his is another choose-your-own-assignment day. It’s the final day devoted to Interpretation, so spend as long as you wish practicing your Interpretation methods before moving ahead into the Application section. Below are a few topics you might want to consider.
Perhaps you still have questions concerning the importance of oaths (5:12). Are certain sects correct in refusing to “swear to God” even in a courtroom?
Are we really supposed to resist becoming teachers (3:1)?
God does not tempt anyone (1:13), yet He sometimes tests them (Genesis 22:1). Is there a significant difference between the two, or are we just splitting hairs?
