Dario

“I should kick your hot, Latino ass. You scared me shitless. Your guys told me that you had to be rushed to the hospital a couple days ago. I thought I’d be hearing from you after a day or two. When I didn’t, I started to get worried. Why haven’t you called, D. Oh, your mother and father wanted me to let you know they’ll be back in a few hours. They had some things they needed to take care of. I didn’t know they knew my mother.”

Dario looked at Lindsay and plastered on a smile. She wasn’t the woman he wanted sitting at his bedside and holding his hand. Yes, she was talented with how she used that tongue of hers the last time they’d gone out. She was beautiful, smart, and ambitious. The woman wasn’t shy in the least and knew what she wanted. She was even willing to embarrass herself to get what she wanted if necessary. All were great qualities … for somebody else. She was not the one that he wanted in his life. He knew he should be thinking about letting the other Norton sister go, especially if she’d moved on, but he couldn’t. Seeing her made him want her in his life all the more.

“Hey Linds, I didn’t mean anything by not calling or whatever. I’ve been in and out of tests after the surgery. It wasn’t me trying to say anything. I have been resting up whenever I’ve been left alone long enough to do so. No offense.”

She looked at him and turned her head a little.

“Hmm … quick question. Who was the sexy little beauty that was just in here with you? The two of you seemed like a couple. She wouldn’t be the one I overheard your mother saying she was worried about and the one you’d been asking for, would she?”

He was officially busted. Dario looked at Lindsay and wanted to say something to make this not seem as bad as it was.

Lindsay’s laughter filled the room as she watched him with those beautiful eyes of hers.

“Oh, I wish you could see your face. You look downright guilty. You do not owe me any explanation. We are just hanging out. If I get to see all of that hot, Latin, construction body naked and ready for me, then that’s a plus in my department. If I don’t, then that’s a minus in yours. Your girl seemed really worried. How bad was it? I’m seeing the wrappings and all, but I don’t know what happened.”

Dario exhaled a breath he hadn’t known he’d been holding and began to answer her question. When she asked if his mind was on other things, he answered honestly.

“Yeah, it was. I should know better by now. I’ve drilled it into my guys’ heads; you would think I would follow my own rules. It’s not that hard to do. I ended up falling into an open floorboard and had some wood splints in some precarious places.”

He laughed again and groaned at the pain it caused. Lindsay smiled sympathetically then rubbed his hand.

“Want me to kiss the boo boos and make ‘em all better.”

That made him laugh even harder.

“You are crazy, Linds. I can’t laugh. It hurts too much. You’ve got to stop being so funny.”

“Yeah, I don’t have a clue how to do that. You’ve got the wrong girl, bucko. My aim is to please anytime I enter.”

“That’s always my goal.”

Her laughter filled the room. Placing her hand on his leg, she began to run her fingers over the thin fabric of the gown.

“What was the laugh then groan for?”

His eyes were fixed on the hand and how close she came to his unfettered crouch with each pass. There was nothing underneath the fabric of the hospital gown. He’d fallen asleep as soon as he’d come back from x-ray. He’d gone to x-ray right after he’d gotten assistance getting cleaned up. He had been fighting to get on a pair of shorts they provided when he finally gave up and sat down. The nurse came in and announced the lab tech was there to take him for his testing. There was nothing he could do about trying to put them on then. He’d fallen asleep in x-ray. The meds he was on tended to have him resting well.

Seeing her hand drift up his thigh once more had him remembering that there was nothing hindering her from getting her fill if she wanted. His focus was on that fact for so long that she had to clear her throat to get his attention, reminding him that she’d asked him a question.

“Oh. I was thinking about my cousin. I always do when I use certain words. I know I’ve spent too much time with him when I start using ‘big’ words. There are words I wouldn’t normally use. Words like precarious aren’t part of my every day vocabulary. It is something that my cousin would use and has used in the past very often. He gets me hooked on a word because he keeps using it.”

He tried to keep his thoughts from the location of her hand, but couldn’t. As he tried to shift so there was more distance between her hand and him, the gown moved. The head was out and he hadn’t put the cover back over him after the nurse finished her examination. There he was peeking out and her eyes zeroed in. The hand that was hinting at getting to him was reaching out and touching.

“Do you think they’ll be back soon?”

She asked her question as she moved her hand up and down his shaft.

“I … I don’t know. I haven’t eaten yet. I also have my parents coming back and …”

She replaced her hand with her mouth and moved the gown off to the side. Sitting up on the bed, she sat with her legs folded but kept her hand in motion. Her left hand encircled him as her right pulled back the fabric of her skirt. She was wearing no panties and he had a clear view. Licking a couple fingers on her right hand, she took it and slid her hand in between her legs.

“What would you do if I used both of my hands to bring both of us pleasure?”

Dario swallowed hard as he felt her thumb rotate over and around him. He closed his eyes so that he could try to gain some perspective. He was in the hospital. There were people that could come in at any moment. This wasn’t the parking lot. They’d been caught there. He couldn’t risk being caught by his parents or worse, the other Norton sister.

“Shiiit, if that doesn’t feel good. We can’t. Dammit, I would really enjoy seeing that and being on the receiving end of that, but I can’t risk it.”

Yeah, that didn’t stop the stroking of that hand or the fingers that were dipping in and out of her. The moan that she released had his semi-erect cock rock solid.

“I think he has other ideas.”

She moved to take him in her mouth again and he tensed. Grabbing her wrist, in spite of the excruciating pain he was feeling, he pulled her off of him.

“Linds, you’re freaky as fuck, but I have to draw the line here. I’m not risking my mother seeing me in a compromising position. Thanks for stopping by to check up on me. I’ll call you to set something up once I’m better.”

Smiling, she pulled his gown back in place and stood. As she sauntered away, she winked at him.

“Hopefully, he won’t give you too much trouble. You’re probably going to have a bit of an issue trying to take care of it, but think of me as you do. See ya later.”

Dario flopped back on his pillow. Great. Fan-fucking-tastic! He had a hard-on and there was nothing he could do about it without having someone help him out of bed. The call button for the nurse was on one side of the bed. On the other side was a bucket.

“Please, oh please, let that water be cold and have some ice in it.”

Reaching out and grabbing the handle, he heard the ice move in the jug. He could’ve done a happy dance if he could move. Quickly moving the bucket in place, he grabbed a hand full of the ice and poured it over himself. It took everything in him to not scream like a little bitch at just how cold it was. Once he was effectively unexcited, he picked up the remaining pieces of ice and put it in the tissue that was sitting on his tray.

“I’m going to have to pay her back for that.”

“Who dear?” his mother asked as he was returning the pitcher to the table.

“No one. Glad you guys are back and with food. I’m hungry enough to eat anything you throw at me right about now.”

“Enough to eat lima beans, scalloped potatoes, and boiled chicken?”

The look he shot his father was one of complete disgust. All of the things he’d named were the things he hated the most and had vowed to never voluntarily eat if he could help it.

“If any of those things are what’s in that basket y’all brought with you, then you might as well turn around and walk back out that there door.”

“That’s not nice. Your parents come to visit you and you are trying to put them out. I thought I liked you. Maybe I was wrong in my assessment. I might have to rethink things if this how you really are.”

Dario shook his head and returned the smile of Mrs. Turner, his nurse since day one of his stay here in the hospital. She made sure to keep a smile on his face. It was her philosophy to have a happy patient.

“Happy patients make healthy patients.”

She said it often enough that it stuck. His mother looked as if she was going to defend his honor, but he spoke before she could.

“You know me better than that Mrs. Turner. Besides, you would’ve sniffed me out that first day if I was anything less than good to my parents. I’m good enough that my mother could be chastising me in one breath and quickly switch into protective mother if she feels someone is tearing down my character.” He took a breath and groaned. “Do you mind getting me something for some pain? I thought I could deal, but everything triggers pain in my hip or my ribs. I don’t mean to sound like a bitch boy, but do you mind?”

“How I survived dealing with you, your brother, and your father is beyond me. I tell you the truth the language that rolls so easily off the tongues of the three of y’all makes my ears hurt sometimes. Dario, I know your father didn’t instill a filter in that head of yours, but for your mother’s sake would you refrain from such words in the presence of the staff of this hospital?”
