“I can’t,” Roni began saying, her voice near breathlessness.

“It feels good?” he asked her, going down deeper and deeper.

“It’s too much, Jake,” she moaned.

“I can’t take it!”

But he knew she could.

And she soon realized she could, as the friction became sensual pleasure in its barest.

She screamed in elation when she felt his final thrust that made her experience the complete fullness of his cock.

Then his gyrations began again.

He hit her g-spot and hit it hard.

Repeatedly.

Her entire body was almost levitating now, as his gyrations began to increase to a point where he was thrashing her.

“That’s my baby,” Jake said, as he watched her reaction, as his own intensity grew.

“I want you to feel every inch of me.

Do you feel it, baby?”

“I feel it,” she cried. “I feel it so deeply!”

And that was what he wanted.

His deepest penetration.

Sometimes she couldn’t bear it, and he would have to ease up.

But soon she was taking it all in.

And he gave it all to her, pushing so deep down into her that he was jutting against her back wall.

It felt so good to them both that he laid on top of her, wrapping her into his arms, and she held on tightly as he gave her the fuck of her life.

Then it happened.

The veins of his massive biceps began to stretch, the muscles of his strong ass began to tighten, and he pounded into her with a force that made his balls ache in painful ecstasy.

And then his thrashing became spurting and he was releasing.

Now it sounded like slouching as he fucked her.

And Roni came when he came.

Her pussy tightened around his penis and she no longer could control her movements.

She came in a blaze of pleasure.

She felt every muscle within her body tighten with the outburst.

And then Jake made his final push inside of her, as deep as he could go, and he trembled.

They lay there, still holding onto the other, unsure what to make of this incredible ride they’d just experienced.

Both wanted to run away.

This was too intense.

They hadn’t signed on for anything this intense.

And both wanted to stay.

Because it was so intense.

Because it was nothing like they had ever intended to experience.

So they stayed.

When Aubrey drove up and he and Pam saw their father’s Audi parked on Roni’s driveway, they were shocked.

Kara, however, who sat on the front passenger seat, was thrilled.

All of the lights in the home appeared to be out, and there was a sense of peace around the entire neighborhood.

“Wow,” Aubrey said, genuinely surprised. “Looks like Dad actually came over here.”

Pam, who was seated in the backseat of her brother’s car, was wowed too.

Druce had left them earlier, saying he had some emergency with one of his clients he had to handle, and she was left for her brother and Kara to escort around.

And it annoyed her.

But seeing that her father actually came over to Roni’s house, after Roni had turned him down cold, made her feel a little better.

“I’ve never known Dad to run down some female,” she said.

“He’s not running her down,” Kara said, almost giddily.

“He’s just claiming what he wants.

And it’s wonderful.”

“What’s so wonderful about it?” Aubrey wanted to know.

“Because it is wonderful,” Pam agreed with Kara.

“Dad doesn’t usually care enough.

But he’s here, so he must have cared this time.”

Aubrey shook his head.

“That is so illogical, Pammie.

And I don’t get it, anyway.

Why are you and Kara so hell bent on hooking Roni up with Dad?

You know how Dad is with women.

She deserves better than that.”

“Stop saying that,” Pam insisted.

“Daddy treats women with great respect.

He’ll treat Roni just fine.”

“I know that’s right,” Kara said.

“He’ll treat her great and they’ll spend all of their time together and it’ll be wonderful.”

Especially when Roni makes Mr. Varnadore see that I’ll make a good wife for Aubrey
, Kara wanted to add.

“Yes, it will,” Pam agreed.

“It’ll be wonderful
.”

Especially when Roni distracts Dad enough for him to stop objecting to my relationship with Druce
, Pam wanted to add.

“Let’s just go,” Kara said.

“I’ll call Roni in the morning and get her to bring me my car then.”

“That makes no sense at all, Kara,” Aubrey insisted.

“You’re right here.

All you have to do is ring the doorbell and get your keys.”

“And disturb the lovebirds?” Kara said.

“Like no thank-you.

Now let’s go.

I’ll take care of it in the morning.

For real, though.”

Aubrey would never understand women if his life depended on it, he thought, as he cranked back up, and pulled back off.

FIVE

Roni woke up early the next morning expecting Jake Varnadore to be long gone back to his life, and leaving her to hers.

They both had a need last night, it was met, and that was that.

At least that was how she expected to find the next day.

But she was wrong.

Not only was he still in her bed, but he had gathered her so closely against him that he had both of his arms wrapped tightly around her.

And, unbeknownst to her, he had been awake for well over an hour, and had been lying there staring at her.

“Good morning,” she said as she turned her head and yarned.

“Good morning to you,” Jake said with a smile.

Even he was surprised at how great he felt to have her waking up beside him.

“You’re a sound sleeper, young lady.”

Roni smiled lightly.

“Not usually,” she admitted.

Jake liked the implication of her response.

He liked her natural beauty in the morning.

He liked
her
.

“I didn’t expect you to still be here,” she continued.

“I didn’t expect to still be here.”

Roni looked at him.

“Then why are you?” she asked.

Jake smiled.

“I just had to see your beautiful eyes again.”

Roni snorted, looked away.

“Yeah, right.

You were too tired to get up and leave.”

Jake laughed a full-throttled laugh.

“That too,” he admitted.

Then they both just lay there, as silence and a little awkwardness crept in.

At least Roni was a little awkward.

It had been years since she was in bed with a man who was not her full blown boyfriend, and never with a man like Jake Varnadore.

And although she loved the fact that he hadn’t tipped out on her like some coward while she slept in the night, she wasn’t about to make anything of it, either.

She knew when she laid herself down in this bed with him that he was a hit and run specialist, and that she would undoubtedly become yet another victim of his hit and run.

Only Roni wasn’t anybody’s victim.

She willingly participated.

Jake exhaled, with what sounded like an exhausted exhale to Roni.

“Long day ahead of both of us,” he said.

Roni could agree with that.

“Always.”

“I’m leaving for Moscow this afternoon.”

She looked at him.

“Russia?”

“And then over to Poland.

I’ll be back and forth between both countries.”

Just the idea of having a man in her bed with such a global reach fascinated Roni.

She’d dated successful men all of her adult life, but none of Jake’s caliber.

“Business?” she asked him.

“Always,” he said with a smile.

“We’re working on a merger between Varnadore Global and Berkshire International, which is headquartered in Russia, with subsidiaries in Poland.

We want to create a Varnadore-Berkshire chain of Eastern European hotels.

But we’re farther apart today than we were three months ago when negotiations first began.

So I’ve got to take over from here.”

“This doesn’t sound like an overnight trip.”

“Well, it’s my job to make it a quick trip.

A couple days at most are what I’m hoping for.

If I don’t put my foot down, these negotiations could drag on forever.

I’m not going to let it get to that.”

“Speaking of forever,” Roni said, looking past him at the clock on her nightstand.

“What time is it?”

Jake turned and looked himself.

“Eight twenty-five,” he said.

“Damn,” Roni said, kicking the covers off of her with her feet.

“I’ve got a meeting at nine.”

Jake looked at her as she got out of bed and stretched her naked body that had pleased him so completely last night.

And it was a body he loved.

He realized, just watching
her, that
he wouldn’t want to change a thing about her.

Not her body.

Certainly not her beautiful face.

And especially not her personality and confidence.

She was a woman, he was glad to see, who made no excuses for herself or her body.

She was a woman who was comfortable in her own skin.

“I’d better get at it, too,” he said, getting out of bed.

Roni headed for her underwear drawer.

Jake headed for the bathroom.

“Where is your office, anyway?” he asked her, glancing back as he walked.

Roni glanced at his naked, ripped body too, as she pulled open her drawer.

It’s
downtown,” she said.

“Business district?”

“Yep.”

“Good location,” Jake said as he entered the bathroom and lifted the toilet seat.

“It’s a very good location,” Roni replied, although her line of work, unfortunately, wasn’t a location-driven business.

She could hear him peeing as she pulled out a pair of purple underwear with matching bra.

And the intimacy of it all, with her naked in the bedroom and him naked in the bathroom, felt almost surreal to her.

To have spent the night with Jake Varnadore, a captain of industry, a playboy extraordinaire, was weird enough.

But to be standing here conversing with him as if they were an old, familiar couple from way back was kind of unsettling.

She felt a little overwhelmed.

Especially when she heard the toilet flush, water run briefly in the sink, and then she heard him call her name.

She placed her undergarments on the bed and walked over to the bathroom door.

She leaned against the doorjamb and folded her arms.

Jake was at the shower stall turning on the water
tap
.

He glanced back at her.

“Come shower with me,” he said to her.

Roni knew what kind of shower he had in mind.

Especially the way his wide blue eyes trailed down her body, resting on that special place between her legs, as if it was now one of his favorite places to view.

And she stood there deliberating.

The idea of being with him again, and of feeling his cock buried deep inside of her again, was certainly tempting.

It was extremely tempting.

But that didn’t mean it was wise.

This was hardly going to be a lasting relationship.

She would never be so naïve to believe that this man wanted anything more from her than a good lay.

But wisdom was for the birds right now, she thought, as her big hazel eyes trailed down his body too, and rested on that sack of joy dangling between his legs.

And that joy won out.

She pushed her body forward, and went to him.
