hilt.
His force hurt so much. She cried and begged him to slow down the whole time, but he wouldn’t listen. It was a painful experience both literally and figuratively.
It was a nightmare.
Meagan shook her head to try and dislodge the horrible memory from her mind. She’d been so wrong about the professor, and it was time to move on. Her one time with a man, and David treated her as if she didn’t exist afterward, and then went back to the wife she had known nothing about, until it was too late.
Good riddance.

Six months later
Meagan was finally home.
She’d just pulled up to the address her older cousin, Nathan, had given her. This was her new beginning, and she couldn’t wait to get settled. Yet she was still nervous. Nathan was a married man who lived an unconventional lifestyle with his wife and two other lovers, who also happened to be her best and closest girlfriends. Although Meagan thought their arrangement was great, she was still a little uncomfortable with her current predicament.
Relax, Meagan. Just keep to yourself, ignore the orgy fest, and you’ll be fine.
She sighed as she stood in front of the door.
It’s now or never. Knock, damn it! Get a grip. This is a new beginning, and it’s not like you’ll be living here long anyway. Get a job again, and find a place of your own. How hard can it be, right?
Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice when the door opened until Nathan crushed her to him in a big hug. “Hey, squirt, what are you doing standing out here?”
“I was about to knock. You just didn’t give me the opportunity to.” Meagan smiled warmly at her favorite cousin and stepped back to get a better look at him. “It’s great to see you,
primo
. I hope I won’t be imposing.”
“Nonsense.” Nathan laughed and helped her with her bags before they went inside. “
Mi casa es su casa, preciado
.”
“It’s good to know. I’ll try not to get in the way, and I’ll get a place of my own as soon as I can.”
“No worries, Meagan.” Nathan rolled his eyes, looking exasperated. “You’re family, and I wouldn’t have offered for you to stay here if you weren’t welcome, so chill for a while and come see the gang. Heidi and Zoey are thrilled to have you back.”
“Okay.”
He led her into the spacious living room where his beautiful wife, their friend, and one of the most gorgeous men she’d ever seen sat comfortably on the couch in front of the television. She’d met the other guy briefly at Nathan’s wedding and was instantly greeted in yet another warm embrace by the girls.
“Meagan.” Heidi squealed in excitement. “Welcome, honey. It’s so great to see you again.”
“Thank you.” Meagan chuckled at her enthusiasm. “It’s great to see you, too.”
“Have you met Rafe yet?” Nathan interrupted.
“I think so. He was at your wedding, right?”
“Right.” Both Zoey and Rafe stood, and Zoey embraced her with a big hug.
“Welcome home, Meagan. We’ve all missed you so much,” she said, and then nudged Rafe forward with her elbow. Rafe being Rafe gave her one of his sexy smiles, and instead of shaking her hand, he caressed it before bringing it up to his mouth for a kiss.
“Hello, beautiful. Care to join us?”
“Sure, what’s on?” Meagan stepped around him to look at the television, and then blushed when Rafe spoke again.
“Well, there’s that, too…”
“Rafe!” Nathan growled. “Be careful, she’s my cousin.”
“And hot, too.” Rafe chuckled. “Hey, man, she can always join Zoey and I. I’m just saying—”
“No, thanks.” Meagan spoke up to put an end to the discussion. Rafe was gorgeous, but she wasn’t interested in coming between what the group had. Not to mention that her first time had kind of ruined the spark for wanting anything remotely intimate at the moment, and he was a little out of her league. “But thanks for the compliment.”
“Any time, and hey, if you ever change your mind…”
“Rafe!” Nathan growled again.
“Come on, honey, leave her alone.” Zoey urged him back on the couch with a smile on her face, and the next time she looked at Meagan, she winked.
Whoa! Somebody’s gained their confidence. Way to go, Zoey!
“Let’s go get you settled.” Heidi draped an arm around Meagan’s shoulders. “Nathan and Rafe will bring the bags while Zoey and I help you unpack. We’ve got a spacious spare room on the main floor here you can use. It used to be Rafe and Zoey’s room. I hope you like it.”
“I’m sure I will.”
The room was brightly lit with soft colors and had a large bay window, but the main attraction was the four-poster king-sized bed right in the middle. Entranced, she couldn’t help but test it out. “I love this bed.” She smiled and bounced on it a little.
Heidi and Zoey chuckled, Nathan grimaced, and Rafe grinned mischievously and winked, making her blush again and clear her throat.
“Sorry,” Meagan mumbled, and quickly got off of it.
“Okay, out.” Zoey ushered both men to the door.
“It’s girl time right now, and once we have Meagan settled, we’ll go out and celebrate.”
“Celebrate?”
“Sure, why not?” Heidi came to sit beside her. “Zoey and I thought that you might like to wind down with a couple drinks. It’s cheap drink night at the Rendezvous. It’s a local bar we like to go to now. They’ve got a regular live band there, and they play pretty well. How about it?”
“If you’re sure I won’t be the fifth wheel, then sure.” Meagan shrugged. “I could use a little fun.”
“I figured as much.” Heidi hugged her again, and Zoey came to join them.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
“About what?” Meagan sighed and wondered if she should just open up and finally let it all out.
“Well, it feels like it’s been forever since we last spoke. It’s like you shut us out, and if something’s going on, we want to be there for you. We love you, Megs, and if I wasn’t so happy to have you back right now, I’d probably be giving you shit for being so distant.”
“It’s nothing, really.”
Maybe if you keep telling yourself that, you’ll eventually believe it. Yeesh.
“Life was good, and I concentrated on school. Then I went and fell hard for David, and he turned out to be married. I didn’t find out until after I’d given myself to him for the first time, and I was crushed. I stuck around for a bit, finished what I’d intended to at school, and here I am. You all seemed so happy with the outcome of your dares and your happily ever afters,” Meagan’s anger resurfaced thinking about her experience. She hated herself for it, but she began to cry when she revealed the truth. “I just didn’t feel like putting a damper on your lives with my bullshit. I did your fucking dare, and he got rough. I hated it, and he turned out to be an asshole of the worst kind. Happy now? You both know everything now.”
She was enveloped in a huge embrace again from front to back as both Heidi and Zoey tried to comfort her. “First time as in with him, or was it your ‘first time’ first time? And what do you mean he got rough?” Heidi narrowed her eyes.
Instead of confirming, Meagan tried just shrugging it off. “It’s water under the bridge, really. Please don’t make me go into details. I’d rather just concentrate on unpacking and then having a good time.”
Fuck!
“That fucking dickwad!” Heidi growled. “I swear to God, if I see that fucker ever again, I’ll cut off that pencil dick of his and shove it down his throat.”
“She probably would, too,” Zoey said sympathetically. “I’m so sorry, Meagan. Did you go to the police?”
“Please don’t make me talk about this,” Meagan pleaded. “I just got back, and I need to concentrate on that. You know, getting back on my feet and being around the people who matter most.” She hugged them back, grateful for their support.
“He sounds like scum anyway,” Zoey said, and bent to haul the first suitcase up onto the bed to be opened.
“And I know exactly what you need.” Heidi rubbed her hands together eagerly. “You need some new spice.”
“Spice?” Meagan lifted an eyebrow with curiosity.
“Spice,” Heidi repeated, and smiled wide. “Spicing it up is how it starts, remember? It worked for Nathan and me, and again for Rafe and Zoey.”
“Rafe and I complete each other, as Nathan and Heidi do,” Zoey began. “I hope you’re okay with our arrangement, because we’re all very much in love. I can’t explain it properly other than to say that as couples we are complete, but as a foursome we’re so much more. And please don’t mind Rafe. He’s a big flirt, but he’s also harmless.”
“Yeah, I can definitely see that about him, and I think what you have is wonderful, actually. It’s hard enough to find one person to connect with, and yet you each found your one perfect match with the added bonus of two more whenever you’d like. If anything, I envy the two of you, but in case you haven’t noticed, I didn’t get the happy ending that you both did. And I’m so not ready to get back out there right now.”
“I knew I liked you,” Zoey joked. “But we just want to see you happy, too.”
“So what are you suggesting exactly?” Meagan asked. Were they trying to play matchmaker?
“I’m suggesting you spice it up!”
Heidi cheered and Zoey giggled, while Meagan mumbled, “That may be good advice … eventually. Just don’t push it, okay?”
Despite Heidi and Zoey insisting that she dress up a little, Meagan decided she much preferred the more comfortable look. After all, she was there for a good time with Nathan and the gang, not to pick someone up. Once her suit cases were unpacked, Heidi and Zoey had left her to get ready while they did the same.
She left her dark hair loose to cascade down her back, so long that it almost reached the hem of her shirt. Her black sweater clung to her curves, a slim-fitting tunic, worn with dark grey leggings and her knee-high leather boots. Now she stood in front of the mirror for one last glimpse to check her make-up.
Okay, Meagan, who are you kidding? Of course you want to look good. What woman doesn’t? You just don’t want to look desperate. Yeah, that’s it. You’re young, pretty, and … Oh hell, you’re going out with your cousin and his lovers. What does it matter what you look like? You’re the fifth wheel.
Sighing, she turned away from the floor-length mirror and decided to let everyone know that she was ready before she changed her mind and told them to go on without her.
